Twenty Seven Hours Until Lab Detonation
Ralsis gazed out the window of his temporary 'office', deep in thought.
"That body they showed us," he mused. "That wasn't the Zero I meant. Which leaves the next question, where is the real Zero?"
He began to pace back and forth. "If he hasn't arrived on the island yet, he should be coming any day now. Julius is competent--he will lead the boy here sooner or later."
He stopped and turned back to the window. "Unless the good doctor managed to kill him. But that's unlikely..."
"In any event, It would probably be within our best interest to find him before CRL does...but it would be easier on us if they found him first, and it would be too risky to go down there. Might end up captured. Maybe if we distract them..."

"Either way, based on your commands, he's someone we need," Aiman answered, rubbing at the now-dried blood on her clothing. "Though I'm not quite sure why you would want him- is he someone you had a run in with in the past?"
She crossed her arms, hoping for an answer. "Not that it's my business, I'm just curious."

Ralsis smirked. "Jordan and I have yet to meet in person," he explained. "As a matter of fact, he barely knows I exist. But he is necessary for my mother's plan--him and the Casket." He turned to Aiman. "I'm simply doing my late mother a favor, Aiman. And if it requires having to impliment a complicated hostage situation between myself and the most dangerous organization the universe has ever seen, then so be it."
He walked over to the desk and ran his hand across it. "But...assuming that they won't give me the Casket," he said softly, "Then it doesn't really matter. There is a plan b, of course..."

Aiman chuckled a bit at the mention of his secondary plan. "I'll be sure to ask about it later. For now, I have business in the lady's room." she said, casually leaving the room. She sighed a bit, trying to remember which room it was. "...I probably should've asked him before I left the-"
pit pat pit pat...
The disastorous witch looked off to the side, swearing she heard footsteps. When the pitter patter of little feet came back into her ears, she slowly took off, landing in the dining room. "Alright!" the grown woman roared, hearing an audible gasp in the room. "You better get out of here, or else I'm-"
The sound of the fridge opening caused her to look in that direction, seeing nothing. "...I don't know what you're trying to pull, so get out here-" Before she had the priveledge of completing her sentance, she was hit right in the back of the head with a can of soda, the thing bursting open on contact, blinding her. "AUGH! You little scamp! When I get this gunk out of my eyes, I am going to KILL YOU DEAD! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"
Sadly, the executioner had pitter pattered out of the room as soon as she was... "canned," if you will. Of course, taking an alternate route.

Meanwhile...
Dark Pit couldn't remember how long it had been since he had been captured. Days? Weeks? Probably a week, he figured.
He felt angry. Well, angry and embarrassed. He couldn't believe that a runt--well, he had been sure he was a runt--like Ralsis could own him so easily.
He shifted a little and winced as he bumped his wings against the wall. That part he was ashamed of the most--what good was an angel that couldn't fly?
He had to fight to stop himself from laughing. His wings didn't even work properly anyway. Besides, it certainly didn't stop him from being a badass.
Him and Pit...
He couldn't understand how Ralsis had mistaken him for his light counterpart. He figured that he simply wasn't familiar with him, but still. You'd think the evil mastermind would work more on researching his future hostage.
He wondered for a moment what Pit was doing now. He had stopped at Palutena's temple for a little bit before Ralsis kidnapped him, so he might've noticed he was missing--but he knew that even if he did, there would be no way he could rescue him where he was.
He smirked as he stared at the manacles on his wrists. Like he needed him for this anyway--he could break out easily on his own.
Just had to wait for the opportune moment...

A bright flash of green had engulfed Aiman at that point- she had healed herself spotless, her eyes burning with rage. Taking the time to remember what she heard, she burst open the door, leading into another hallway. "Stupid maggot! When I find you I'm going to use your blood to polish my-"
By some unseen force, Aiman was suddenly on the ceiling- landing face first as though she was commanded by gravity. "Little... b**ch," she cursed, managing to stand upright. She looked down (if it can even be considered down, since she's on the ceiling) at her feet, noticing a trail of violet energy set in a path.
"Looks like a magnetic trap..." she observed, pointing her fingers at it. "...no, deactivating it would just give me another bruise hidden behind my hair. Guess I need to follow it..." Though it was against her better judgement, Aiman followed the lit path through the hallway, trying to figure out who could've done something like this. The remainder of the path was straight, so she looked up (if that's even "up." Looks down to me).
"I have to hand it to the little twerp," Aiman sighed, honestly impressed. "Being able to control electricity without batting an eye... that takes a lot of ski-iiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!"
Thud-SKRRRRZZT!
That was the sound of Aiman not noticing that the path left off at a huge hole, landing head first in a spark trap- a rotating emblem of electricity in the ground. Not only was she tenderized, she was fried. Like a weird excuse for a steak. "That little MMMMMMMMGH!" the brunette exclaimed, picking herself off of the ground. As upset as she was, she didn't even notice that someone had hidden herself nearby, waiting for her to land in the trap. "She is SO-!"
----------
"Ugh... what the..." Aiman groggily woke up from her unexpected nap, all kinds of sore. feeling an itch in her nose, she attempted to scratch it... until she realized that her hand wasn't moving. Or most of her body, for that matter.
She immediately looked down to see herself draped in violet energy- stuck to the wall. ...while also realizing she had relieved herself in her sleep, driving her into a deep blush. "AUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH! Where are you?! When I get free I am going to MURDER you! Murder you and drape your corpse through the halls and leave you rotting in the janitors closet! I don't care if you're electric powers make me run in reverse for hours- I AM KILLING YOU AND BLEEDING YOU DRY! DRYER THAN A DESERT BONE!!!"
She would've just made herself free, but something wasn't working right- apparently, said electrical power could also disable the target's power. "Smart little imp... whoever it is must be some kind of genius..."
"I am a genius! A child genius!" Aiman's eyes grew wide.

Suddenly, the loudspeakers crackled to life with Ralsis' voice.
"Aiman, can you come back to my office for a moment? I have something I want to discuss with you."

It had been about five minutes since Aiman had made visual contact with Mary- long enough for her eyes to be glued shut by electrical paralasis and the rest of her body (apparently excluding her mouth) to be deactivated for a solid hour, topped by her current magnetic field containment only being able to last a few more minutes. By the time Ralsis had contacted her, she had stopped trying to resist, getting tired of yelling insults that would make Princess look like a saint.
Hearing his voice, she stirred. "Sorry, Ralsis, I'm stuck in place at the moment. Some little twerp with blue eyes blindsided me," Her voice sounded a bit hoarse. "I'm not far from the dining room- she said something about my magnetic prison disabling in a few-"
THUD. "UUUGH! Get over here! I'm finding it hard to breath with my nose against the floor!"

Already we have an intruder. It must be a record, Ralsis thought as he ran down the hallway to Aiman's location.
Ralsis had a feeling that CRL hadn't sent anyone up yet. Maybe one of the freelancers on the island hadn't believed his message and decided to come up to see what was what.
Odds are that they would be thrown out the airlock within the hour.
Ralsis wasn't entirely sure what to make of this scenario.
Aiman was currently spreadeagled on the ground, struggling to move while grunting in annoyance.
Needless to say, Ralsis was a bit puzzled.
"No doubt I'm going to get a convoluted answer if I ask..." he muttered.

Aiman's eyes were shut tight, but she heard him coming. "I'm paralyzed, da**it!" she cussed, weezing a bit more. "Flip me over! My nose can't take much- aaah..." Being unable to move her neck, her nose was bolted to the ground. Steadily starting to bleed. Her breaths became quieter, her eyes twitching, due to being closed. "H...help..."

Ralsis ceremoniously flipped her over with his foot. A loud crackling sound was heard as she landed on her back.
"Feeling better?" he snarked.

"Umph! Aside from my body twisting in every direction, yes," she snarked right back. "Ugh, I can't believe I underestimated the little runt. All that got me was the innability to move my body at all." She took a few, deep breaths, at least thankful for that. "Don't ask where she went- she darted off after shutting my eyes."

Ralsis had already picked a random direction and started walking as soon as she finished talking. "Good to know. I'll be back with our guest in a few minutes."
He ignored Aiman's yells of protest.

"Hey! HEEEEY! Don't underestimate that little- (hack)-!!!"
-----
Skittering around, barefoot as she was, Mary's path wasn't letting up for a moment. She liked the cold feel of metal on her soles, after all. Reminded her of home. Slow as she was moving, she did manage to notice something out of the corner of her eye- and it looked dangerous.
"...is that... a bomb...?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. It is."
Ralsis held his sword to her throat as he snuck up on her. "One move, and you're dead. Now, how did you get up here?"
He was rather certain that he could easily slit her throat if she so much as twitched. Unless she can come back from the dead...that would be a bit of a problem.
