Ehehehe.
Hi guys.
So... yeah, sorry I haven't been around as often. I've just learned that our two main mods have left and that we're in a serious need of more to replace them.
So!
Since this won't be an easy decision to make, let's narrow this down. If you're interested in being a mod (duties include accepting character apps, moving finished/abandoned threads, enforcing forum and chat rules, etc), respond to this post with your interest and why you feel you'd be worthy of it. We've had a history of bad mods (the two that left are NOT examples, they just moved on to their own endeavors), so this is just an extra step in the promoting process to ensure we promote the right people.

I'm interested.
I am new to the whole mod thing, but I'm willing to try. While my post count may not say so, I have been on since 2008 (with on and off periods, but in late 2009 I decided to stay for good). I have read the rules and try my best to follow them. You have all made me more mature I feel. If made a mod, I promise to preform all duties related to the position.
Samples: *Approving an app: "Approved!" (Move to Accepted thread) *Part of app is confusing: I will simply ask the poster for some clarification before deciding. *Overpowered app and at least one other feels that way (Canons who are that overpowered in their franchise are excluded): "I will kindly ask for your character to be toned down before approval." English is borderline or completely unreadable: "(name), I understand if English is not your first language. However, we ask that you keep this looser writing style to the Cbox. Thank you very much." *New person: "Hello! Welcome to Dimensional Clash! All we ask is that you follow the rules and be polite." *First strike: "Sir/madam, that action has broken a site rule. You have one strike. Thank you kindly." *Second strike: "(name), that action has broken a site rule. You have to strikes. Be careful." *Third strike" "(Name), this serves as the third time an action of your's has violated a site rule. This is your third and final strike. One more violation of the site rules and I will be forced to ban you." *Banning on fourth offence: "(Name), you have been warned three times. This is strike four. Thus, according to site rules, I must ban you." (The strikes can banning can also apply to the Cbox, except for banning, of which the request shall be sent to NN1) *Same user applied for multiple characters: Approve one by one, starting with the oldest. *Dealing with bots: Delete posts, ban bot account, move on. *Disagreement between users: Hear both ends out separately (via PM or private Chatango) and come to an agreement.
I try to visit this site at least once a day. Even though I will be a senior in high school, I will try to check this site at least once a day.

I am interested as well.
While I have not had any previous moderator experience, I am very willing to work with people and can be firm yet fair, and I like to think that I can mediate in an argument and judge with an even hand. I know the rules and do everything I can to follow them. I may have little experience as far as years go, having only been here about a year and a month, but I feel that I am capable of handling the position of moderator. Even though I'm a college student and will be returning this fall, I tend to browse the forum frequently during my free time.

I know I have made it clear that I didn't want to be a moderator in the past, but if the position is open and it needs to be filled, I am also interested.
I have been on this site for almost three years now give or take, and have seen the site in it's second year onwards, and, while I haven't read the rules, I have a deep understanding of how it works, and follow them accordingly. I know how to moderate somewhat due to Apocalyptical Reach, a forum a former member here created, and I know how to moderate on fair terms, such as with character creation, among other things.
So yeah, also, I try to visit this site once a day. So I'd easily be able to keep ahead of everything going on.

I would be interested in this position
I've been around for I think around 3 years? It would be pretty awesome to mod for DC, and i wouldn't mind doing it. I tend to hang around a lot, so i could get to the applications that needs to be checked up on, and I'll usually keep the chatbox open in case if anything happens. If someone needs help I will probably try to help them out, but if I can't I'll refer to another admin who might know how to do something. I know majority of the rules, so i can enforce em.
I'll be having school next week however, but I can use my ipod touch to check up the forum itself.

Alright, so we've got SWL, Shades, TSI, and Gantz (maybe.)
You know, I think that's a good number! Three new mods with an extra on standby would be really helpful!
So, as long as no one objects, I'll promote the three of you to Global Moderator, and recruit Gantz only if we need him.
Everyone cool with that?

While I'd say yes, I know my tendencies to get lazy with things and the fact that I have other projects. So yeah, I'll just stick to RPing for now. Not that I don't care of course but I'd like to ease back into this place anyway and see if I stick around cause I honestly do miss it *shrug*

Okay, since this topic is out of date, I feel it should either be locked or moved somewhere. I'll lock it for now.
