Full Name: Yin
Nicknames: Seraph of Heroes, keeper of Balance (Along with her brother Yang)
Age: (She is an angel so it’s possible she’s existed as long as most angels.)
Height: 7 foot 4
Weight: Not telling.
Gender: Female
Race: Angel (Though she is pretty powerful, making some think she’s become a kind of seraph.)
Alliance: Good
Home: The Temple of Balance
Franchise: Misadventures of Arcadia Valley
Physical Description: A tall, willowy figure with long pure white hair. She has an almost natural beauty to her that fits her as an angel. She is often seen wearing a heavenly white robe, though in the very rare times she’s seen outside the temple she is seen in the same orange and yellow robes that the sect of Monks Wally was a part of wore. Gentle and serene, her eyes are deep blue like the skies above.
Weapons: None, though her powers over the element of light is impressive to be sure.
Abilities/Powers: Like Wally, whom inherited her powers through a piece of magicite that contained a piece of her aura, Yin is the undisputed master of Light Bending, and calls upon all sources of light and warmth for her own power. This includes photons, fire, lightning, and the holy element itself. In essence, her abilities are the same as Wally’s, only with thousands of years worth of training and experience, making her pretty damn tough to beat in a fight. It is because of this that she COULD be called an Angel of Light herself (A title earned by Double D).
Skills: Besides acting as the guardian of the balance of good and evil, she has the ability to fly through the air, and can also write very well; in fact it was Yin that crafted the story of the Seven Star Children for the legends of Arcadia Valley, after leading Polaris to the seven wayward stars personally.
Personality: Kind, gentle, and motherly are three good words that describe Yin, though she has been known to have a temperament when something unfair is happening in front of her. Because of that, she has been labeled something of a mother hen, though, this has more to do with wanting justice done for all sentient beings. Next to that, she has an undying trust and love for said living beings (Though it will be a VERY long time before it ever matches God above), and always tries to find a better way to fix problems then killing (Unlike her brother Yang, who WILL kill somebody if he absolutely has to).
History: At the beginning of time itself, when God himself crafted the first world, ‘Earth Prime’, he also created the angels, for which to serve his good will. Lucifer’s rebellion was truly the kick off point however, as some of the angels chose to believe Lucifer and follow him, however those that did were branded as fallen angels, and when Lucifer was cast down into the pits of Hell, all but one of his followers was sent down with him. It was because of one of the angel’s pleas that this was done, since the angel that pleaded for the angel’s release. It was a long fight, but eventually the angel that was known as Yang was allowed to return, much to Yin’s relief. This however came at a price; Yin and Yang were sent to another portion of the never ending multi-verse, where another world was created in the shadow of Earth Prime, a world that Yin and Yang watched after as human’s as it grew.
Many thousands of years came and gone as Yin and Yang continued to live as human’s amongst the people of this unsuspecting world. After thousands of years had passed, and the Star Children had left for space, to be taken in by Polaris, God visited the world that Yin and Yang lived on. Yin’s unending love and unquestioning faith had allowed her the chance by God himself to ascend to the rank of a kind of guardian angel. She readily took on the job given to her by the great deity, becoming one of the first Angel’s of Light in existence (though not the first most prominent, since Double D had been a human his entire life and not an angel previously). Before ascending however, she pleaded with the god above that Yang may have a similar rank increase. Since Yin asked this only in sisterly love for her brother, and Yang had repented for his wrongdoings over the thousands of years, it was agreed, and they became angels of balance, charged with looking after the world they had lived on for so long. For many years, Yin and Yang watched over the world keeping the balance in perfect check…
For a time anyways…
Many many years later, Yin took notice of a sect of Monks that had hoped to reach for the heavens and join the celestial beings in eternal paradise, trying unsuccessfully to do so with enlightenment. Feeling sorry for them, Yin proposed to send down a small sign to help them on their way, a proposition Yang was completely against, knowing what could happen if something went wrong. Refusing to listen, Yin placed on the earth two powerful spheres containing a piece of her and her brother’s aura so the monks could find this enlightenment…
That plan backfired remarkably, and the monks took the sign as sign that they should purge the world of evil, ruining the balance that the two angels had worked so hard to keep. Thankfully they were stopped, though they were killed all the while. In the wake of the battle, two children and a psychotic madman was gifted with a portion of their abilities…
Looking at Wally as a sort of son, Yin overlooked the boy’s adventures from that point on, and has never looked at Arcadia Valley the same since, showing even more consideration and compassion then ever before.
Other: Essentially, Yin is the source of Wally’s power. If she was to die, Wally would lose all of his abilities, possibly dying himself in the process. Anyways, she manages to keep a close connection with Heaven so to contact the God above if something goes wrong.
