"Danger shmanger, I tangled with the likes of Him, Exdeath, and others. I even fought Zero once already and had him on the ropes. I'm not about to let this idiot run pell mell all over the place." Gantz pulls out Soul Calibur and holds her at the ready. "Ready Soul?"
"It's about time you asked. I've been looking forward to round two for hours." The energy let out a slight pulse. "But just because I feel the need, let us not forget that this man doesn't JUST have the power of Soul Edge on his side. If I touch that bracelet, I'll end up no better then Soul Edge when he was mutated. Being turned into something like that would certainly ruin my day...."
Gantz nodded before looking to Jaron and Kavma. "Well let's get going. Time to go Zero hunting." He knew that line was lame, but he knew his point was made as he rushed past Kavma and Jaron. "Well?? Let's go! Lead the way!"

“Hey, don't run ahead, wait for me!” Jaron exclaimed as he tried to keep up.
Raleigh huffed as he followed. “Why do you people NEVER listen to me?”
“Might be because we don't like you,” Jaron said helpfully.
“Thank you for making it sound depressing.”
“...sorry...”
“I want every squad covering all possible exits, lock down ANYTHING he might use to escape, windows, mouse holes, I don't care WHAT!” Evan continued to bark orders into his earpiece as he, his squad and Alex ran down the hallway in pursuit of the intruder.
“Why does today SUCK so much?!” Gerald complained as he jumped over some Red Heartless, Shantotto following behind with amusement.
Max ignored his complaints. He wouldn't—COULDN'T—come to the same conclusion that Evan had.
It was only a matter of time until the inevitable wake up call.
“Princess has been secured, we're sealing all possible routes as we go,” Miranda reported into her earpiece. Her men were currently ripping the Red Heartless a superfluous new behind in the background.
“Is this actually going to stop Zero?” said the agent on the other end.
“With our track record, he'll probably be able to phase through walls, but we're not taking any chances.”
There was a sickening crack as the guard dropped to the floor, neck broken. Zero made a point to step HARD on his head as he walked through the door.
“Rather harsh,” said his new companion—said in the tone of someone discussing the weather, for added creepiness points.
Zero ignored her. The room beyond was filled with containment units and monitoring equipment. He payed no attention to the contents of any of them but one, however.
Soul Edge, still in the same sword form it had been in when wielded by Zero earlier, lay suspended in its tank. From the look of things, it was completely dormant.
“How do we open it?” Zero asked.
“Not the slightest idea,” his companion replied, keeping an eye out at the door, “push some buttons or something.”
Zero settled for punching the glass.
“Well, that works,” she snarked as the alarm went off.
“They already know I'm loose,” Zero pointed out as he grabbed the sword, “no point in being subtle.”
The sword came to life as soon as Zero's hand gripped the handle. Glowing red hot, the eye growing on its hilt burst open, moving about wildly.
“WHAT IS THIS?!” it demanded. When the eye noticed Zero, it relaxed slightly. “Ah. You escaped, I see. Not a small feat. How'd you do it?”
“Does it matter?” Zero asked. The sword wasn't his gauntlet, but at least he could use it as a weapon. As he put the sword into his belt, he asked, “Do you know where they put my other things?”
“Not at all, I'm afraid. They deemed fit to place your additional weaponry elsewhere.”
“Fucking figures.” Zero turned to his companion. “Alright, do—”
She was nowhere in sight.
“God DAMMIT.”

Gantz, Jaron and Raleigh ran down the hall with Raleigh's agent right behind them giving a detailed report. "Okay so, Zero's apparently free and running around and we have KAITLIN to thank for that, go figure, we have weird red creatures onboard posing as Heartless, PRINCESS is on board, but thankfully captured..." He groans loudly. "And Thaddeus is just all around being an ass, is that about the size of it?"
"I know I should not be impressed with this being since it's causing so much chaos and destruction, but you have to admit, it's turned a central of order and control into a central of rampant insanity within the span of a few minutes. For as much as we should hate the beast, I can't help but be impressed...."
With another groan, Gantz stopped catching the others attention. "STOP." He looks to the others. "Okay, first things first. We need to get to the gauntlet before Zero does. NO MATTER WHAT, we have to make sure that gauntlet doesn't get back in his hands. If it does we'll be right back where we started." He looks to Raleigh. "Raleigh. WHERE exactly did you put the Gauntlet?"
-----------------------------------------------
"He went this way!!! Quick!! After him!!!!"
About the time Zero had noticed his friend was gone, Rosaline and Lucas appeared at the doorway. "Here you are-" She saw Soul Edge...... "Well shit...."
Instantly she shut the door and scrambled to the buttons trying to lock it.

At the question, Raleigh promptly reached into his coat and took it out. “It's right here with me.”
He waited as the others reacted.
“Well, where did you THINK I would put it? I'd prefer to keep an eye on it rather than have my men guard it, and though I have faith in them, this is Thadeus we're dealing with.”
Satisfied that he got the point across, he continued, “Now that we've established that Zero would at least have a hard time getting it back, we should not disregard Soul Edge. That, at least, we kept under guard, so Zero is more likely to recover it first. I'd rather you refrain from desiring combat with him, Ms. Calibur, we have other things to worry about at the moment.”
He ignored her complaints as he turned to Jaron. “You, though, I'd rather—Jaron?” His tone sharpened. “What's the matter?”
Jaron was looking down, a look of what he could only assume was a combination of shock, fear and denial on his face.
Oh, right. Kaitlin had been mentioned...
There was a single second in which Zero, Rosaline and Lucas exchanged glances.
“QUICK, LOCK THE DOOR!” Lucas yelled as Zero lunged.
There was a loud thud as Zero collided with the steel. Cue cursing.
Lucas tried to steady his nerves. “How long is that gonna keep him?” he asked as Rosaline checked the controls.
Zero rolled his eyes as he readied Soul Edge. “Nice try.”
His next stab showed that his Star Wars-cut-open-the-door-with-a-lightsaber trick...wasn't very adequate as the sword BOUNCED off of the wall with a gooooong.
“...why does that not surprise me in the slightest?” Soul Edge grumbled.
Zero's response was more profanity. All the soap in the world could not wash his mouth out.

Thankfully for Rosaline, it was simple to find the Locking mechanism. Apparently CRL had seen such a situation coming when someone who was utterly panicking would need to find the lock and would need a big spelled out button. Pushing the lock button, Rose let out a breath. "If that cursing fit is any indication, he might be stuck in there for a while...."
She quickly jumps back and preps her sword. "Get ready though! Knowing our luck he may get out of there at any time somehow."
---------------------------------------------------
Back with Gantz, Jaron and Raleigh...
"Wait WHAT-?" Gantz had to stop himself before he could finish that sentence. He supposed he should have figured Raleigh would be smart enough to not let the Gauntlet out of his sight. Score one for the good guys.
Still that didn't help Jaron any....
He put a hand on Jaron's shoulder. "Don't worry kid. We'll get Kaitlin back. You'll see."
"Of course we'll get her back."
The bunch looked to find Tarosuke quickly joining them. "I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but if Zero gives you trouble, just leave him to me. My Kii attacks should be enough to keep the little psycho back."

Zero stared at the door in consternation. “The hell did they make this door out of?!”
He kicked at it in frustration. “OPEN THIS DOOR, YOU HEAR ME?! I'LL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF AND BEAT YOU WITH IT!!!”
“Death threats aren't going to encourage them to do your bidding,” Soul Edge snarked.
“Now. Is not. THE TIME.”
The prospect of fighting Zero was not what Lucas would call appealing. He gulped as he gripped his weapon, stepping back towards Rosaline and away from the door.
“Might be a good idea to get some of those agent guys to help...” he said nervously.
Jaron had no idea how much more he could take. On top of everything else happening, what he had just learned about Kaitlin came VERY CLOSE to pushing him over the edge. It took a lot of effort for him not to start hyperventilating.
Though, the fact that he still couldn't remember her seemed to help. Odds are if he did he'd be tearing through the ship at that very second.
...somehow that thought made him feel worse.
Gantz's hand on his shoulder was comforting, though. He looked at him gratefully. “Thanks...”
Any further unnecessary angsting Jaron might've had was interrupted by Tarosuke's entrance. “Tarosuke? You're alive!”
“At least he's out of the Prinny suit,” Raleigh quipped. “I trust you're up to speed? Why are you alone?”
