Physical Description
Fennel's body type can be described as "fairy"- humanoid with small wing-like structures and a typically small body. She wears three layers of clothing- a Dark Blue vest with a Dark Green emblem on the back (a four pointed club- the symbol for wind), an orchid/ dark purple shirt with a symbol similar to an Omega (upside down though it may be), and a Maroon/dark red dress under it all, with a somewhat circular design, with an arch on either side of the dress.
Her curly loches are a dark shade of pink- muave, and the majority is covered by a jester like cap stitched together at the back- it's orchid in the front, and Maroon in the back, tipped by a pair of Wave Bells. The rim of her hat is decorated in gold- with a crownlike symbol in the front, representing her status as a Midlun- the most powerful Lowen. Around her neck is a collar holding a light green gem- her power gem, which is the main reason for her elemental powers. The collar itself is a dark brownish color, while her skin tone is peach.
Also, her eyes are the color of her element- light green, but her wings are a soft white.
Weapons
The aforementioned Wave Bells on her cap, currently the "Angel's Chimes," double as blasters- occasionally, the connecting cloth will expand with air before releasing an attack.
Abilities/Powers
Exceptional ability over wind- being crafted directly by Winris, this comes as no surprise. Along with being able to manipulate wind as a form of levitation, her skillset includes:
Gale Shot: a blast of wind energy from her wave bells- can be rapid fired
Typhoon Blitz: A large gust of ongoing wind energy, similar to a flamethrower made of wind. She can fire two at once.
Twin Typhoon: A combination of two simultanious Typhoon Blitz attacks- It takes twice the usual energy to execute, but an additional third to keep focused. Otherwise, she'd just make a powerful gust of air.
Typhoon Wave: A failed Twin Typhoon. Can be seen as similar to "Whirlwind," sending foes flying, but not much else.
Sacred Wind: a forcefield of wind that can reduce damage of any elemental attack but electricity- can completely absorb other wind attacks and incorporate the energy in her next move. Doesn't work against Physical moves or heavy projectiles.
Cyclone Headbutt: A physical move- she creates a wave of wind around her head and charges into the foe- it's especially jarring when she's spinning with it, or using her Wave bells to speed up.
Zephyr Spite: A supermove- can only be used when her Hype is maxxed out- it's so powerful a twisted, horned dragon of some form materializes itself from the air around her, then mercilously lashes at the foe.
Gust: A last ditch attack she uses if her cap is removed- she relies on lung power to attack, which can leave her in the shape of a little fairy balloon.
She lacks any healing abilities, instead having to rely on her body's own regeneration.
Skills
She's capable of flight, whether she uses her wings to float or not all depends on how she's feeling. If her wings suddenly vanish, they're actually moving extremely fast, despite being feathery.
Personality
Although a real sweetheart to those who know her, and curtious to just about everyone else, Fennel can be close to dangerous when she's serious- When her eyes scrunch forward, expect to be in for a world of pain.
History
Approximately 510 years before the start of "Spiritual Successor" (Aerlosian year 2500), Winris, the current spirit of wind, was required to craft a lowen species to assist in her reign over the planet Aerlos. This meant first designing a powerful being- a Midlun- to serve as the model for smaller, less powerful Lowens. What Winris had crafted was a much younger, more ignorant and carefree version of the Sprite known as Fennel- and was known to be a trouble maker in her first 20 years on the job. However, when her antics had put a life in jeapordy, she changed- keeping her wild charges to a minimum, only acting out on specified islands.
In the year 2650, she had seemed to harbor a depression- one from not having anyone to truly relate to. All of the sprites shared similar appearances- being downright identical in most regards. But Fennel, being the only one of the Sprites of greater power, didn't have anyone to confine in specifically- Until Winris had caught wind of her depression, and, taking advice from her mother (the First Spirit of Aerlos), created a unique Sprite- a combination of a Messenger and Foot Soldier, giving Fennel a personal messenger- and a close friend.
Many Years later, She, her personal assistant (Jingle) and Winris's chosen vassal were witnesses to the birth of and close godparents to Winris's daughter, Bree. Eleven years after the child's birth (and her assistance in rectifying an age old conundrom), Fennel and Jingle finally took the time to watch over Castle Boreas and the rest of the Sprites, doing their best to enjoy themselves.
Other
As a Midlun, Fennel has a close relation to the other Midluns around her Universe- the soul exceptions being those of Light and Darkness, who keep themselves succluded.
She's also rarely seen without Jingle, who conviniently hides... somewhere in Fennel's personal space.
