Enigma brought a hoof to his chin, thinking a few seconds. "...I don't honestly remember." He took it back off and opened one of the sides. Poking his snout in, he pulled out a wooden sword, three notebooks, five quills and a large roll of parchment. He stared at the stuff, tilting his head slightly. "...I forgot...Pinkie gave me this bag...it works on some kind of strange logic...hammerspace, I think it's called?"
Sweetie reached into the other side and pulled out a book titled 'Body Language, Sarcasm and You'. She smiled playfully, holding the green book up. "You really need this?" She giggled, watching as the other pony's face gained two pink ovals on the cheeks.

"Hammerspace. Nice Fetch modus," she chuckled with the sleeping troll on her shoulder. "Nice book by the way."

Enigma stared at her blankly, confused. "...thanks, but...what's a fetch modus?" He patiently waited for an answer, though his wing was currently trying to gently take his book back from Sweetie's grip. She held onto it stubbornly, though, a cute pout on her face.

"A fetch modus is a type of storage device that is usually used with the sylladex and capatchalogue systems. It get's kinda confusing," Beth replied calmly.

Both ponies were staring at her in silence, their grips still on the book. Eventually, the dark red pegasus broke the silence. "...I see...so it's a kind of video game-style storage system..." He chuckled, shaking his head. "I suppose that makes sense. Well, as much as us all being here does, anyways."
Sweetie carefully took the book and began to read it, wondering why he needed it in the first place. Everything in the book was pretty much common sense, after all.

"You could say that," Beth replied. "Enigma. I don't mean to be rude but why do you have that book? Most of it is everyday things."

His expression soured, and he turned away, grumbling to himself. It was clear that it was a sore subject with him.
Sweetie, concerned, gently nudged his side. "...please, Enigma...you don't need to be sad..."
He looked at her, his ire appearing to slowly disappear. He sighed, shaking his head. "...no...it's a reasonable question..." He took a deep, shaky breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say. "...I have Aspergers Syndrome..."
Sweetie just looked at him, a small smile on her face. "...what's that?" Her clueless expression stayed, even as he facehoofed at what she said. It was clear that he couldn't be truly mad at her, though. She was too adorable for that.

Beth nodded. She bit her lip as to think as to how to explain it.

Enigma sighed, giving a small, strained smile to the filly. "...it's a mental handicap..." He rubbed the back of his head, frowning softly. "...I have some trouble with social interactions...but that's only one part of it..."
Sweetie sat silently, her eyes wide in surprise. "I had no idea. I'm sorry, Enigma."
"...it's fine...just..." The pegasus looks up at Beth, his eyes pleading. "...please don't ask me any more...I don't like talking about it..."

"I won't," she offered before patting his head gently. "So how many tickets have you won off the machines here?"

The pony put a hoof to his chin, thinking a little. "...I believe I've won five thousand tickets...off that one game, of course." He chuckled, beaming brightly. "I do leave after the machine runs out of tickets, though." He pats one of his saddlebags with a wing. "Every single one of them are in here."
Sweetie carefully returned the book to his bag, peeking inside to see just what else is in there. She couldn't really tell, though, as it was too dark for her to see.

"Dang. You're good," Beth complimented as she shifted Kyo's weight to her other arm. "Sleeping Alternian is a heavy Alternian."

Enigma tilted his head, thinking a bit. "...maybe I could carry him? He can't be heavier than my saddlebags..." He shrugged, sheepishly smiling. "...or maybe it'd be best if we find a place for you to put him down." He stepped to the side, successfully getting Sweetie to stop looking in his bag.

"That would be helpful," Beth replied. "And we'll have to see."
She looked to Enigma with a small smile honestly hoping that he was going to take Kyo.

Enigma, deciding that it would probably be best for him to take the troll from her - if only because she looked uncomfortable - moved over next to her, giving his best friendly smile to her. "Put him on my back. I'll carry him for you."
Sweetie, having moved over to the other side of Beth, watched in curiosity, silently wondering how they were going to keep the unconscious Kyobee from falling off the pegasus's back. She didn't say anything, though, deciding that they probably knew what to do. The only thing that really worried her was where they would take him.
