"We met a little before the events of the game. To tell the truth this is the first time we've met in person," she replied looking over to Kyobee and back to Sweetie. "You could ask him anything about me and he'd probably answer it right. Ask me about him and I could probably squeak by with the basic things."

She thought for a moment, frowning a bit. "I suppose that is a significant point." She looked up at Beth, confused. "Wait, how can he know more about you than you do about him?" She always believed that people who liked each other always shared info about each other equally.

"It was a game mechanic on his end," she replied not exactly knowing the answer either. "I think. I honestly don't know."
Beth looked over her shoulder to see if Kyobee had moved in line at all.

He was standing right behind her, an eyebrow quirked. "I believe it's called a time slider, Madame Beth." He held the frosty out to her, smiling softly. "If you wanted to know more about me, you could've just asked."
Sweetie busied herself with her fries, trying to draw attention away from herself.

"How long were you standing there?" she squeaked as she accepted the frosty. "I didn't want to seem nosey."

"About the time Miss Sweetie asked why I knew more about you than you did about me." He sat down next to her, placing a hand on top of hers. "You can always ask me anything, Madame Beth." He smiled softly, gently squeezing her hand.
Sweetie grabbed a milkshake that was on the tray, holding it between her forehooves as she drank it. She watched the two of them talk, an air of curiosity about her.

"Okay," Beth replied with a small sigh of relief.
"First one that I've been wanting to ask was why did you choose to troll me out of the hole session and not someone else?" she asked with a small spoonful of frosty about ready to go to her lips.

"Because you interested me." He leaned back, resting his head on the back of their seat. "A human who thought of others before herself. Who had her heart on her sleeve, and arms wide open." He chuckled, shaking his head. "I must sound like a right wolly, spouting out what I can only assume are cliches."
Sweetie honestly didn't know what to say about that, but she decided that the vanilla shake she was drinking was the best thing ever. She softly began to hum to herself, closing her eyes and rocking a little to the music in her head.

"A few of them are but they make sense," Beth replied. "How much of my life did you watch on the time slider? And what was life like for you growing up on Alternia?"
That the first question was slightly odd but she meant well by it.

He thought for a moment, rubbing his chin in contemplation. "...honestly, I watched all of your life...I did turn away during more...personal...moments..." He blushed brightly, coughing a bit to rid himself of the awkwardness.
"As for growing up? I learned how to..." He glanced at the pony across from him, who was staring at him, fascinated. "...er...survive off the land." He chuckled, grabbing the needle that was still on the table. "I learned a few skills to help around the house, as well." He turned it back into a leaf, placing it in his fetch modus before making it vanish.
"I also met Rulett while I was out, one day." He smiled softly, remembering that time. "She was terrified, at first, but after we got to know each other, she was rather comfortable with me." He chuckled a bit, looking at Beth. "She was only ever a friend, though."

Beth blushed and nodded. "Ah. What was your lusus? Am I getting that word right?" she asked as she went to get another spoonful of her treat. "It's good that you and Rulett get along, Kyubii."
She occassionally looked up from her cold treat to Sweetie and Kyobee every now and then.

He chuckled at her nickname for him, blushing a bit more. "My lusus was closest to what your kind call a fox...though he also had eight more tails than they do." He looked at Sweetie, who was apparently pouting at the fact that she wasn't allowed to call him 'Kyubii'.

"Like a kitsune from Japanese myths?" she asked in a curious tone. "I bet he was cool to be around."

He smiled softly, understanding where she was coming from. "That would be correct, Madame Beth." He rested his head on his hand, staring off into the distance (at least it seemed that way, what with his squinty eyes). "He was a joy to have around...too bad he didn't make it..."

"I can relate. That game made everyone loose something or someone dear to them," Beth replied. "I'm sure he'd be proud of you. I know I would be."
She blushed a little at her last sentence.
"So where else are the three of us going to hit?" she asked the group as she tried to control the blush on her face.
