Abilities/Powers
The power to Fly. Yes, that is her power, but it has very unique properties; Reimu is extremely skilled at technical flying, and with her Last Word, can even temporarily fly away from reality. She also has the power to eat pretty much anything she wants without getting fat, though she doesn't have an unusual metabolism; that's due to the Orb's power.
Skills
Skill at cooking with unusual ingredients, budgeting (since she rarely gets a lot of monetary donations), and diplomacy (Gensokyoan diplomacy, anyway).
Personality
Reimu... is hardly a Knight in Shining Armor. In fact, she's often quite dour, not particularly enjoying having to often go off and resolve the incidents that crop up in Gensokyo. She can be quick to anger, but she's not a bad person. As a matter of fact, if you catch her on a good day, she's quite gentle. She does care about her friends, and she also cares about the wellbeing of Gensokyo. Sometimes a little lazy, but she always gets the job done.
History
Reimu has been the Hakurei Shrine Maiden since she was a young girl of 12 or so. Her mother, the previous Hakurei miko, was killed by an oni named Konngara when she was younger than that, leaving Reimu to take on the role of the Hakurei Maiden. She's fought in and resolved most of the incidents that afflicted Gensokyo, though as of late, she hasn't had as much opportunity; with the last incident, dealing with the resurrected Prince Shotoku (as a female known as Toyosatomimi no Miko) resolved, boredom overcame the Maiden. She knew that Marisa and Michael had left Gensokyo for that... Dimensional Island place, and she went to Yukari, telling her that she was going there as well, in no uncertain terms. While Yukari really didn't want her to go, so as not to put the Great Hakurei Border keeping Gensokyo from the outside world at risk, Reimu would have none of it; eventually, she wore Yukari down to the point of letting her go.
Other
If Reimu dies, the Great Hakurei Border will likely shatter unless Yukari works to keep it up or she is resurrected. She is connected to the Border.
