Such a lovely day it was... the trees were dark and the cemetery creepy... wait a minute...
"...What in the world?" Squigly blinked a few times, rubbing her eyes. "This doesn't look like New Meridian... Leviathan, what happened?"
The skeletal dragon parasite shook his head and looked around. "I... am afraid that I do not know, m'lady..."
The zombie girl was quite confused. "...Does this mean... there's a Skullgirl about?" That was what brought her from the grave after all, but...
"I cannot sense a Skullgirl's power, nor the Skull Heart. This is... most curious."

There was only so much one person could really take when it came to stress. Some people had very short limits while others felt like they could go on forever regardless of the seemingly daunting task ahead of them...
Barbara however, no matter how odd it felt to her, felt like she couldn't much stand waiting around any longer. So the next time a portal appeared in the Glade of Dreams, she rushed through it; not stopping to consider the consequences, not stopping to consider what Grand Minimus, Goth Teensy, Polokus or anyone else might think.
She missed Rayman and Globox, and she swore she wasn't going to come back home until she found them.
When the portal opened up on the other side, Barbara rushed through letting out a battlecry. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!! HERE I COOOOOOOOOME!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She never processed rushing out of the portal, nor did she process running over someone on her way out. When her brain caught up with her running body, she put on the brakes and found herself in a cemetery.
"..... Huh... Ahm I in the land of the Livid Dead." She rolled her eyes, "Oh cor... This is definitely not gonna be a fun trip. I really hope no grahnnies show up outta nowhere. I can't stand the lot."
Sure they were EXCELLENT with a guitar, but even still.....

"Wha!"
Squigly yelped in surprise as she was run over by the barbarian girl; Leviathan tried to snap at her as she plowed Squigly over, but gave a choked yelp as she trampled over him as well.
"O..Oww..." The zombie girl sat up, rubbing her head. "Hey! Be more careful!" She stood up, frowning heavily, hands on her hips.

Barbara quickly turned when she heard that new voice appear from out of nowhere somewhere behind her. Quickly turning, the Barbarian princess jumped up in surprise. "HOLY HELL! Would ya look at ya?" She gets into a defensive pose as she approaches, her duel bladed axe held at the ready. "Hmmmm.... Never seen anythin' quite lyke you before lahss."
She notices Leviathan and grins. "Oh wow! Ya tamed yerself a dragon! Y'm mighty impressed lahss! Sure it's a tiny little fella, but ya still tamed a dragon." Her axe slowly came up and poked Leviathan in the side of the head. The motion seemed curious, and certainly not malicious. "Hmmm... But if ya don't mynd me askin' why's it tied ta yer head?"
Obviously Barbara had not made the connection that Squigly was, in fact, dead, and was more then willing to guess that she just didn't get out in the sun too much. The fact that she had her mouth stapled shut was something the Viking had been willing to overlook since the voice likely came out of her. Perhaps she was just seeing things on that end.
Still, no matter which way you approach this scenario, it certainly looked like Barbara meant no harm. In fact, any malicious air had been all but lost when she started prodding Leviathan curiously, even if it was with the point of her axe.

Leviathan let the barbarian girl poke him for maybe three times before snapping at it with his teeth. "That's quite enough!" As he snapped, it likely became easier to see that the little dragon was, in fact, connected inside her head and coming out through holes in the zombie girl's noggin.
Squigly, meanwhile, was simply too perplexed at the girl's behavior and style of dress to say anything at first. When she did speak, she said "Um... Leviathan's been in my family for a long time. My name is Sienna Contiello, but most folks call me 'Squigly'. Who are you?" Of course, as she spoke, her mouth didn't move.

Barbara jumped back in surprise when Leviathan tried to snap at her. Grinning a bit, she was about to respond with her own attack before she noticed that the 'dragon' was, in fact, attached to the girl's head. That was DEFINITELY odd.
She supposed it was a good thing she liked weird!
"Squigly eh?" She grinned a bit. "Name's Barbara, but eryone' back home calls meh Barbs." She grins as she puts away her axe. "I gotta say, yer a weird lookin' thing ain'tcha? Though I guess that makes sense. We ARE in the Land of the Livid Dead..." ..............
She looks around. "I think."
In all likelihood, this woman was just as lost as Squigly was it seemed...

Squigly wasn't sure whether to be insulted by her comment or not. It was a toss-up, really. As it was, she scratched behind one of Leviathan's ears to calm him down. The skeletal dragon seemed to relax fairly effectively afterward, so that was one possible issue averted.
"Land of the... did you say Livid? I assure you, I'm far from that. Dead, yes. Livid, not really. I don't really know where this is, Miss Barbara; this is nothing like my home of New Meridian, either."

............ "Well, I guess ya don' look like them skeleton Grannies that live in the LLD..." She thinks a bit about this. "But if that's the case where in bloody ell' am I then?" She looked back around the cemetery.... Finally she noticed what looked like a city not too far away. "Hmmmm..... Well, I guess thaht there's a good place ta' start findin' some ahnswers..." She looked back to Squigly grinning airily. "Anyways, yer an interestin' girl Squigs! Nice meetin' ya!"
She rapidly started jumping from foot to foot. "Sorry, but I need to find my pal Ray!"

Leviathan leaned into Squigly's ear. "She's unusual but doesn't appear to be dangerous, m'lady. Perhaps if we helped her we could find something out about this area."
Squigly nodded, smiling. "Thank you, Miss. Barbara. If I may ask, may I help you out with finding your friend? I don't know where I am either and I wouldn't mind finding out."

At the request, a wide grin appeared on the Viking Princess' face and she nodded. "Well if ya wanna I won't stop ya!" She stopped jumping from foot to foot and crossed her arms. "Just keep in mind though, I'm a runner! So yew'll need ta keep up with me!"
She adjusted a lock of her orange curly hair. "Let's head ta the city! We're bewnd ta find anythin' in there! Haha!"
With that said, she takes off running. It was notable that her running speed was pretty impressive.
-----------------------------------
What the two didn't know however was that they were being watched and subsequently followed.
"Hmmmmm.... An interesting combination to make an interesting team... I can't help but wonder what this combination could bring to my little scheme."
She chuckles as she follows after them.

Squigly could not run in that dress. It would be foolish to try. That said, however, the zombie girl did have a means to keep up. She chuckled lightly as Leviathan reached his head to the ground. Squigly jumped, reaching her hands forward, as the parasite bone dragon breathed a little flame, which gave Squigly some thrust forward. She managed to keep up fairly well.
Despite them being followed, Leviathan couldn't really see whoever was tailing them.
