Physical Description
Todd is the kind of guy to wear t-shirts and jeans but his first day into the game was another event in his world. Sadly not a joyous one so he was wearing a black dress suit and a dark purple dress shirt as he was to be a pole bearer for his grandfather Ross’ funeral.
Once in the suit didn’t last long as he soon changed out to be in a gray shirt with his symbol- two bass clefs facing each other in an odd pine green, jeans and old tennis shoes that had been through 2 conventions back in his home state.
Todd is a pale skinned guy with dark reddish brown hair that he usually keeps pulled back in a simple pony tail. His once bright teal eyes now are darkened and seem to be losing their spark. Also has several tattoos- a blue kitsune on his back, one of kanji saying ‘hope’ that has been slashed through on his shoulder, a few other symbols from a game he played before SBURB and something that reminded him of each of his friends over his heart.
In his God Tier- he yet again wears a suit. Though this one is in a decent chocolate for the main part. His hood more of a dark brown hat. Pale violet dress shoes, which he still doesn’t seem to understand. On the blazer he has his red symbol for blood on the lapel and the pocket. The shirt under the blaze is a dark chocolate color. Unlike his female counter part, he carries a striped handkerchief that pokes out of the poke that would match her leggings.
Weapons
Note all Violas are sound based with attacks!
Mother’s Gift- His starting viola- a stringed instrument made of wood- given to him by his mother. Uses the bow to slash at opponents and can created harmful tunes from his instrument if in battle
Ross’s Rhapsody- his second viola during the game. His grandfather died just before the game was started. This was created with some of the ashes from his grandfather and a few purple things. Has a habit of playing it for no reason at all just to distract himself from the world around him.
Reaper’s Requiem- A viola of charred wood with a Skull making up most of the body. The tones are somber and chilling as they are played by his hands. And jokingly the bow to this viola is shaped like a scythe. Keeps it hidden away since it’s from a darker time in his life.
Crystallized Cantata- Made from the crystals of his Losai. The sound is pure and strong as the crystals that make it. Though it is heavy it is sturdier than his other violas and can be used as a bludgeoning weapon. Bow is a large wand of crystal- presumed to be diamond.
Talos’ Tango- Created after his fight with his world’s denizen Talos. The sounds seem to summon odd rivets of blood that will act like snakes and attack his opponents. Seems to look like it’s made of gears and springs. The sounds actually sound like gears grinding together so Todd never uses this viola. It’s strictly a display piece.
Derse’s Dirge- Created after his last night on Derse before coming to DI. He had a few small pieces of the tower where he stayed on Derse. Again this dark based viola gives off more eerie vibes as he plays. The obsidian body is dense but light. The glass like form hums as it is played with a miniature version of the King’s scepter.
Abilities/Powers
As his session’s Witch of Blood Todd can and loves to fly. He also loves the irony of having a female role.
He is also a more vampiric version of a Witch. Being able to strengthen or break bonds didn’t really float his boat, so to say. Loves to mess with and use blood to heal, his team mates, or harm imps.
Can also see the bonds between people. Each is a different color to him.
Fray Motifs-
Hand of Blood - Healing buff that also slightly strengthens the bonds between Todd and the person that it is being used on. Drains health from opponents.
Blood Brothers - His one real buff that strengthens all allies within range and the bonds they have
In My Blood- An actual attack that the Blood class can use but is more of a two edged sword. By using the user’s own blood to attack foes it causes slight damage to them as well. Sometimes the Witch of Blood is known to use another being’s blood-mostly imp- to do the attacking as so not to harm himself but it never ends up working as it should. (see Beth’s Creek Mary’s Blood)
Skills
Plays his instruments to fight or as entertainment for his team. Can also sing.
Decent at puzzles and loves to play them.
Personality
Pre SBURB- Up beat like his female counterpart. Always curious.
Post- Like his female counterpart the game did a number on him. He rarely smiles now. And always wears a straight face. Seems to be more reserved.
History
As stated earlier the game started on the day of his grandfather’s funeral. Todd has been through hell and back with thinking those he grew close to during the game are dead as the scratch had started in his session when he had been pulled into DI.
Much like his female counter part- The game shook up the young adult male and honestly thinks the game was a mistake.
Other
Each of his violas can fit in a case and be carried that way. Only has one case and they all fit it.
Also as to why Todd is an Emerick and not a Snider- Simple matter of maiden name. Beth's Mother would be the same as Todd's Father. And like wise with the other parent as well.
