The initial appearance of the brightly-charged net did its part to blind and disorient Jack, and soon enough it was on top of him, sending a thousand painful jolts through his current body and causing a mangled scream to erupt from his throat. The opportunity was nigh...
By the time Beth reached him/them, Patrick/Van/Ray was clawing at the inside of his own mouth in a ridiculous manner. He looked up at Beth, one eye pea green and one eye forest green, but speaking with the high-pitched tone of Patrick as he squeaked out a confused "Eh?"

Beth took a breath. "Do you remember the first night we met?" she asked. She knew she had to come clean now or it could end badly.

Cat smirked as she watched Jack scream and writhe about beneath her electrical net. The charge would only last for thirty seconds or so, but hopefully that was all the time these guys needed to finish the job. With the plan in motion, she held down a button on the center console of her suit, prompting a familiar tone. "Siri, eject me and take over controlling Cameron."
The intelligent personal assistant program beeped back at her and replied in its trademark female tone, "Engaging autopilot."
At her prompt, the glass shield was raised and Cat rocketed out of the suit, flipping through the air once before landing semi-gracefully and running down the hall towards the food court.
Mickey took pleasure in Jack's pain, only tearing his eyes away from the glorious sight to call out to Patrick or Ray or whoever he was, "Hey, Mr. Durden! If ya wanna do something about this guy, now's the time!"

Through his pained grunts from the electricity and the sharp whiteness that engulfed his vision, Jack tried to phase out of the net, but the shocks kept him from properly focusing his powers. All he could muster up was some rogue fireballs, not that they did his eyes any favors. Unable to help himself, he forced out the weak chuckle of a dying man, well aware of what was coming to him and completely unafraid to accept it.
"Such persistence... but don't think you've won. I'll always come back. I'll never be done."
"Of course I remember!" Patrick cheerfully insisted, as if oblivious to the fact that Ray was hitting him with one arm and Van was trying to restrain Ray with the other.

Beth looked back to Jack before looking to Rooke again. "At that time I had gone through what you're going to see with Todd. Him and I both have a kind of fail safe. But to activate it... we have to die. The reboot takes a little bit of time but that should give you enough time to beat the crap out of Jack," she replied in a low whisper so Jack wouldn't hear her. "And I'm sorry for misleading Van and Patrick but I knew that Ray would be the guy to cause the most chaos to kill him. Todd is well aware of what's going on."

Mickey ordered his shadows to hold Jack down by the limbs, growing concerned as the electricity started to die down. "ANY SECOND NOW, IT'D REALLY BE APPRECIATED!"
--------
With relative ease, Cat made her way into the mall's control room, sitting down at the console and casually going over the various gizmos at her disposal. "Mkay, let's get some monitors going, shall we?"
On her very first try, manipulating only a few buttons, switches and wires, Cat managed to bring up the monitors and receive a display from every camera in the mall. She smiled and adjusted one, pointing it directly at Mickey and Jack.

Jack only smiled as he was held down, still barely able to move despite the electrical charges growing less frequent.
"Ever since we met I only shoot up with your perfume It's the only thing That makes me feel as good as you do"
The mage twitched once, then looked up at Beth with blank, forest green eyes. Ray lowered his eyelids, glaring only slightly. "Okay... Mildly pissed..."
With a brief cringe, Van took over and snapped, "Is that all you care about?! Did you genuinely want to kill him?!"
"I don't care if he dies or comes back or whatever! Jack's the one we're tryna kill, right?!"
"Well, yes, but-"
"THEN LET'S DO IT ALREADY!"
"Van... Ray..." Patrick butted in gently, lowering his head and taking a few deep breaths.
"Ever since we met I've got just one regret to live through... Heh... And I regret never letting you know."
So... Todd could be brought back? He wouldn't have to be sacrificed just to get to Jack? A downpour of sweet, sweet relief filled Patrick to the brim, and it seemed that for the first time tonight, he, Van and Ray were at an agreement. If it really was that easy, then none of them saw any reason to hold back anymore. Todd would turn out alright, this fight would be over soon, and they could finally get their hands on Jack once and for all.
"Work with me."
He lifted his head, staring ahead with upmost seriousness. His eyes were a deep but nondescript green, as if his body had no idea which personality was in control. He marched ahead, passing between the crowd of shadow monsters, eyes trained on Jack.
"Ever since we met I only shoot up with your perfume It's the only thing That makes me feel as good as you do"
Patrick lifted his right hand, summoning the blood sword back into his grip. Ray raised his left hand, showering Jack in pink sparkles to further relax him and leave him even less prone to resist. Van swept his left arm aside, and a bright green aura surrounded the electrical net and cast it aside. The tripersonalitied mage stood over Jack, sword raised, looking angry, remorseless, and just plain done.
"Ever since we met I've got just one regret to live through-"
SHINK
One pierce to the heart, and all fell silent.

Beth gulped as Todd's body went still and silent. "So.... scale of 1 to eternity..... how mad are you at me Rooke?" she asked knowing she had left out a detail or five.
Else wear in the multi-verse, a large and tall cosmic grandfather clock started to ring as it's pendulum was kicked into motion.

Mickey moved away, watching quietly as the mage finished the job. His shadows continued to crowd around them; it almost seemed as if the scene was getting even darker. Eventually, as he studied the blood crystal impaled through Todd's chest, he broke his vigil with a cry of "WHOO! IRONY'D, mother trucker!"

I'm not mad... Ray grumbled, forced out of the control seat by Patrick and Van. I mean, sure, she might've lied, but I still get to kill this demon.
Finally, Ray, you seem to be developing some poise and rationality, Van sighed, allowing himself to relax.
Shut it, Van.
Patrick looked up at Beth, his eyes a bright emerald green again. "I'm not mad. Just... shaken. For now, though..."
He took his hand off the blood sword and pointed his palm at Todd's body, showering it in bright blue light. He still looked surprisingly serious, considering this was Patrick. "You're coming outta there whether you like it or not, Jackie."

"And what of your other parts?" she asked meekly. Her eyes still on her male twin's corpse.

Likewise, Mickey's intense focus was trained on Todd's still form, waiting for some kind of signal as Patrick once again attempted an exorcism. Once he was certain that Jack was coming out, Mickey silently commanded one of his familiars to grab Patrick and gently carry him out of the circle of darkness, which then engulfed Jack's host entirely in a thick dome of shadows.
"C'mon, you little booger... Come to daddy."

"No one's mad at you..." Patrick sighed through the strain of his exorcism spell. "You... You did what you thought was right. All that matters now is- WHOOP!"
He was clearly taken off guard when the shadowy monster carried him away from Todd, setting him down next to Beth with no further harm. Once free, Patrick shook himself off and watched as Mickey's shadows completely covered Todd's body. "W-Wait, what is he...??"
Beneath the black shroud cast by Mickey, Jack slowly navigated through Todd's ear canal and cautiously peaked out of his right ear. Total darkness. He could clearly see everything, even the vampire lord raccoon looming over him. His only options were to retreat back into his current, useless body or come out and face his foes in his weak, natural form. Of course, unfavorable odds were nothing new to him, so he took his chances, darting out like a black, fleshy bullet and bounding towards Mickey.

The cosmic clock kept ticking. It's hands rapidly spinning and alternating between a golden Heroic side and a amethyst Just side. The chimes kept ringing out.
Beth offered Patrick her arm. "It's made from the same stuff as the blade. It'll strengthen your magic," she offered weakly as Todd's body was covered. "Let's pray that he doesn't revive just yet... He wakes in the dome and Jack will know...

Fortunately, such an opportunity wouldn't come.
"CAT!"
From the control room, Cat heard Mickey's call and saw him raise his wings from the security camera. She immediately flipped the necessary switches, and in almost nothing flat, the mall roared to life. The ventilation system activated, the the fountains and radio kicked in at full blast, and most predominantly, the overhead florescent lights clicked on, filling the hallways and stores with a jarring white shine.
As soon as those lights turned on, the shadows retreated back to their master, exposing Todd and Jack, surrounding Mickey alone and finally dissipating to reveal the vampire raccoon in his normal anthro form.
