Yang blinked. Thief of Void..... Violet eyes showed a hint of confusion as she remember a few of her roommate's rants. "So you're a God Tier," the blonde offered before taking a drink. "Just a girl from Patch. But my viola playing roomie has told me about what a God Tier is."

...............
...............
What piqued Alex's curiosity wasn't that Yang knew what a God-Tier was. No. What piqued his interest was that it was the title 'Thief of Void' that clued her in to the fact. Something about that sounded really suspicious to him... It almost sounded as if this girl knew a bit more then what she actually let on... Maybe it was time to investigate...
"Well, it seems you know your fair share... So... What's this about a roommate you have that knows what Syllabi are? What kind of person is he, she, whatever?"

Yang sighed. "Todd. He mentioned a female player in his session with the same title. Different name but still a brilliant Thief. He's a good guy and honestly I've been bumming at his hotel room for about a year now..... Hoping to find a way home," Yang answered. It was the truth and she did miss her sister and teammates.
"I can take you to meet him if you want," she offered not looking at Alex.

..... A female player that went by his exact title... A man named Todd... A brilliant thief as well...
The pieces were definitely very strange in shape, but they were still slowly coming together... "I would like that yes. Something tells me that me and this... Todd, will have quite a bit to talk about."
........... Still, as he said this, he took notice of Yang looking in the other direction. He remembered her mentioning losing her way home, and being unsure of how to get back... It was hard seeing such a tough and self-assured girl looking that lost... .... Briefly, he looked away himself, unsure what to do... After a moment, an idea came to him.
"Hey Yang." When the girl looked to him, Alex was rubbing his chin as he helped himself to some fries. He seemed to be smiling a bit. "Speaking of your world... I wonder if you might be able to answer a few questions I have about it? I've heard about your world to some degree. But I haven't really heard about it in depth." He leaned forward, showing genuine intrigue. "What kind of place is it? Don't leave a single detail if you can... We can leave for Todd's once we finish eating."
Perhaps letting her talk about what she missed wouldn't alleviate things that much... But hey, just listening to her talk would be the best thing he could do in this situation.

Yang nodded. "It's a huge world. There are 4 kingdoms; Atlas, Vale, Minstrel, and Vacuos. I technically am from a little island that is in Vale Territory called Patch," she started. "I lived with my father and half sister, Ruby-" Yang looked down again. "I'm sorry... I'll continue."
She took a breath. "Before going to Sigil and then Beacon Academy. I was training to become a Huntress. It's a classification in my world that can fight these monsters of darkness called Grimm. The hunters and huntresses work in teams of 4. I am on my sister's team with Weiss Schee and Blake Belladonna along with Ruby," she offered.

There were times in and out of the story; moments where Yang found she would need to pause for a few moments. Alex could easily tell why. A big world, filled with a lot of problems...
He had to take a moment... However an idea came to him...
"I kinda know what that's like." That likely caught Yang's attention somewhat."Before the 'session', I came from a fairly small country town in my world... Then when the game came into the picture, I found myself teamed up with up to ten of my other friends, stuck in one ludicrous situation after another... But we couldn't be weak for it either. The game crafted us into fighters. It made sure we were ready, before it stuck us in hell." He looks to Yang simply reminiscing on the events almost fondly. "Things were always tough... Sometimes too tough for any of us... But... I always held onto hope. Hope that we would see the end of it and we'd all make it out together. See what awaited at the end of the tunnel."
............
"The same can go for you, you know."
?
Alex smiled a bit, crossing his arms like a smug smarmy know-it-all. "Just chin up and don't stop believing. You'll find your way back sometime. You have Todd to help you after all... and now you have me and my friends if you so need our help." Maybe he wasn't exactly socially adept, but, give him this, he did have his moments.

Yang nodded. "Fair enough. Say if you need my help or hanging out- I'm up for just about anything," she offered as she pulled out a small metal thing that soon turned into a holo-screen phone-tablet hybrid. "Maybe trade numbers or we could trade handles. she offered calmly as she pulled up an address book.

Oh-hoh! Alex made sure to take a quick picture of Yang's phone. If that thing was available on the market, he'd have to snatch it up. It would almost be too bad he wouldn't be able to experiment with the technology, not without the Game's Alchemizer system or any of the related pieces needed for it. If he had, he would've been able to create a brand new Holo-Comm. Still, putting that aside, swapping information sounded like a good idea... Maybe he could pull something like this as well for any other new faces he came across on the island. It was worth a shot in any cases.
He nodded and looked at the phone. The idea of swapping contact information with someone new, much less Yang Xiao Long, EVEN LESS A GIRL, was something he was not entirely used to. Clearing his throat, he nodded to Yang and pulled out his current holo-comm system finishing his last fry as he tapped on the holo-screen, pulling up Pesterchum. "Usually you're best chance to reach me is Pesterchum. I've grown used to using that over most other means of communication over the years... HOWEVER..." He reached into his void Modus Sylladex and pulled out what looked like a fairly simplistic Cell-phone, he would definitely need to upgrade. "I can keep my cell-phone within reach if need be. You know, speedier communication." He smiled, looking almost proud at the condition of his wears. "My chumhandle is gantzGun, as you can see here. And my number is-"
It took relatively little time whatsoever to swap the numbers.
Note to self, get new phone later when possible.

Yang nodded. "Todd had me create a chumhandle. It's bumblebeeBrawler," Yang offered to her new contact after getting his number. "Also. I can try to find you a Scroll if you're looking to update. My number is -" Yang soon gave him her contact number.

Exchanging phone numbers and chum handles with Yang finished up with Alex putting in Yang's name in the contacts. Then, perhaps just to be official he entered RWBY as the 'company title' the contact was related to. That would perhaps make things simpler in case he happened to meet another character named Yang later down the road. The possibility was open. At least bumblebeeBrawler was fairly distinct.
With the two contacts saved, Alex banished both cellphone and computer to his sylladex for future use... Still, remembering what she said before. "If you can find products like that somewhere on the island, that would be pretty cool, thanks." he nodded and looked over to Yang taking a look over her own purchases. "Anyway, we'll head off to this Todd's place when we're both ready ta go." There was a small smile on his face as he drank up some more of his soda. "I'll tell you this much though, I really needed a good snack. I feel pretty energized."

Yang nodded. "He's over at the hotel. His female counterpart used to live across the hall but her stuff just went poof after the Fog," she offered as she opened PesterChum.
-bumbleBrawler [BB] has started perstering fallenArtist[FA]-
BB: Hey Todd! BB: I'm bringing a friend home. FA: I'll have drinks ready then. FA: Yang.... You wouldn't know what happened to the strawberries I bought yesterday. FA: Would you? BB: I had some on my ice cream last night and you made those muffins this morning.
-fallenArtist has gone idle-
Yang rolled her eyes before going to put her scroll away. "Had to give Todd a heads up," she offered before getting up.

............
HIS FEMALE COUNTERPART.
TODD.
GOD-TIER.
KNEW A THIEF OF VOID, THOUGH FEMALE.
All of the pieces were starting to come together in the normally genre-savvy Alex's head, and the conclusion was not exactly one he had been hoping to hear at any point in his life. As the details came together, Alex remembered once upon a time when Arti had created a weapon during the game's down time that could change the gender of anyone it hit. Ryan and Beth had been continual targets (He himself stayed a safe distance away whenever it was pulled out), and when the two took on their opposing gender forms, they took to calling the results Racheal and TODD... Could it be possible that people existed that were just like him and his friends, but of the opposite gender to begin with? That would mean there was a female version of him as well, of Arti, of Pieter and even Evan. People that could be loose on the island with them.
Good god would the island survive a paradox space event that big-? Was the universe ready for such a thing?
Still, he needed to respond to Yang, so best he does that now. At least now he had a fair clue who to expect.... But...
The Fog-?
"... What do you mean by 'Fog'?" Even looking at this event in context to knowing the island and a good amount of it's past events, that sort of phenomenon didn't sound familiar....

Yang sighed. "The Fog. An event that warps each being on the island and lets the darker side of a person show. Some of us morph into other creatures. Todd just becomes a vampire.... I become some sort of Grimm for a month long period," she offered bringing out her scroll and pulling up a picture of herself as a Rakasha Grimm. "Todd took the picture after a minor fiasco of the most recent one."

Brings out a person's worse side. Takes the form of a fog. Transforming one person into a monster...
So... Tabitha existed on this island. Because obviously Fright Island was a thing... Note to self, track her down and try to fix that. Because obviously such an effect would probably have a devastating effect on him. The island would NEVER be ready for whatever happened... He already had his uncomfortable theories afterall... All of them ending with him having jet black skin and screaming in tongues.
He nodded to the woman somewhat, already shown to be somewhat uncomfortable. "I see... Sounds really inconvenient..." Terrifying too given the implications...... Actually, the fact that a Beth vanished in the fog just made it worse........ "Important thing to note for living here. I'll keep that in mind. Still... I hope that female counterpart is okay... Have you seen her at all after that Fog?"

"She snapped and Todd got killed. Last I saw her, she had weird red crystal armor on her arms and shards floating off. Didn't talk much but I have a feeling that was due to her being a Siren during the Fog- and that girl has some pipes," Yang offered. "Last words I heard from her were 'Time to move. Another takes the reigns.' Todd and I both don't know what to think of it..."
