Full Name: Senuta Kikagi
Nickname(s): Sen, River Song, (the Second) Mistress of Twilight
Age: 22
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 130 lbs.
Gender: Female
Race: Universal elemental hanyo (half human, half yokai)
Alliance: Neutral Good
Home: Wherever the wind takes her
Franchise: OC
Physical Description
Senuta is tall and thin, but very well-built for a woman. She has lightly tanned skin, long, silky black hair, pointed ears and cerulean blue eyes. The sclera of her eyes changes between white, black and silver depending on which elemental forces she is currently tuned to (see Abilities/Powers). She wears a traditional samurai kimono, which is dark blue with black swirls and white sparkles, closely resembling the night sky, as well as a silver sash with a sword hilt, black boots, and her mother's silver medallion necklace with an swirl emblem that she has been told represents void. Though she keeps it hidden, her left leg is a wooden prosthetic from the knee down.
Weapons
She carries her father's Kiburedo, a sword that resembles a large key; its hilt is copper and engraved with an angel wing emblem, and its blade is silver and shaped like the teeth of a key.
Abilities/Powers
Along with the enhanced strength, speed, agility and dexterity granted to her by her yokai blood, Senuta has innate control over the natural elements. She can only manipulate certain elements at a time based upon their alignment, categorized as such:
Forces of Creation (White): Light, water, earth and plants.
Forces of Destruction (Black): Shadow, fire, electricity and metal.
Forces of Change (Silver): Reflection, ice, wind and radio.
Weaknesses
Her elemental powers are diluted by her human blood and therefore not as powerful as a full yokai's (but she seems to excel with them regardless). She is also somewhat loathe to use her sword, as she sees it as a symbol of shame and her abandonment by the God of Hope. It can be presumed that, like all hanyo, she becomes fully human once a month and, as such, loses her yokai powers; it is unknown when this transformation occurs, as only her family and Kensuke have seen her in this form and she always goes into hiding at this time. Also, while she can walk and fight incredibly well on her prosthetic leg, to the point where you almost couldn't tell she had it, it still proves to be a physical limitation from time to time.
Skills
Senuta is well trained in combat; she excels at various martial arts, melee, swordsmanship, and manipulating the forces of nature via her powers, and she can easily pick up just about anything and make a weapon out of it. She is a skilled survivalist, able to find resources and live alone in the wilderness, but she is also good at bartering and negotiating; she'll often perform great heroic feats for small monetary gain or in exchange for provisions. She has retained some knowledge of herbology from her childhood, which she mostly uses to make simple tonics or poisons.
Personality
Cold, calculating, but not completely heartless, Senuta is a weary soul who rarely shows any outward emotion. She seems to have found a balance between her human and yokai blood, as she has proven to care greatly for others but can also be very ruthless and stubborn. She thrives on freedom and spontaneity and is never content to stay in the same place for long. Truth be told, her life of adventure does bring her happiness, but her stony visage and fierce determination mask this. More than anything, she wants to right the wrongs of the world; not just her own, but all those she comes across. She especially will not tolerate those who take advantage of others, and anyone who crosses her will undoubtedly face her wrath.
History
Senuta and her twin brother Sanuta were born to a human father and a yokai mother, the latter being the first Mistress of Twilight. Their mother died in combat shortly after they were born. Throughout their childhood, the twins were raised in their paternal family's garden, Kisono Fields, and their father passed onto them teachings based on the ideals of the God of Hope, whom they referred to as Kitomo. While Sanuta was more interested their father's lessons and farm life, Senuta yearned to leave the garden and explore the island, dreaming of the life of a hero. Then, when they were teenagers, Sanuta and Senuta woke up in the middle of the night to find their father being murdered by a hooded figure; their attempts to fight him off failed, resulting in Sanuta's vision being permanently impaired and Senuta losing her left leg.
The incident left Senuta shaken, causing her to lose what little faith she had in the God of Hope. Senuta left home shortly thereafter to pursue a life of adventure and heroics, taking her father's Kiburedo with her, while Sanuta stayed behind to care for the family garden. After acquiring a prosthetic leg and spending a few years training under various masters, she set out on her own, and she has been traveling the island ever since, combating malevolent forces. Her primary goal in life is to retrieve her mother's sword, Akatsuki, so she can rid herself of the "shameful" Kiburedo, defeat her mother's killer and cement herself as the new Mistress of Twilight.
Other
Senuta has not spoken to her brother or returned to her childhood home in years, mostly due to qualms against her past life and the religion she abandoned. Also, the void emblem on her mother's medallion and the angel wing emblem on her sword look oddly familiar...
