The cup Alex had been carrying dropped to the ground and it hit with a clatter spilling the soda all over the floor.
Lizzie, whom had been happily drinking up her own drink and playing a little game on her own Holo-keyboard, jumped at the clatter and turned to Alex, whom had appeared to be looking around, eyes widened. "? What? What's up bro? Is something the matter?" Alex just continued looking around, not even noticing the spilt drink. "Bro? H-Hey bro calm down..." She got up and reached out a hand for his shoulder. "What's wrong-?"
"C-CAN'T YOU HEAR THOSE VOICES?"

Now Lizzie looked REALLY freaked out.
.... Oh yes. Of course she couldn't. She wasn't hardwired for hearing the new conversationalists that seemed to all but appear in the room... Though HOW THEY WERE WAS WELL BEYOND HIM IN ALL RESPECTS AND THOUGHTS.
THEY WERE HERE.
THEY WERE WHISPERING.
TELLING HIM IN HARSH NONSENSICAL ELDRITCH TONGUES...
THAT THEY WERE DISPLEASED IN HIM. FOR IGNORING THEM FOR SO LONG.
NO LONGER. THEY WOULD NOT BE IGNORED AGAIN. NOT WHEN SUCH AN OPPURTUNITY WAS NOW WITHIN REACH.
"A-Alex-... Alex please you're scaring me, what's going-" She notices Alex looking to the back door...

AND FOUND A RED FOG BEING LET INTO THE HOUSE VIA THE OPEN BACKDOOR LEADING TO THE BACKYARD.
It was the fog. The fog that they were so warned about by Todd and Yang. How it had snuck up on them they couldn't tell... All they knew was that it was too late to avoid it now...

A void barrier was now surrounding the house, protecting it from the outside world... "Don't unlock that barrier for ANYTHING. Stay safe and stay down...... I... I promise I'll be back soon." Lizzie looked so terrified as she held onto the string as if for dear life...
She had no idea why the fog wasn't affecting her...
All she knew was that it was affecting HIM.
"I promise I'll be back so-ack. KREEG IQ GHIL DAX OON PTAL. SOOK TA MAF IL KET TO WARA NE."
Lizzie held onto the string for dear life... Though not before giving the man a hug... He seemed to calm down a moment.... But then he pushed her away and flew out the door as fast as he could, his skin turning grey, his eyes turning black... His void energy essence was now turning into a collection of energy based thorns and his magical power seemed to be climbing massively.

When the creature awoke again, it found itself outside a massive barrier, which it was unable to access... Inside it's head, two voices warred away for control, one calming and guiding, the other assertive and eldritch. He liked the second one quite a bit.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!! HRES WOAT DO SAAA!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA~!!!!!"
