Atla squinted. "Oh good, it's in Primal," she smiled. "Friends, turned you into a... The mist turned you into something?" she asked, then read the rest. "Invisible woman, wolf man, dracula, frankesntain?" She furrowed her face, looking a mite confused.
"What even are some of those..."

Guess this means fish girl don't watch movies.
She gave a quick nod to answer the question that the fog had transformed her, the mimed an action for each creature, pointing to their names.
A sweeping gesture followed by licking her lips, making sure to show the canine teeth. Dracula. Pointing to herself and shrugging. Invisible Woman. Hiding half her face and miming singing. Phantom of the Opera. A growl accompanied by hands mimicking ears followed by a howl. Wolfman. Miming wrapping herself in bandages. Mummy. Pointing to herself. Frankenstein.

"Ooooh," she smiled. "Okay, I think I get you. Kind of..." she stretched a little. "The closest we have to creepies like that are old stories... So your friends all look like beastly folks?" she asked, flaring out her fin-ears a moment.

Kind of? We ain't like this normally but if what that fog did to me means anything... Tamika gave a quick nod, realizing something.
I need to stop Li'l D and Philly Phil before they end up killing someone.
Also I should make more of my own kind-

The lady frankenstein gave her head a quick shake before motioning to the names "Li'l D" and "Philly Phil", then pointing down to "Dracula" and "Wolfman."
Please take this hint the right way.
Tamika clenched a fist and punched a dry patch of earth, scattering a few pebbles and small bugs.

Tamika patted Atla's arm apologetically and mimed reading a newspaper. She then paused, not knowing if the fish lady would take the hint.
Knowing it would make her shoes muddy, she wrote a lone word in the mud.

She should have figured that would be the case. This town was completely empty aside from a few potential pieces-
No they ain't pieces of any kind they just here.
Tamika sincerely hoped that thought didn't show on her face and mimed looking around.
A vampire and/or werewolf attack would be a pretty big deal...

Atla walked around, looking for anything that might clue her in to their wherabouts. "Hmmm... If they eat things like blood, does that mean they might go where blood's everywhere?" she asked.

Atla listened to the wind, gasping as she heard a horrific snarl echo through the ghost town. A massive, wolf-like turtle was stalking the streets of the abandoned city, its yellow eyes glowing in the dark as it continued to growl and snarl at everything.
"Um... is that normal?" Atla asked.

Okay. as far as freaky-lookin' things go, I come in THIRD, Tamika thought as she took a glance at the rampaging turtle... dragon... wolf... thing, only widening her eyes.
He probably some g-
I SAID GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!
She tapped Atla on the shoulder and gestured the opposite way from the beast, in the direction of the manor.
Whatever in there's probably safer than... whatever that is.

She nodded, heading that way. "We better hurry if we don't want it after us," she gulped, rushing toward the mansion. The wolf-koopa snarled, still sniffing at the ground as it hunted viciously for a possible meal.
