Tamika didn't have to be told twice, running at speeds in spite of the long dress she wore.
I don't wan' to be turtlewolf food.
The manor was oddly quiet, as if nothing was there...

Atla quickly closed the doors, sighing as she looked around the manor. "Ritzy place," she offered, walking around and looking at everything. If it wasn't for the copius amounts of dust kegged onto every surface, the old manor would look like it was made for a king.

Tamika gave a quick nod at that comment. This manor, dust aside, would've been the home of a rich fam...
Her eyes were drawn to an item on the floor.
The bride reached down and picked up a cream cashmire sweater.

Atla walked over to her. "What's that?" she asked, poking the sweater. "It looks kind of nice." Hard to imagine she'd say that, considering she was dressed in some fancy looking duds herself.

Tamika pointed at the sweater, then made a heart shape with her hands before pointing to herself. He loves me... not that I like him back or anything...
Upon seeing the look on Atla's face, she shook her head.

"Heart..." She furrowed her face a bit. Only place I know of with a heart is the fire royalty, but... Oh, she means he's in love with her! The blue gal giggled. "Oh, I understand," she smiled, walking further into the mansion.

Tamika sighed in relief, glad that the blue girl hadn't taken it the wrong way. He's a friend, but that's it...
There was a sudden scream throughout the manor, causing the two to jump. It sounded...
Eddie's in here! And somethin's goin' on!!

The fishy pre-teen jumped at the scream, rushing down a hall. "...no, the scream was too high up," she gulped, running to the staircase instead. "Come on!"

The frankenstein girl simply nodded and made a dash up the stairs.
If Eddie got hurt... well nobody does that to her friends except her.

In the meantime, a newly transformed Eddie looked, horrified, at his own reflection in a dusty mirror, the cashmere sweater he normally wore absent from his shoulders.
He tried to say something, but only a strange sound came out...

The girl darted along, her feet making wet footprints in the carpet as she traveled. She popped open door after door, trying to find the one she was after. "No, nu-uh, that's not even a room, no..." She kept going, not considering that she went the wrong way, just considering she hadn't found him yet.

Tamika made a pause hearing a rattling sound in an oddly familiar voice. It sounds nearby...
She held her hand out to Atla in a stop gesture, then motioned towards a mostly-closed door...

The blue pre-teen dashed to Tamika's location, pushing the door into creaking open. "In here?" she asked. She examined the room- dusty furniture, nasty windows, the place seemed to be without maintanence for many years- then she saw a very panicky young man. Is that him...?

That's him... looks like he transformed too.
Upon hearing the door creak open, Eddie jumped and looked around frantically, clutching onto a nearby chair for support...
And when his eyes caught sight of Tamika-
Tamika caught him first, and raised a stop signal, then pointed at her throat.
We can't talk??

As soon as she finished that thought, Eddie has approached Tamika, eyes wide with curiosity, fear, and...
We both ain't got no clue on how t' fix this.
She took him and herself by surprise when she gently took his hand...
WHEN SUDDENLY THE BUILDING SHOOK, KNOCKING THE TRIO DOWN TO THE FLOOR, EDDIE ACTUALLY SCREAMING.
Guess that's one thing he can still vocalize.
