She holds up her hand as if to shush him.... She was quick to look around and make sure that no-one was listening in... Thankfully, the room seemed to be just them... With that out of the way, she turned back to Todd, clearing her throat and standing up. It looked like this could go in some amount of detail... She started pacing around, smiling widely. "You see Todd... This nightmare fog... It bares a STRIKING resemblence to an idea that I had been planning on implementing at our RP forum at some point or another. All of the pieces fit together. A mysterious magical fog, a corrupting force, very few people spared... You know, drama." She turns around and paces the other way, holding up an index finger. "HOWEVER we started playing the game before I could introduce the idea... And even if I had the chance after that, come on, we all just wanted a chance to be HAPPY so how COULD I introduce it-. NOT THE POINT." She turns and paces the other way. "Well. It would appear my idea did come to life. Here. On this island. And not only have the events I witnessed confirmed that my idea is indeed canon to our current events, it also expands on them, introducing a source to this corruption."
She stops and turns to Todd, grinning widely. "It's the Witch Princess Todd! If we can find her, we can help her reverse the fog entirely maybe! And even if That doesn't work? We know what the source of the fog is. It's a demon named Chara. If we destroy him, we could potentially get rid of the fog once and for all."

Todd gave a calm nod as he watched his sister pace. "So that is a thing. And what's a Chara? I don't remember that being a character roaming on our forum..." he offered.

Erin smiled to herself when Todd asked. "Well it makes sense you wouldn't recognize the name, He was a much more recent character to be introduced..... Chara is one of the main villains of a game called Undertale. You remember Papyrus and Undyne from our discussion after the more recent fog? Their two characters from that game too."

Erin nodded, well of course he remembered, she HAD claimed that Papyrus and Undyne had helped her break free of the Horror-Terrors. And while that wasn't technically true and Papyrus and Undyne corrected her... Well... She hoped they would see each other again. She would've loved to spend more time with the cast of Undertale. It looked like Alex was intrigued as well... "Well... Putting it simply... Chara is a human with Determination. Which basically means he can defeat big deal opponents with little trouble... If Pieter, Petra's male version hadn't shown up... Chara probably would've killed me..." .... She grins widely. "But the next time I see that little cheat, he won't get the better of me! I'm gonna beat him so bad, he's gonna regret the day he crossed any of us~."

"Need me to fashion any weapons? I may have perfected my crystal blades," Todd offered. "Speaking of which... After this is over... Remind me to go to the grocery... Yang finished off the milk before heading out this morning...."

Erin stopped pacing and looked to Todd with sparkling eyes.... She then got closer and took Todd's hands, excitement clearly showing in her eyes. "YES. YES I WOULD LOVE NEW RACKETS. GIMME."

The two had just finished this conversation when, quite suddenly, the door leading out of the waiting room opened... And from it, a doctor appeared, wearing the typical scrubs and facemask, looking the two over oddly. "Are you the two that checked in the girl with the hole in her chest? Called her Eevee?"
That caught Erin's attention as she quickly turned to the man in uniform. "YES! THAT'S US! Please! Tell us! Is Eevee okay??" The doctor held up a hand to quiet her down.
He then sat back down in a seat as if the stress had been catching back up with him... Which did not look promising. "It was touch and go there for a while... The massive laceration in the stomach gave us all kinds of problems... We don't know WHAT did that to the poor thing, but that cut went in DEEP. We should just be lucky the cut stopped short of the bone." He turned to Erin. "She is still in very serious condition... But with the work we've done, I think it's safe to say she'll pull through... We will need her to stay in the hospital for the next few weeks however so we can continue observing her condition."
Erin nodded. Her father (And Alex's Mother) was a PA. She more then understood. "Is she okay? Is she awake? Is she... Anything-?"
The doctor, seemingly catching his breath, stood back up. "She is ready for visitors... However you should keep in mind that she needs her rest. Don't ask her what happened, don't try to force the memories either, the stress would potentially make the injury that much worse." He motioned for them to follow. "I guess if there's something I don't suggest against... It's comfort. For now, just be there for your friend so she can keep her spirits up... Something tells me she might need it."
And with that, the doctor showed Erin and Todd down the hall towards the resting room they had stored away Evelyn after her procedure...

Tucked away in bed, dressed in a simple gown, Evelyn lay still and frail. Though she was awake, her eyelids were heavy with drowsiness, fighting to stay open. Several bandages covered her body, patching up the scrapes and bruises from her rough encounter, as well as punctures from the IVs that had administered various drugs and a replenishing dose of B positive. Unseen beneath her hospital gown, she was wrapped in gauze from the chest down, covering the wound that had been stitched shut and warmed from the frostbite, but careful not to put pressure on her bruised ribs. Despite her condition, at the very least, her hair had been neatly brushed and washed and her skin had regained its color... if only slightly.
When Erin, Todd and the doctor entered the room, Evelyn tilted her head just a tiny bit and stared at them out of the corner of her eye. Against the pain and weariness she felt, the rogue mustered a little smile. Circumstances aside, she couldn't have been happier to see her friends.

"Hey sis. Good to see you," Todd offered softly with a welcoming smile on his face after entering the room. "And yes I am in my pajamas. You're not seeing things." It was his attempt at making a joke.

.... The doctor smiled and let the three be, walking back out the room and closing the door...
Erin meanwhile just stood there, taking in her ecto-sister's horrible state... Gulping down an uncomfortable lump in her throat, she found a chair nearby and pulled it close to the bed, sitting herself down near the head of Evelyn's bed so she could be nice and close. "Hehe... Yeah... I did kinda yank him outta bed but... When I found you in the mountains..."
She had to force herself to stop there. No.
She had to keep positive... For Eevee's sake.
"But don't worry. He was okay with it..." Her tone almost seemed to ask Eevee to jokingly question whether he actually had been or not. "And thanks to his help, I was able to get you to the doctor okay enough..."
.... She stopped a bit, looking Evelyn over with a gentle smile... One forced, but one doing it's best, and succeeding to stay genuine in her sad times. "Okay so...HORRIBLE QUESTION, I KNOW, STUPID AND STANDARD BUT... Will you be okay?"

Evelyn let out a single, small chuckle, not exactly in any position to burst out laughing. "Heh... Really... Were you just that insistent on a pajama party to celebrate my arrival? I'm flattered."
After taking a deep breath and gingerly running her fingers along her stomach, smile slowly fading all the while, Evelyn sighed, "Yeah, I'm uh... I'm pretty worn out... and I know I'm gonna be here for a while, but... I think I'll be okay."

Todd pouted. "Erin void warped me out of bed...." he commented. "That is great to hear. And I wasn't joking. I've been missing you the last few weeks, little sis. And Welcome to Dimensional Island, sorry your first night is in well.... here..."
