Sirion felt someone grab his horn and yank back to catch his attention. When he whirled around to respond how he wished, the knife vanished into thin air. "Sirion THAT IS ENOUGH." Alex did not look amused OR IMPRESSED as he looked over the knife he had just stolen from him. "I'm not ENTIRELY happy with certain members of our party either, but BITCHING AND MOANING ABOUT IT IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING OR HELP ANYONE, LEAST OF ALL YOU."
He puts away the knife, he could question about it in a moment. "NOW... Like it or not, thanks to this Clockwork jackass, this session is all of ours now. SO. How about we SUCK THAT UP, PRETEND YOU LIKE SOMEONE AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT and swap information like a bunch of normal sane ass players, helpers, and other miscellaneous help THAT WOULD RATHER NOT FUCKING DIE? Because not dying sounds WONDERFUL TO ME."

Ryan looked to be no-where in sight- until he peeked out from behind the time capsule. "I second the not dying statement!" he whimpered.

The more Sirion shouted, the further Lagola sank behind Evan. Eventually it got to the point where he started insulting her and Kendall directly. And then he went and dropped the flushed crush bomb on everyone, finally prompting her to latch onto Evan and start crying.
"Hey!" Evan immediately wrapped his arms around Lagola and directed his anger at Sirion. "Lay off, will ya?! No one's given you any reason to throw your bile at us!" He gently stroked Lagola's hair and softly shushed her. "Calm down. He's not gonna hurt anyone..."
"You don't know that..." Lagola shakily whispered as if genuinely fearing for her life.
Patrick quickly took a stance by Ace's side, magical energy gathering in his hands. "Yeah, you got some nerve just tellin' people off for no good reason, big guy!"
With another sigh, Kendall tapped Patrick and Ace on the shoulders to politely pass between them. He stared at Sirion firmly and diplomatically. "Sirion, I don't expect you to understand or accept this explanation, but the restarting of this session has always been destined to occur in this universe's alpha timeline. My intervention is not the cause of this, but merely one of many necessary factors. Yes, there are risks involved, but I have been taking steps to ensure the safest possible course for everyone involved. Contrariwise, I have serious doubts that you have taken into consideration the damage you have and continue to inflict on the space-time continuum by means of your destructive actions tearing apart the void."

"Excuse me, I think I have plenty of reason to be pissed at you guys!" Sirion argued. "And since you so politely insist, I will elaborate! Wanna know why this Clockwork freak is so hellbent on killing us all?!"
"Just seems like a generic prick move to me..." Ace mumbled flatly.
"He's after the keymaster punk." Sirion tilted his head towards Evan. "He's stolen the powers from players of every aspect except hope, and I have been out there BUSTIN' MY A** TO ENSURE IT STAYS THAT WAY! You start this game again, you let this son of a b**** acquire his powers, and you'll be givin' Clockwork EXACTLY WHAT HE F***IN' WANTS! I'd like to see ya justify THAT ONE, angel boy!"
He then turned a malicious, patronizing smile on Alex. "But hey, I'm sure that works out just nicely for you, eh f***wad? You never liked him or this game anyway! Oh... and did I mention that HE'S THE ONE THAT LET CLOCKWORK OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!"

........................
.....................................
.................................................
He looks at Kendall, eyes narrowed QUITE DANGEROUSLY...
.............
.............................
...............................................
Then, he sighed.
"As much as I want to strangle Kendall for not mentioning that... In fact I may VERY MUCH STRANGLE HIM LATER............... It doesn't matter now. What DOES matter is that Clockwork is free. We will need to arm ourselves... And much as I hate to admit it, the game is the only way we'll get Alchemiters, let alone the materials needed to create new stuff." He looks Sirion dead in the eye. "I've accepted that much..."
...........
...................
"But while we're on the subject of questionable intentions, let me ask you something. What does RIPPING APART THE VOID ITSELF HAVE TO DO WITH STOPPING OR DELAYING CLOCKWORK? That's not just your domain your messing with buddy. It's mine too. I wasn't even aware the void was something that COULD be destroyed, the thought never occurred to me... so the question that comes to mind is..."
"WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU DOING?"

A large, crudely drawn wall man appeared beside Alex, the being's sketchy looking appearance and pure white body making it obvious it was one of Ryan's. Rather than try to get between anyone, it eyed Lagola, motioning her to move behind it. Ryan stood out from his hiding spot, staying behind the wall-man as well. "...Alex, I'm sorry, but I got anxious when people started yelling," he confessed. "And Blocks seemed like a good option..."
"MaSTeR, You ReaLLY NeeD To ReLaX MoRe," Blocks sighed, its speech warped and distorted.

"W...? Hey, that wasn't my fault!" Evan insisted. "Dude's a time traveler! He was pretty much using me to break his own past- future- whatever-self out!"
"I-It was inevitable..." Lagola murmured through bronze tears, simply trying to help. She looked up at the sketch man, not quite sure what was going on.
"Sirion, you must understand that as the Bard of Void, your actions are naturally inclined to cause serious damage through or to your aspect," Kendall continued. "The battles you have been in, the shockwaves you release in your anger... they're opening rifts, shortening gaps between worlds, disrupting the very flow of time and space. Has it not occurred to you that perhaps your path of destruction has had just as much effect on recent events as our efforts have?" A deep breath, then he sadly added, "And on a somewhat unrelated note, what is Orcana going to say when she learns that you've been killing Aquila in doomed timelines?"

"Well, s***! I'm so sorry for trying to do something about the guy!" Sirion snapped. "So I'm causing a little collateral damage! That's jack s*** compared to what Clockwork could be capable of without me there to stop him! What's worse, a few dead alt timeline losers, or an ALL-F***IN'-POWERFUL DEMON WHO COULD KILL ANYONE AND EVERYONE IF HE SO CHOOSES?!"
"Alright, TIME OUT!" Ace shoved her way between Kendall and Sirion, pushing them both back with a gentle nudge for the former and a graviton-charged punch for the latter. She then glared at Sirion and firmly continued, "Listen, punk, that attitude of yours isn't gonna help any of us. Alex has the right idea. I don't care WHOSE fault it is that this Clockwork guy is on the loose. If he's as bad as you're making him out to me, all I care about is taking him down, and we're not gonna do that if we waste our time haphazardly flailing around on wild goose chases and pointing fingers at each other! We need a PLAN!"

"Sirion!!!"
The expression of irritation was noteworthy as Alex once more jumped in. This time however he made his intentions very clear, picking up Sirion by the collar of his shirt. "Are you even taking a goddamned moment to LISTEN TO YOURSELF?? DESTROYING ALTERNATE TIMELINES AND PIECES OF THE VOID IS A VERY BAD THING. Look I SUPPOSE I can understand some of your logic. But the fact of the matter is that WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF SIDE EFFECTS YOUR ACTIONS ARE GOING TO HAVE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW. Changing what happens in a timeline REGARDLESS OF REASON OR INTENTIONS NEVER ends well."
He lowers Sirion but keeps a hold. "The last thing we need right now is more rouge elements potentially making this situation even worse... We don't even know what kind of effects this PAUSE has on our current situation let alone the hell raising you've been doing. We can come up with a better plan then that IF YOU WILL JUST LET US HELP YOU."

Blocks faded into light, vanishing back into Ryan's book as he continued to keep an eye on everything happening. With the talk about alternate timelines being destroyed, this session absolutely needing to be restarted, and the mention of an all powerful demonic entity supposedly running loose... He didn't like it. Not even the littlest bit.
"U-um... M-mister Sirion?" Ryan asked. This event in and of itself likely shocked Alex- his Ryan wasn't much for starting things, unless he was very excited. "I-I'm not doubting your methods, or trying to tell you what to do, I-I just want to ask. Why does destroying alternate timelines seem like the only way to stop this... big... evil... thingy?"
Now THERE was Ryan. Always had a loose grasp on most situations.

Kendall kept quiet, calmly observing the situation with an air of tact and professionalism. If anything, he was somewhat disappointed that the conversation would soon be momentarily derailed, thanks largely to another incoming guest.
"Yeah, I'm with Ace on this one!" Patrick decreed, not that this was particularly surprising. "I'm not one for minutias. Mi... Minutia... Minutiae? What's the plural? W-Whatever! If there's some big baddy doing big bad things, we gots to do some' 'bout it!"
Evan stepped up to fully integrate himself with the group, giving Lagola a gentle, encouraging nudge to follow suit. "I-If I may... This... Aquila guy. He wouldn't happen to be a hope player, would he?"
"Uh-huh..." Lagola shakily mumbled. "He was... is... our session's Seer of Hope."
"I see..." Evan stared at the ground. "So Clockwork... in all his various timeline incarnations... is targeting any hope player he can find, isn't he?"

Ace gave Patrick a nod before opting to follow Kendall's example, folding her arms and staring at Sirion with a raised, scrutinizing eyebrow.
"I am NOT destroying timelines, you ignorant dickweeds! I'm just preventing any event that would give Clockwork hope powers! I'm not your retarded Prince of Time! And I'm sure as hell no BARD either, ya feathery piece uh s***!" Sirion barked, eyes blazing at Ryan, then Alex, then Kendall. He then took a deep, ragged breath and continued in a somewhat more level tone, "Not that destroying timelines wouldn't be an effective way uh gettin' rid uh that demon. Any timeline he exists in is one destined for misery. Trust me, I seen it firsthand. If he gains the hope powers he needs, it doesn't matter WHICH f***in' timeline we're in. WE ARE ALL BONED."
Sirion then got up close and personal with Alex, his face twisted in stone cold fury. "So if ya got a better idea on how ta get rid uh him, I'd like to hear it, ya craven douche."

Alex's own fury laden face just retorted back to Sirion, "Maybe I WOULD have a good plan about this if you would take a moment to stop playing the 'FUCKING LONE RANGER' LONG ENOUGH TO TELL US WHAT THE HELL WE'RE UP AGAINST. Or even good strategies for countering this thing!!" He dropped Sirion, arms crossed but doing his best to even out his breathing. "Sirion, look, I don't know what your deal is, or what you're trying to accomplish-" He notes the troll about to speak. "BUT TAKING HIM ON ALONE IS NOT A GOOD PLAN. I mean, COME ON, even you must have some better sense THEN THAT. If this guy really IS that powerful, how do you know he's not just TOYING WITH YOU? Letting you have your smaller victories just to set you up for a loss later?? He's a time traveler, their trolls like that. WE NEED EACH OTHER TO GET THIS DONE. You want us to survive through this, so we don't become this thing's dinner somehow? THEN HELP US AND LET US HELP YOU. I DON'T THINK THAT'S ASKING TOO MUCH."

Ryan nodded. "I use to think doing things all on my own was the only way to get things done," he admitted, sheepishly rubbing his foot on the ground."But... some things just aren't meant to be done alone. Working with someone else- even someone you don't particularly like, can be a good way to learn something new, among other things...

Kendall sighed, casting his eyes away from Sirion. "I suppose it was a given that even after all this time, you still haven't accepted your role..."
"Y'know, even if you are stopping him from getting hope powers, screwing up the void and hijacking timelines is probably doing him a few favors too," Evan meekly offered.
The way Evan worded his sentence made Patrick think of something he hadn't before, something that made his stomach churn. If Sirion was leaving holes in the void... what if he...?
So you're thinking it too, I presume?
Patrick looked up at nothing in particular. "Oh hey, Van. You guys have been pretty quiet."
Haven't had much to say. Though, if I may, perhaps it would be prudent to make sure this boy hasn't tampered with our piece of the void.
"Right..."
Hearing Alex chew Sirion out instantly got Lagola worried. She knew better than most that Sirion was not one to be easily swayed, and he definitely wasn't one who would accept anyone's guff. He could dish it all he wanted, but bark back at him, and he would bite. Though Alex's intentions were good, this aggressiveness was going to get him nowhere with the hound, and it was only a matter of time before Sirion took things too far.
"S-STOP!" So to keep that from happening, Lagola dashed up to Alex and Sirion, squeezed between them and weakly pushed them apart. "Just... Just stop! We can't work together with... with everyone attacking each other!"
Lagola then wiped the bronze tears off her face and looked up at Alex, making an effort to keep her voice as steady as possible. "Clockwork is powerful... powerful enough to destroy an entire session... but he's sick. H-He would probably already be dead if he couldn't manipulate life and doom... a-and there are so many versions of him scattered throughout paradox space that if you kill one version of him, another is almost guaranteed to take his place. I... I theorize that every version encountered thus far is already doomed and the alpha Clockwork is hiding somewhere." She looked down at her feet and sniffled. "I-I'm sorry... that's all I know."
