"WHOAAAA MAMA!" Elsa quickly ignited her jet boots and flew after him, landing next to the crater and staring at the sphere with wide, sparkling eyes.
"Hmmm... Curious. Things don't just fall outta the sky without reason, even if that reason is just irony..."

"Irony Schmirony," Wario Grumbled, going to pick it up. "Maybe we can call it an alien egg and sell it at a Pawn Shop?" He gently tossed it in his hand, smiling to himself.

Wario curiously looked it over. Then, like an idiot, squeezed. "...HEY! BREAK, YOU STUPID-!"
It gave a brilliant flash of light, Wario shielding his eyes as he was wrapped up in a mysterious power. When he took another look... his overalls looked like they were replaced with overalls made of stone.
"What in the- WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

Elsa grinned sheepishly and raised a finger. "Maybe not the best approach."
Then she jumped back a step when Wario was shrouded in light, his outfit turning to stone. "WHOA! That was crazy! Haha!" She beamed at this new development. "Now you're like... reverse me!"

Wario had to think on that for a minute. "Huh... You've got-a rocky skine and normal clothes, I've got normal skin and rocky clothes!" he exclaimed. Every step he took mad a loud, dusty clomp, the man apparently much heavier now than originally.

"Heh... Still." Elsa tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Shiny orbs covering people in light usually do more than just instigate a wardrobe change. Can't hurt to experiment, now can it?"

Wario took a moment to think about that possibility. The only other time he knew someone's outfit to change as suddenly as this, it was when either Mario or himself managed to grab a power-up. So what kind of power-up was this?
In a sudden fit of excitement, Wario flexed his huge muscles for all to see, generating stone around his hands. With a good thrust downward, he created a crater in the ground, only noticing his new gloves afterward. "...Ooohh... This is-a very good!" he smiled, sticking his orb into his pocket. "It's like I'mma splitting apart the world without effort!"

"Whoa-ho-ho, nice!" Elsa chuckled. To her credit, despite her excitement, she did have limits. They hadn't been hit quite yet, but if the total damage got too high, she was gonna step in. For now, though, this was getting interesting. "Looks like you have some of my abilities too. There's gotta be more to it, don'tcha think?"

Wario took a moment to consider what she was saying. "Hmm... Maybe when we find that temple place. I could care less for authority, but now's not exactly the time to get people after us," he admitted, trudging along.
