After chuckling at Ed's antics, Toby quickly looked over the menu, shrugged and said to the cashier, "I'll just take a chicken enchilada, a side of black beans, and a medium drink."

Chrys looked over the menu quietly.
"Two pulled beef tacos with sour cream, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and white cheese with a medium drink?" She asked.

The woman at the counter nodded, typing in the orders. "I see you're friends with our delivery boy," she offered, ringing up a total. "$13.95."

"Heheh... Yeah, as of just recently," Toby chuckled, pulling out his wallet and handing the cashier his credit card.

Chrys chuckled as she walked with Toby.

"Yeah, Ed's a good kid. A bit unruly, but a good kid." She handed the pair fairly big cups- this place's medium, it seemed- and put in the Okay on the computer screen. "Alright, your food should be out pretty soon," she offered.

"Thank you." Toby took his cup and nodded to the cashier before heading over to the drink fountain to pour himself an iced tea. All the while, he told Chrys, "So, um... Last time I saw him, Ed said he wanted to help with the Præt'nos issue. I-I appreciate it and all, but I don't know what he could do, and I don't want him to put himself at risk. I... don't really know what to say to him."

Chrys nodded and accepted her cup. "Well... we could use all the help we can get. As I said I might pull Mom into this. She can fight," Chrys offered as she filled the cup with ice and some off brand of Dr. Pepper.

A crash was heard in the back. "ED! WHAT WAS IT THIS TIME?!?"
"Just yesterday's wrapped tacos!" he explained. She sighed, heading back there with him.
"At least it wasn't something important. Come on, let's pick them up." The back became relatively quiet after that.

Toby just cast an awkward grin at the counter before walking off and taking a seat at a table. "Yeah... I just don't know if he understands what he's getting himself into." With a light shrug, he added, "So... your mom, huh? I kinda remember you mentioning her. Think she'd hear you out on this?"

"Miss Snider. And yeah. I think she would," Chrys offered calmly. "Real mom is kinda dead to me...."

Ed soon came out, carrying a small trey with their orders on it. He set it down for them, walking back to the back. "You guys enjoy your order! Call if you need something."

"Ahh... Right... Gotcha..." Toby nodded in understanding, then looked up and smiled at Ed and their food. "Thanks, man!"
After taking a bite of his enchilada, Toby continued, "So... I guess what I'm looking for more than anything right now is suggestions. Theories. Since there's no guaranteed way to kill them, the most we can do is ensure that they don't succeed in absorbing the island, and they're going to fight for their goal relentlessly. What we need is a way to drive them off the island. Permanently, if we can manage it."

Chrys gave a small smile to Ed. "Thank you," she offered before he attention returned to Toby.
"Would warding spells and tags work?" She offered. "We start placing the seals in the cemetery and then set light traps where needed?" She offered before trying her taco.

Ed's head just turned as he was walking off. "Warding seals?" he asked. "You gonna try to ward the demons away?"
"Ed, you mind helping me cook?" He looked back, charging into the back area of the fast food joint. Fortunately it didn't seem like there were any crashes.
