Ranuen blinked, hearing the tone in Frosty's voice. "Errr... everything okay.... Frosty?" He asked. It almost sounded like she was disappointed.

Paul chuckled, his smile sympathetic. "Yes, sadly... It seems that he's not particularly comfortable in this environment. But hey, we can stay as long as you guys like. I'm in no hurry, and it's nice to catch up."
Kenny just shrugged. He could go either way.

Ranuen blinked at Frosty. "It's not.... err... pain." He stated. "I just don't like the cold. But it's great to have made a new friend!" That part was definitely true. Ranuen met very few people he could call his friends in recent years. It was nice to meet an exception to the rule. "You could also come down with us!" He exclaimed at Frosty. "If not today then another time to visit!" He added.

"Yeah, whatever makes you happy," Paul agreed, his grin widening again and his tail swaying. "Like I said, though, I'd be happy to stick around for a while if it's alright with Kenny and... Mr..." He chuckled awkwardly. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure if we caught your name."

The crystals on her body briefly shined, the sprite smiling. "Frosty visit later," she smiled, still trying to hand off the tiny visitor without grabbing hold of him. She might have been primitive, but she wasn't mean.

Ranuen climbed onto Frosty's hand to allow himself to be handed off. Wasn't exactly his preferred mode of travel, but then, he supposed it was better than going down the mountain via gust of wind or something. Hmmm. He once heard someone talk about "skiing". That could be something to try one day. Then again. That'd also mean coming back to some place snowy. No thank you! "Well, I mean. If you insist. I'll look forward to your visit! I... don't really have a home yet, but I'm sure I'll work a place out. Then I can come back here and let you know where it is!" He told her, cheerfully. Realizing he hadn't given his name, Ranuen grinned. "Oh! Sorry! My name is Ranuen." He told the two. Well. The three.

"Ranuen. Nice to meet you," Paul chimed, offering his hand for transfer. "Just tell us where to go and we'll happily acquiesce. I know I'm up for anything. Kenny?"
"Yh. Whdhbr," Kenny cheerfully replied with a shrug.
Paul ruffled Frosty's hair with his free hand. "We'll be back, I promise. And you can come around anytime. Kenny and I are in the hotel in the city."

"Ho, tell! Ho, Tell!" she sang, placing the small man into her draconic friend's hand. "Fun! Lots of fun!" she called, waving bye before walking her way through the snow. Her broken manner of speaking was a certain oddity- wonder if it's just her, or others of her kind are the same way...

Ranuen smiled at Frosty. The sprite... at least he thought she was a sprite. Had a very endearing manner to her, and he was glad to have met her. He rather did hope that he and Frosty would meet again sometime in the future. He glanced up at Paul. "It's fine. I don't know where you're headed, but once we're off this mountain I'll be fine to find my own way." He stated. Ranuen was a guy who was all about the journey, not the destination. He'd make an exception today, but he always hated letting his size put him at a disadvantage as to what he could do on his own.

"Yeah, loads of fun!" Paul laughed as he waved back to Frosty. "See ya around!"
As he continued the trek down the mountain, Ranuen seated in his palm, Paul shrugged and replied, "We weren't really headed anywhere in particular, to be honest. We were just planning on hiking up here and heading home."
Kenny shrugged and grunted optimistically. He was still willing to do whatever Paul wanted.
"But hey, whether you wanna take off somewhere with or without us, I won't object." In all fairness, Ranuen had made it this far on his own. Paul trusted that he could handle himself just fine.

"You mean the city?" Ranuen asked. "Yeah! That'll work fine. I can plot out my next adventure from there." He decided. "Maybe somewhere warm. I've had quite enough of the cold on this mountain!" He said. Conveniently sneezing at that exact moment for emphasis.

"Oh yeah, man, no problem!" Paul cheerfully replied. "Y'know, in terms of warm environments, if you're feeling really adventurous, there's a rainforest on the south side of the island."
"Nd mm dssrt t' dh wst," Kenny added.
"Yeah, that too. I'm sure you'll find your way around!"
"M'vnchlhy."
Paul cast Kenny a smirk out of the corner of his eye, half teasing half scolding.

A desert and a rainforest... "Sounds like fun!" Ranuen exclaimed, making a mental note to check them out. "Deadly creatures? Lethal traps?" He inquired. "Maybe ancient ruins?" All the sorts of things that made for awesome adventures! "But yeah. City first I suppose. I appreciate the lift." He added, though his mind was now racing elsewhere.

"Yeah, bound to be plenty of that fun stuff!" Paul chuckled, nodding with gratitude. "Happy to help."
Kenny simply shot a thumbs-up. And with that said and done, the duo made their way towards the city, carrying Ranuen towards his next adventure, whatever it may be.
