Well... Maybe some time off with Erin would do her some good. Her little scene at the party at least shown that Erin could understand further how to look after her. When to let her have privacy. How to lift her spirits and get her talking again... Or at least attempt to when she had the energy. Alex had some experience with Evan in this state, so he knew that the road ahead would not be easy... Not for anyone involved...
".... I'm grateful I'll have you and the others though Yang~... We're going in with more muscle, more minds and that's so encouraging... You don't know how much so..." .... He cuddled in closer to her, feeling her chest on his. "You especially... I look forward to working with you~."

I truly think I can do it... I think we can do it together~..." ..... He pulls her in close. "I think we can all do it together. Lizzie, Erin, Ryan. Evan, Swift, Old!Beth, young!Beth, Nora, all of them... And you and me..."
....... He leaned in forehead on her chest. ".... I'm still not all that confident enough.... But... Thank you... Thank you for sticking by me regardless... Being believed in, so completely, was.... It's a great feeling~...."

Yang's kiss first touched the top of his head... Then, in response to it, he lifted his head up to return the kiss... "I look forward to meeting her by the way. I've been hearing nothing but good things at this point~." He starts snickering. "She's a cat faunus right? Have you ever seen her do something cat-like? Like say playing with yarn or the somesuch~?"

"Does playing with a laser pointer count? Also.... don't give Blake catnip unless you want to film the results be cause that is actually kinda funny," Yang offered. "Play with yarn... not so much but she does knit when stressed."

Alex nodded in understanding, rubbing Yang's back gingerly. "So I've seen~." He kisses her nose. "Still, I look forward to meeting her~. She should be an interesting person to get to know... And it'll be cute watching you two interact again~."
He lets out a breath as his hand brushes down her back. "Hmm.... Still... Once Blake gets here, that'll be the entirety of Team RWBY on our side. I wonder if any more will be coming after that? Losing Team RWBY would definitely be a noteworthy occurrence at Beacon."

"It would be and I'm willing to bet Dad, Uncle Crow and all of the Schnee family are hunting for the rest of us," Yang answered. "I kinda hope the rest of Nora's team comes through.... I know it's not nice to wish that on their team but.... Nora could benifit from having her team here with her. Or Team SSSN. You'd have fun with them."

"Hahaha~." Briefly, Alex tried to imagine any of those characters finding their way here. The Schnee family would be out of their depth, Qrow would probably LOVE the chaos, the rest of Nora's team would likely find some way to settle in, and team SSSN? Sun would probably see this place as a virtual CANDYLAND of new experiences.
"Well... Whoever comes next... I'm sure it'll be a fun time~... Plus... It'll be nice to see you smile some more." At the look of confusion, Alex chuckled. "When you reunited with Ruby, I couldn't forget that big smile of yours~. You hadn't seen your sister in years, so getting the chance to see her again? You looked so happy~."
The less said about where Alex's hands were now, the better.
"And... Hey~. You know me by now. I love seeing you smile that widely, that happily~... It... Let's me know that I'm doing okay. It lets me know that you're doing okay~."

There was a smile... Then a light yawn himself as he caught hers. "Phew.... Yeah... We... Should probably sleep....." He chuckled to the blonde haired girl, kissing her dearly. Once done with that, the couple seperated. Alex's expression was a dreamy one, with a big goofy smile. "This was fun though~...."
..........
Then his next expression. Hopefulness. "Think we could do it again sometime~? Sure we can have other kinds of dates, but... This kind of thing was really nice too~."

There was a gleeful smile on Alex's face as Yang cuddled in close. The two shared a kiss and slowly started to drift off into blissful sleep... "Good night m'love~... See you in the morning~."
And it would be a happy morning indeed.
