Blake nodded and quietly pulled a small device from her pocket. She blinked seeing a backlog of messages.
"Well those weren't there this morning," she offered as she flipped between applications on her device. "So that means their at least in this place. Maybe not this village but here."
Deciding to forego the backlog, she went into her pictures and pulled up one of her three teammates with just what looked like a bow in the bottom left corner. "This would be from 3 days before Yang, the one in yellow, went missing.

Robin put a hand to his chin, eyeing over the picture. "I see... well. Someone like that would probably stick out, I'd imagine. If they're not around here, it might be better to look for a larger city; I'd imagine that even if your friends aren't there, someone is there who would've seen them."
And now his mind was going into overdrive, essentially. "Though... you'd need to know if there are any other big cities nearby..."

"So asking the locals is our best shot," Blake offered. Her ears lowered in annoyance as her mind went back to the backlog of messages.
Knowing Yang and Ruby it could be entirely possibly they sent out information to help the Faunus adjust. Blake pulled out her device again and went to the messages.

Robin's hand remained where it was as Blake began going through her messages. He was... slightly confused about the nature of the device she was using, but shook his head slightly, turning to talk to one of the locals nearby.
...Afterwards, he turned back. "...Well, they talked about a big city to the west of here, but not much else. That was... rather unhelpful, honestly."
No information about distance or anything like that, just a general direction.

She looked up. "My teammates sent me information. Just not directions or distances..." Blake offered as she pulled her hand back. "Have to thank Yang for the over abundant amount of said information. After smacking her for leaving."
The device was soon switched off and tucked into a coat pocket.

"One of those kinds of friendships?" Robin chuckled. "I can relate. At least I got some directions. Seems like west of here is our best bet. I know we don't really know each other, but if I may accompany you, a duo traveling is probably safer than going alone."
The white-haired man offered her his hand. "What do you say?"

"I'd appreciate the accompaniment," Blake offered accepting Robin's hand. "So temporary partners then?"
The way she said the word partner hinted at just working together and nothing more.
Her ears twitched after letting go. "May I ask what you're reading?" She gestured to his book.

Robin was fine with that. After what he'd been through, the army wasn't really a major part of his life anymore, despite his position. Things were peaceful, thankfully. A partnership was necessary for this, though... the white-haired man was brought from his thoughts by Blake's question.
"Ah... it's a tome, actually. A spellbook. I use this to fight." He held it up. "It's a powerful spell called 'Thoron'."
That actually brought up an interesting question... "How about you? How do you fight?"

Blake gave a ghost of a smile.
"Yes. I can fight. And if we get in trouble, I'll show you," she offered gesturing to the odd item on her back. "My weapon is called Gambol Shroud. It's a Varient Ballistic Chain Scythe."

Now he was confused. Very confused. "A what now?" That sounded like absolutely nothing like anything he'd ever seen. "...Never mind. I'm sure I'll be able to see it for myself eventually. Shall we?"

Blake nodded. "Sounds like a plan," she offered before taking a step forward.

Robin walked in step with her, the man's robes flowing slightly in the wind. He set them on a walking course to the west. He had no idea what awaited them, but he was confident that he could handle whatever showed up. After what he'd been through, he thought he'd seen just about everything.

Blake let her cat ears swivel and twitch to make sure nothing would ambush them.
"So what is your home like?" She asked as a gold eye looked over to her current walking partner.

That got a smile to the man's face. "I'm from the continent of Archanea... the Halidom of Ylisse. My best friend, Chrom, is the ruler of Ylisse and I'm his right-hand man... it's a fairly peaceful area; fertile land. It's a nice place to live.
Robin returned the gaze. "Certainly was worth fighting for."

Blake nodded. "You fought for your home. That's an honorable thing to do," she offered. The cat Faunus gave a small smile. "Good to know you can fight at least."
