Tispio. What's Tispio? Glad you asked.
The entire thing is called 'The Tispian Universe' - TTU. It's composed of connected and ultimately critical related stories, called arcs. In an arc, select groups from the cast (Muse) are put in varied settings, and put through trials and culprits unique to the setting, mechanics, and conflicts involved (Realm), all according to the terms and forces that run the show (Lore).
These are the nuances employed by Creators - beings formed by stories that yearn to be told, who reside in fortresses on the rim of creation itself and meticulously compose these Arcs. TTU's fortress is the Gauntlet of the Gods, housing Alexandra - and several other Creators. But Alexandra is bound to false laws and foul powers beyond her control, limiting her capacity to create and putting her in grave danger.
It falls on the shoulders of various messengers and allies across her seventeen iterations to discover the root of these forces, free her, tell her story... and somehow pull that off while keeping everyone alive.
In short... Meta BS transpires, forcing a progressively more homosexually-inclined cast to unravel their inner demons, confront their harsh pasts, and become their strongest selves to confront it. By the end, everyone's a weird surrogate family in the absolute best of ways.
