Full Name: Epros
Nickname(s): Phantom Evil King (Former), Phantom King (Current), Wierdo (By Stan and a number of others), Hamlet (By COUNTLESS OTHERS)
Age: Unknown (PHYSICALLY he looks in his mid-thirties, though he’s still fairly scrawny)
Height: Tall and lithe, standing at about 6 foot 2.
Weight: Unknown
Gender: Neither (Goes by male pronouns, but it’s hard to get a read of what he truly is.)
Race: Potentially a Phantom-?
Alliance: True Neutral (Can really swing one way or the other, though it’s hard to tell if this is because he means to or because he can have moments of ineptitude.)
Home: The Wastelands of the Realm of Classification
Franchise: Okage Shadow King
Physical Description
A very odd fellow with very pale skin, and an almost wirey figure, which seems to further compliment the heavy purple eye shadow over his eyes and the groomed blonde hair, giving him the basic appearance of something akin to a doll. Is typically found in very flamboyant suits of varying colors, though his favorite and most normal attire is a suit with a checkerboard style on the top half, black and blue diamonds flowing down to a black and white striped coat-tail, opening up to baggy red pants and black dressy shoes. Very often, Epros’ expression is somewhat blank, attributing to his wide red eyes and the somewhat vacant smile. But don’t let this fool you, Epros is easily one of the most cunning of the former evil kings… To a certain degree of evil anyway.
Weapons and Accessories
The Joker of Diamonds Deck, a versatile deck of cards made to both damage and dazzle enemies. Enemies hit with these cards or seals from these cards have a chance of being briefly dazzled and dizzied by the attack, leaving them open for Epros to finish them off in a hurry. Along with the Joker of Diamonds he also carries the Ace of Spades deck, a powerful deck that is said to be capable of defeating any enemy with both skill and finesse. Epros tends to be so skilled with his cards that enemies, monsters and ghosts often think they are being subject to an impromptu magic act mere seconds before they are beaten within an inch of their lives.
Epros also wears the Conjurer’s Tux, a particularly powerful magi-craft showman’s tux that was made to withstand magical power of great capability, allowing Epros to survive even the most dangerous of shows… But of course, this already adds to the man’s innate skills which allows him to live up to both his former and current title as the (Former) Phantom Evil King.
Abilities/Powers
As his former title explicitely states, Epros is a member of the race of Ghosts, monsters that inhabit the land of Classification and curse any good people they can get their hands on. However, even then, Epros fits in a very peculiar position in the ghost race where he has magical capabilities and yet still holds onto his mind and intellect from whatever sentient mortal life he once had. As a phantom, Epros can hover off the ground, sometimes outright fly, and has slight telekinetic capabilities which allow him to attack with his cards even when he is standing completely still. These abilities also mix with the ability to phase through walls, and seemingly teleport short distances.
However these are just Epros’ casual capabilities… HIS ABILITIES IN BATTLE ARE A WHOLE OTHER ANIMAL.
Epros will often appear as an enigmatic and somewhat dorky trickster, whom wishes to obtain knowledge from any source he finds, however, one should never underestimate this showman as some of his magical capabilities are just as terrifying as his former title makes the figure himself sound; Such as the Soul Bind, a magical ability that can transform an enemy into an item of any kind by Epros’ specifications, essentially robbing his victims of their bodies, their minds and their lives entirely. On top of this Epros can also be fairly vampiric in nature, with abilities like Drain and CONSUME which allow him to steal stamina and endurance from his enemies with a powerful inhale, sucking up life energy with startling efficiency.
And if you make him really mad? Beware of his trick plays and his actual attack specials. The attacks Cringe and Cower can put 1 enemy or a whole group respectably on edge and force them on guard, and follow up with either Random, a spell that can inflict random magical effects on enemies for varying debilitating effects or use his magics to create his infamous Red and Blue Masks, powerful visors that allow him to either SEAR HIS BURNING EYES INTO HIS ENEMIES SOULS (Red Mask) or Freeze enemies completely in place with an icy glare (Blue Mask).
Needless to say, Epros completely deserves his Phantom King title, and there are hints going around that he will only get stronger as he creates new masks…
Weaknesses
Thankfully for many however, Epros does tend to have fits of bumbling outside of fights where-in he backs the wrong horse entirely and will take dumb choices over any choices that may seem smarter in retrospect. This creates an interesting conversion of the Anti-Hero where it’s up to the viewer to decide whether Epros stumbles his way through life or his stumbling is just part of his plan. Still, one can’t deny that the Phantom King, while invulnerable to physical attacks, is also weak to magical capabilities, particularly those of the holy variety.
Skills
Due in part to the powers of Classification and being classified as the Phantom Evil King, Epros was made skilled with waxing poetic and Shakespearean dialogue, which has led to much confusion from his old party of traveling companions. However even after the classification was stolen from him, he continues to write poems in his spare time, many of them Shakespearean in theme and execution, and may or may not be notes as to where he keeps coming up with his Rhyme speak. He is also a practitioner of magic and continues into it’s studies even long after he’s become a master of the art.
Personality
Showy, flashy, fru-fru, Epros lives for theatricality and uses it in every walk of life. However unlike most magic users in the trade that practice their trade to grow better or stronger, Epros practices magic in the ever expanding quest for knowledge seeking out answers to an unknown riddle that plagues his mind. A riddle about his own existence, what he truly is and what sort of being could be his equal. Epros can be a fairly silly person from time to time, but it is important to note that for however silly Epros is, there is still a very credible level of menace to the character due to his unusual abilities, and the lack of knowledge regarding how he truly feels about other people around him. Even his original traveling companions were subject to this, with Epros only joining because Ari’s place in the world of Classification was an enigma, as the seemingly unforgettable boy simply COULDN’T be classified no matter how many times the world’s resident god tried, and that it was because of this anonymity that none of the other heroes were affected by this malevolent being.
All the same, Epros is an odd one. Really hard to read, really hard to predict.
History
…….. Really… Not much can be said about Epros’ history because nothing about him is actually KNOWN. All that is known is that Epros made himself known during the age of Classification, when the Kingdom of the world was ruled by it’s refined and somewhat bratty Princess Marlene, seemingly appearing for the sole purpose of stealing one of the several shards of power belonging to the former Evil King God Gohma (Whom, due to these powers being stolen, would reincarnate into the being known as Evil King Stan). Whatever the case, Epros played his role well, offering Ari and his friends stiff competition to get these powers back…
However, whether by Epros’ direction or his blundering, the group followed him into the wastelands on the edge of the world where Epros, showing fascination for Ari’s role in the events, joined the team as they went on to take on the god of Classification. After his defeat, each of the party members left to do their own thing. Epros went on to continue his research into the world, though he is closely pursued by the former Teen Idol Evil King Linda, whom has formed feelings for him. Needless to say these feelings are not returned due in large part to Epros wishing to focus on himself more than someone else.
Other
And his search for answers continues as he follows a trail into Dimensional Island…. Why his trail has led him here he knows not, but all he knows is that the island is an intriguing sight, and he would hate to miss out on seeing the sights…

And I shalt continue writing my story, one bright enough to see!"
"Haaaah, I am indeed a sight am I not?
And my rhyming skill cannot be taught!"
