Physical Description
Kaze is a tall young man with a lean build, purple eyes, and green hair. Kaze’s hair reaches to about his nape in length and flows rather smoothly, and he has a generally calm, soothing look to him.
Kaze, upon arrival, has on his ninja garb. It consists of a sleeveless green tunic with a black long-sleeved undershirt, exposing his chest; a purple sash with a tied white belt, black pants, black shinguards, black sandal-like boots, black gloves, a purple scarf, and a pair of black gauntlets with large spikes. He additionally wears a black, circlet-like headband.
Weapons and Accessories
Upon arrival to the island, Kaze is in possession of a Steel Shuriken, a moderately powerful shuriken from his home world, though its heavier weight slightly impedes his ability to attack rapidly. Upon a successful strike, the target will experience a slight drop in physical strength, defence, and magical resistance.
He also carries with him a Vulnerary, a low-strength healing potion. The bottle carries enough potion for three applications.
Abilities/Powers
Kaze is a regular human. Anything he can do is more of a skill.
Weaknesses
As mentioned above, Kaze is just a regular human. He’s not particularly strong or durable.
Skills
Kaze is trained in the art of ninjutsu, and as such is skilled at going undetected- to the point that he can even seem to vanish in a crowded area. As a side effect of Hoshidan ninja training, he is also adept at household chores, such as peeling potatoes, painting fences, and polishing armour. He is also skilled at the use of shuriken and daggers, though he prefers the former.
Kaze comes with a few combat skills. His protective nature manifests in the form of his personal skill, “Miraculous Save,” which has the following effect: “Save supported unit from lethal attack if HP > 1. Trigger % = (target’s Lck stat)” On the island, this translates to Kaze being able to shove someone out of harm’s way or intercept the attack with a thrown shuriken.
His second skill, “Locktouch,” is much simpler: “Allows the unit to open doors and chests without keys.” Kaze’s ninja training is made evident here, as he can easily open most doors without needing a key.
(UPDATE 08/10/16) With the regaining of his poison kit, Kaze has re-learned the skill "Poison Strike", which has the following effect: "Enemies lose up to 20% HP after any combat this unit initiates." When he initiates combat, Kaze's weapons deliver a toxin, cutting into his opponent's health upon a successful hit.
While unaware as to when he learned this skill, Kaze also possesses the skill “Vantage,” which has the following effect: “At start of combat, if HP=50% or less, always strike first, even when attacked.” When wounded to below half vitality, Kaze becomes more aware of his surroundings and is able to get the jump on any would-be attackers.
He is additionally a passable cook, with a tendency to make food on the crisp side.
Personality
Kaze is a calm and collected man, with a deep sense of loyalty towards those he respects. His kindness causes him to be popular with women, though he is unaware of this- though it could also be attributed towards his own humility. Kaze thinks rather poorly of himself, holding himself responsible for the kidnapping of Corrin and Corrinne.
When around someone he does not regard as his superior, however, Kaze can be surprisingly teasing and lighthearted… while pretending to be completely serious.
History
Kaze was born as the younger twin brother to a clan of ninjas that served the royal family of Hoshido. When he was a child, he accompanied King Sumeragi, Prince Ryoma, and Prince Corrin to what was supposed to be a diplomatic meeting with King Garon of Nohr. The meeting quickly soured- Garon had archers unleash a hail of arrows into Sumeragi, killing the king, and then kidnapped the young Corrin. Kaze never stopped blaming himself for the kidnapping.
Many years later, Kaze, alongside the Flame Tribe warrior Rinkah, would end up being taken prisoner by Nohr. Brought out into the throne room of Castle Krakenburg, he and the other prisoners were due to be executed by a grown Corrin… and that name sounded oddly familiar. Corrin spared the prisoners, and then Kaze and Rinkah were attacked by Leo, and then ordered to escape.
Shortly after, Rinkah knocked Corrin out, and Kaze revealed to Corrin that he was actually a prince of Hoshido. He helped the young royal fend off a swarm of Faceless, and later, after the explosion of the Ganglari sword, some mysterious invaders. The group of Hoshidans would then march out to the border, where Corrin had to make his fateful choice: Would he side with his blood family, or the family he lived with all his life?
At the Branch of Fate, Corrin chose Hoshido, and Kaze helped fight off the Nohrian siblings. He accompanied Corrin and his allies in their campaign to march into Nohr and kill Garon. Along the way, Kaze confessed his feelings to Azura, and the two were wed. This marriage, however, would be short-lived; after fighting the wolfskin of Mount Garou, an earthquake struck, leaving Kaze and Corrin dangling over a fissure… Hinoka was also there, and there, Kaze made a fateful choice of his own…
Kaze threw Corrin up to Hinoka and safety, although this meant letting go. He fell to his death, and in his last words, proclaimed his loyalty to Corrin… And that was his end.
Meanwhile, running concurrently to the above…

Corrinne spared the prisoners, and then Kaze and Rinkah were attacked by Leo, and then ordered to escape.
Shortly after, Rinkah knocked Corrinne out, and Kaze revealed to Corrinne that she was actually a princess of Hoshido. He helped the young royal fend off a swarm of Faceless, and later, after the explosion of the Ganglari sword, some mysterious invaders. The group of Hoshidans would then march out to the border, where Corrinne had to make her fateful choice: Would she side with her blood family, or the family she lived with all her life?
At the Branch of Fate, Corrinne chose Nohr, and fought off her siblings from Hoshido. Kaze backed away before the fighting began, unwilling to attack the princess. He became one of Hinoka’s troops, and alongside Hinoka, her retainers, and Rinkah, held the Rainbow Sage prisoner. In the Sevenfold Sanctuary, Kaze would cross blades with Corrinne, and while he was wounded, he, like all the other Hoshidans, was spared. While leaving, however, Kaze overheard Corrinne’s ideals, and would make his own fateful choice…
Kaze returned, and swore his loyalty to Corrinne- and to Nohr- knowing full well his actions would have him branded a traitor to Hoshido. He joined the Nohrian army, fighting alongside the rest of the soldiers- even clashing blades with his twin brother, Saizo.
During the night before the scheduled invasion of Hoshido, however, Kaze awoke in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in his chest and unable to breathe. While the pain passed and Silas had caught him, Kaze felt like he was dying…
He accompanied Corrinne and the rest of the Nohrians in their invasion of Hoshido, twice clashing blades with Saizo. He survived the war, and remained in Nohr, serving Corrinne as her retainer.
No. He did not.

However, each time a member of the Nohrian royal family was fought, Corrinne was with them… Kaze couldn’t bare to look her in the eye…
Along the way, Kaze grew close with Corrin, swearing his loyalty to Corrin as his retainer. After the battle against the wolfskin at Mount Garou, the earthquake once again struck, and both he and Corrin were dangling over a ledge…
This time, however, Kaze spotted a crystal, and desperate for a means to get Corrin to safety, threw a shuriken at it. The resulting blast knocked him and Corrin to the top of the ledge. Kaze then revealed to Corrin that he was present the day he and Corrinne were kidnapped… The following night, Kaze had a nightmare. He saw himself falling into the abyss, after having tossed Corrin up to Hinoka and safety… And it was such a realistic dream.
Kaze continued to accompany the rest of the Hoshidan army into Nohr, clashing blades with Corrinne. He kept his silence as Corrinne dueled Corrin after the death of Xander… And quietly wondered if, in another world, he could have seen them both live…
Garon was once again struck down, and peace returned, Kaze remaining by Corrin’s side as his retainer.

He joined up with Hinoka’s army, and once again at the Sevenfold Sanctuary, Kaze made the radical decision to pledge his allegiance to Corrinne- and Nohr.

At the festival disaster that saw the death of Queen Mikoto, Kaze assisted a band of Hoshidan warriors and a transformed Corrin and Corrinne in fighting off some unknown forces, and following Azura helping the twins return to their senses, accompanied Ryoma to the border to meet a Nohrian invasion. The Branch of Fate had come again, and Corrin and Corrinne would once again be forced to choose between their blood family and their adoptive family…
Except this time, Corrin and Corrinne refused to side with Hoshido or Nohr. Kaze, stunned by their choice, backed away when the Hoshidan and Nohrian forces began their fighting anew, ending up at Fort Jinya with Sakura. When some time later, Saizo tried to kill Corrin, Corrinne, and Azura by means of setting himself on fire, Kaze and Sakura stepped in, convincing Saizo to stop, before joining in themselves.
Sometime later, Kaze recognized a smoke signal sent up by Saizo, and while he explained it meant to stay away, Corrin and Corrinne charged into Mokushu to assist Saizo, and Kaze, like the rest of the army, witnessed Saizo kill Kotaro, the corrupt daimyo of Mokushu; Kaze would later learn that Kotaro had killed his and Saizo’s father.
He continued to travel with Corrin and Corrinne’s army, watching as they gained allies and grew in strength. When Ryoma and Xander called a truce at the Bottomless Canyon, Kaze had this feeling that this truce could grow into more.
But when he jumped into the Bottomless Canyon, Kaze would land in a world that nobody would have dreamed of...
