Cat rolled her eyes at the mention of Sam. Understatement of the friggin' millennium.
With descriptions out of the way, Cat pointed to Rio's name, then to the Plaza again. Then she stood up, facing the city and crouching in preparation for a leap while still looking at Alex and Yang over her shoulder. This was a girl... bullfrox... on a mission, and she wasn't about to slow down.

Hmmm, so Rio was their wizard huh.... Well, that information could come in handy if this plague was some sort of magical enchantment... Still, before they could even get that far they would need to have the actual CURE for this junk, otherwise they wouldn't get anywhere. If Yang and the others found this........ 'Rainflower' underground then...
"More on that later. Right now, we need to get the cure for this before this spreads somewhere we CAN'T cure it." Yeah, heaven forbid this somehow got offworld. They needed to cure this thing and they needed to cure it FAST. He turned to Cat as she prepared to hop off TOWARDS the Aflutterfly horde.
...........
He snapped his fingers. "Cat, right? Do you think you can catch Rio somehow?" ? "Listen, we need to be FAST or else this could get WAY OUT OF HAND. so here's what we're going to do. If we need Rio to help us cure this, capture him and.... You know where Yang lives right? Take him there. Hopefully by the time you do this, me and Yang will have managed to get this cure from Rainflower."
The game hasn't even started yet and he was already back in the driver's seat.
"Make sense?"

"We're going to need Cat. Rainflower is the only one that can return her to normal," she offered as she started to try to stand up again.

Well, that was as solid a plan as she was gonna get, it seemed! At Alex's proposal, Cat offered a hard stare and the best thumbs-up she could manage with her webbed paw. She then reared back and prepared to hop to it, but as soon as Yang spoke up, her built-up energy exploded out of her with a jerky forward motion, a startled expression, and a croaking sound that was oddly reminiscent of screeching car tires.
Cat then whirled back around and desperately waved her arms in protest, shortly thereafter jabbing a finger at Rio's name again. He undoubtedly had the power to change her back to normal, and she would've rather stuck with a tried and true method than trust that happy-go-lucky turd of a fairy with her wellbeing. For the time being, Cat was willing to put up with being a bullfrox if it meant getting Rio back sooner.
She was just about to take off again when something else crossed her mind, prompting an exasperated sigh out of her. In a much calmer fashion, Cat waddled up to Yang, pointed to herself, tugged at Yang's shirt, then pointed in the direction of the caverns. Hopefully that message came across.
Finally, with another thumbs-up, Cat started hopping towards the Plaza and the glittering mass that was starting to engulf it, flyswatter in her mouth, determination in her eyes.
This too was going to suck.

Alex took note of Yang's concern and then Cat's insistence. "Well, while that may be true, it looks like Cat will be fine keeping to her task. All we can do is hope she'll be fine." He then looks to Yang, taking her hand. "In the meantime, we'd better get going. The longer we stand here talking about this, the more this horde grows. And if it gets any worse, it won't just eat the island, it'll eat up tons of other worlds too. We should go NOW."
He made himself clear by going ahead of her to where he knew they would find the entrance to the Underground and trying to prompt Yang into following.
After all, it was like he said; They didn't have enough time...

Yang nodded and soon followed. Alex had proven to know the island better than anyone else.
