Subaki is a slender young man with bright red hair and a fairly well-kept outfit. Every little bit of his appearance is meticulously put together, sorted to perfection, as per his standards.
Weapons and Accessories
Subaki comes equipped with a Steel Naginata, and a Javelin. His Steel Naginata is a reliable weapon, if a little unwieldy and slow; its design is more defensive than a typical lance, boosting his defense and resistance by 1 when wielded. His Javelin lets him fight both at close and distance combat, but makes him more likely to be rapidly struck, and makes it harder for him to rapidly strike, and impossible to critically strike.
Abilities/Powers
Subaki has no special powers, being an ordinary human.
His combat skills, however, are as follows.
Perfectionist, his Personal Skill, encompasses his ideals in one skill; when his HP is at full, his Hit and Avoid get +15. When he’s fighting perfectly, he is more motivated.
Darting Blow showcases his agility as a Sky Knight; its effect is as follows: When user initiates combat, Effective Speed +5. This makes him more likely to strike quickly and is a good offset to the effect of his Steel Naginata.
Camaraderie is a useful ability to help him get Perfectionist’s bonus: When there are allies close to him at the start of a turn, he heals for 10% of his HP. It’s a bit of a mental relief that lowers stress on his body, helping him recover slightly.
Finally, while he doesn’t remember learning it, he also has the Vantage skill, which always lets him strike first, even when attacked, when his HP is below 50%.

Subaki often comes across as aloof and even arrogant at times, but that’s not really the case. He simply tends to mask things, given that he doesn’t like the idea of others seeing him at his less-than-perfect. His family’s traditions have weighed hard on him, and doing something less than perfect stressed him out quite a bit, as he sees that as an insult to his family’s legacy.
History
Subaki was born to an upper class Hoshidan family, known for serving the royal family for generations and for doing everything with grace and skill. That fueled him for much of his life and lead to his becoming the perfectionist he is.
Naturally, when he came of age, he served the royal family as well, being selected by Sakura to be one of her retainers. He worked with her for quite a while to the time when the long-lost royal sibling was brought back.
In the times where the Yato stayed in Hoshido, he fought alongside his liege and the others, working to bring about peace through fighting back against Nohr and marching into their territory.
In the times where the Yato left for Nohr, he fought alongside Sakura and Yukimura, but was defeated and captured, though he escaped being killed at the hands of Iago and Hans. He would serve Sakura again after the war’s end, changed by what happened.
During the time neither kingdom was chosen, Subaki followed his liege and supported the twins as best he could, ultimately jumping into the canyon, and arriving somewhere foreign and humid...
