Full Name: Arthur Harold
Nickname(s): N/A
Age: ? (Early thirties assumed)
Height: ? (QUITE tall)
Weight: ? (A bit on the heavier side due to muscle)
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: FOR JUSTICE! (And Elise, of course)
Home: Nohr
Franchise: Fire Emblem (Fates)
Physical Description
Arthur is a tall, muscular man with slicked-back blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. His outfit consists of the standard Fighter class outfit, essentially a series of leather armour with a metal collar and boots, a belt with an H-shaped buckle, and a skintight blue unitard underneath.
Weapons and Accessories
Arthur arrives with a Steel Axe and a Hand Axe. His Steel Axe is respectfully powerful, though it slightly impedes his ability to attack rapidly due to its weight; his Hand Axe can strike at both a distance and up close, although its awkward construction prevents him from striking rapidly, scoring critical hits, or triggering offensive skills, and he’s more likely to be rapidly attacked while wielding it.
Abilities/Powers
Arthur has astronomically bad luck, which has proven to be contagious to an extent. Aside from that, however, he’s a normal human.
Weaknesses
As mentioned above, Arthur is astronomically unlucky; if something bad can happen to him, it will. Aside from that, he’s limited the same way a human is.
Skills
Arthur has studied martial arts, and as such is good in a fight. He is also trained in the use of axes and clubs, though he has a preference towards axes.
He has a few skills that manifest in combat. His bad luck translates into his personal skill, Misfortunate, which has the following effect: “Enemies within two spaces get Ddg -15. This unit gets Ddg -5, however.” Essentially, his bad luck is contagious towards the enemy, making them more prone to being hit with a critical attack than usual, although this also applies to himself.
His next skill, HP +5, is much simpler. This makes Arthur more durable than he normally would be.
His next skill, Gamble, is a risk/reward skill, and its effect is as follows: “Causes Hit -10, but grants Crit +10.” Basically, he swings his weapon with less regard to accuracy and with more force, causing it to be less accurate but more prone to landing critically.
His final skill, Elbow Room, is one that Arthur doesn’t remember learning, and its effect is as follows: “This unit deals +3 damage when fighting in a space with no terrain effects.” Basically, when he’s unimpeded by terrain such as brush, he can hit a little harder.
While Arthur tries to cook, his luck once again interferes, with the results usually described as being made recklessly.
Personality
Arthur is a self-styled “Hero of Justice,” with the grandoise manner and to go with it. He enjoys protecting others, and will be the first to leap into a situation where others need help. He is also surprisingly perceptive; while he may come off as comically obsessive about justice, he is actually aware of the fine points- including the subtle but important differences between justice and vengeance.
However, this is usually spoiled by his comically bad luck. While he dislikes it, Arthur is used to it and remains optimistic regardless.
History
Arthur was born in a small Nohrian town, where his parents taught him that justice was doing what his heart told him to do. At some point in his teenage years, Arthur witnessed a young Azura run away after being mistreated by Garon’s concubines, and realizing what had happened, lied to the guards to protect her, resulting in him being whipped on the spot.
In timelines where Yato stayed in Hoshido, Arthur would team up with Camilla, her retainers, and Effie against the Hoshidan army, believing them to have kidnapped Elise. Once he died, but the other time he survived thanks to Elise explaining the situation to him and Effie.
In the timelines where Yato went to Nohr, however, Arthur was dispatched to Corrinne, alongside Effie, Elise, and Silas, to make sure she got through the Woods of the Forlorn, and accompanied Corrinne’s section of the Nohrian army until the end of the war.
However, when both twins refused to choose a side, Arthur and Effie followed Elise from Castle Krakenberg to Dia, meeting up with Corrin and Corrinne. He stayed with the group, but when it came time to jump into the Bottomless Canyon, he arrived somewhere humid… and completely infested with mosquitoes...
