"Yeah, I... figured as much. Guess I'll just use this suit to recharge every now and then." Toby screwed his face up a little when an awkward thought crossed his mind. Maybe he would have to sleep in this suit...
"But, uh... Yeah. Like we said. Training day, huh?"

Chrys nodded as she warmed the pan once more. "Yeah. I kinda want to figure out how to make wings out of the shadows... I kinda miss having those..." she offered.

"Not sure how you'd go about that..." Toby offered honestly, brushing his fingers through his hair. "The thing with shadows, at least how they work for me, is that they have to remain connected to a source in order to sustain themselves in a lit environment. I guess if you figured out how to attach your own shadow to your back... maybe... but that would probably be way too complicated... W-Whatever, I'm getting ahead of myself."
He smiled at Chrys and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "I'm gonna hit the bathroom. Once we're all set... guess we'll get started."

"Okay," Chrys offered before starting to eat her food. A few of the tendrils gathered her notes and a few other things.

With a slight nod, Toby left Chrys to her breakfast and retreated into the bathroom to fix himself up.
In privacy, he stared at himself in the mirror, taking in the Shadae suit in full. He hardly had any reaction to it beyond a long sigh, and really, that was more because of the circumstances. He already had enough to worry about with his and Chrys's powers being switched, but Enlightenment's presence brought as much frustration and confusion as ever. There were too many questions to wrap his head around, and he was still had a long way to go to learn how to use the powers he currently possessed.
There was really only one thing Toby knew for certain: It was going to be a long day.
