"So, the man with the white hair and the long coat? His name is Robin?" Felicia inquired. Corrinne gave a weak nod.
"Y-Yeah... He's like a nicer version of Leo... Urk..."
Something caught the manakete's eye. "Felicia... what's that...?"
"Eh?" The maid replied. "This?" she said, holding up a small kit.
"Yeah, that's it... Kaze, is that your- he's still out, isn't he?"
"I'm afraid so, milady."
Corrinne glanced down at the still-dozing ninja. "Kaze... Kaaaaze." Apparently the nice way wasn't going to work.
Corrinne's slap registered a 2.1 on the Richter scale. The green-haired ninja made a sound that one would assume was a suppressed scream. "W-Wha?! I'm awake! There was no need to hit me! I'm at your service!"
"Actually, there was a need..."

Corrin winced as Corrinne woke Kaze up. That had to hurt. "Felicia found your poison kit. There probably isn't much that can be done for Silas, and I know this Hex will wear off on me eventually... But we should probably give her that antitoxin."
Jakob nodded, using his Rod to heal up Silas some. "Indeed. The less use we need for our staves, the better. I'm not sure when we'll be able to get more."

"We should try to find Lilith, too... hopefully she came too..." Corrinne stated as Kaze searched the kit for the antitoxin.
[Kaze has regained the skill Poison Strike]
"... Here we are," Kaze said, handing over a small bottle.
"This is all?" Corrinne asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's a very potent antitoxin. You need only take a sip."
The white-haired woman shrugged and took a small sip from the bottle, before handing it back to Kaze. "T-Thanks..."
"You are most welcome. It might take a moment to go through your system, but it will purge the toxin from you."
"Alright..." Corrinne said, slowly standing back up. "... How do we get out of here again?"
There was an awkward silence.

Corrin was at a loss... but a voice rang out.
"There you are!" A few bolts of lightning crackled from a sword, and Robin walked into view. "I've been searching for you. I didn't have much luck finding the others, but I see you found some folks. Pleased to met you all."
He bowed slightly, smiling.

"Oh! Robin! Nice to see you again!" Corrinne greeted with a wave. Though you could have arrived earlier, she thought.
However, rather than voicing her complaint, Corrinne gestured with her brother to the other four members. "There's four of us... Robin, these are Felicia, Jakob, Silas, and Kaze," she said, pointing to each person in turn.
"Nice to meet you in person, Sir Robin," Felicia said, bowing slightly. "Jakob and I were already employed at the hotel when you arrived- we just saw you leave!"
"Pleased to make your acquaintance," Kaze said, bowing politely.

"Yes. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Jakob adjusted his lapel slightly, bowing to Robin.
Robin blinked slightly. "I see... You don't look well. What happened?"
Silas spoke up. "We were attacked... our enemies were using some odd weapons."
"Odd weapons? Well... I'll take a look. Follow the path northwest to get out of the woods. I'll catch up."
"If you insist," Corrin said, nodding. "Be careful."

"We'll met up with you... I guess at the Hotel again?" Corrinne simply stated.
As the four piled out, Corrinne stopped and gestured to Corrin to keep moving. "Brother, you go with Silas, Jakob, and Felicia. I need to talk to Kaze."
"O... kay then?" Felicia said, baffled by the order, following the other three out of the forest...
She then turned to the green-clad ninja. "Kaze," she said, her voice unusually serious.
"Yes, Lady Corrinne?" Kaze replied. They both took a moment to make sure they really were alone...
"Stay behind and watch Robin. It was almost too convienient that he saved us from the Vallites- urk! I don't quite fully trust him... Surely you feel the same way?" Corrinne said in a low tone.
"While I was not present, you have a point. Are you suspecting he may be in league with them?"
"... I don't want to say yes, but I do. It's suspicious..."
"Very well. I shall monitor him." Kaze replied.
"If he asks, say you're just making sure he gets out."
The two parted ways there...

Robin was kind of wishing he'd brought a Torch with him. He was inspecting the battlefield, finding a few weapons that had been left, though no bodies. That was understandable, though; he'd seen what happened to the invisible soldiers when they were defeated. He saw a few tomes, but all of them had symbols that... while not quite exactly what he knew, seemed normal enough. "Fimbulvetr... Ragnarok... How odd..."
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary here...

"Hey, sorry about that," Corrinne said, having caught up with the rest of the group. "I had Kaze stay behind... To make sure Robin gets out."
There was something about how she said that...
---
Kaze had indeed stayed behind, on Corrinne's orders.
But not merely to make sure Robin got out of the forest.
The ninja watched as Robin examined the fallen tomes, remaining silent.

Corrin seemed... a bit suspicious. Jakob gave Corrinne an approving nod, though; he seemed to understand why she did it.
"Alright then," the Butler said. "Let's make our way back." ____
Robin picked up one of the Poison Shuriken, carefully inspecting it. "...How odd. I've never seen a weapon like this. Did one of the invisible soldiers use this?"
He held it up with two of his fingers, inspecting the weapon. "...How in the world would you even fight with something like this?" His eyes seemed to scan over the weapon. "...This hardly seems like a strong weapon to use..."

"A ninja's shuriken isn't winning any awards for brute strength," Kaze stated, unofficially announcing his presence, unaware of the fact that he had scared ten years off Robin's lifespan.
The ninja simply kneeled down, checking the other shuriken. "It will, however, sap your strength, and it's the perfect vessel for delivering a toxin."

Robin screamed. He'd gladly admit that. "G-Gods! That... haah... haa..." He took a slow breath. Even Gaius had never done anything like that before. "...You're... Kaze, right? I... don't have any experience with these... shuriken. We don't have anything like this back home. ...I'm guessing that one of the twins sent you?"
He folded his arms, not making any sudden movements. He had a feeling he'd get attacked if he did.

"You would be correct. Lady Corrinne was concerned if you would make it out, so she sent me," Kaze replied, keeping his expression neutral. And to keep an eye on you...
"You're not familiar with shuriken, I take it. I don't blame you; it's a difficult weapon to master."

"Well..." Robin set the weapon down, looking at the ninja again, making note of his green hair. "I've never encountered anyone who uses a weapon like this before. Ninja... that's what you said, right? Ninja... don't exist in the world where I'm from. Really, the closest thing to one would probably be... a thief that was part of our army, named Gaius. He eventually became an Assassin using a Master Seal, but he fought with swords."
What a curious weapon this was. "I can see why you'd use these, though... it's quite the useful tool. You can fight up close and at range with these? I'm sure you Ninja are very versatile..." He seemed to get lost in thought a moment. "So you serve Corrin and Corrinne? Thank you for watching over me; this darkness is a lot harder to see through than I anticipated..."

"While I am not sworn as a retainer to either twin, I feel a deep sense of loyalty towards them, so I suppose one could say I serve them," Kaze replied. The faintest hint of a smile was visible on the ninja's face. "The ninja of Hoshido are, indeed, versatile..."
