"Oof! Ow! That hurt!"
What appeared to be a humanoid with pale green skin, a mop of pale hair, a dark green outfit, and odd greenish-gold wings fell out of a portal, landing with a cloud of dust. It groaned, scratching the back of its head. It stood up with a groan, dusting itself off.
"Well, that landing could've gone better. Wonder where Stymphy is... Wait, where the hell am I?"
Perdix whipped his head back and forth, not really noticing the... odd looks he was getting. "Lady Bennu said this was the place where the weird energy was! But it feels... oddly calm. They even have shops like the ones back in Ave! I wonder if they sell fried flies here?"
The green-skinned angel started walking, ignoring the hot pavement below his bare feet. "Maybe i can find out more about the weird energy! Or the missing ones. Whatever that means. I have to do this! Lady Bennu entrusted me with a very important task after all! And I, Perdix Vulcanus, will bring back the missing ones AND a report! ... Who the hell am I supposed to be looking for?"

(ooc: Hope it's okay if I drop in here ^^; If not, feel free to delete this post.)
Things had been going pretty well for Ranuen over the past few months. Barring his unpleasant run-in with the angel, Panty Anarchy at Club Lobazotah during his initial arrival in the world, nothing particularly bad had happened to him on account of his height, and he'd begun growing confident enough to begin trying to work through the spell Brandish had cast upon him ages ago. With nothing particularly awful happening lately, he didn't have nearly the same concern as he used to have of being caught at his shrunken height, deprived of magic. As a result, Ranuen was actually the height of a normal human for once, as he wandered the Plaza of Void City, in an attempt to train his magical power. Hey, same concept as running long distances right? You run 10 miles long enough, eventually you get enough endurance to run 11 miles, and then 12 and so on and so-forth! Ranuen was attempting to apply the same logic to resisting the spell. Sure right now he could only resist it for around an hour at a time, but who knows? Maybe if he went for enough of these walks, he'd be able to resist it longer over time.
But that's merely what brought Ranuen to the scene. The setting of his arrival, if you will. Now, in a place like this one, seeing unusual beings was not particularly unusual in and of itself, as the city was home to so many different kinds of people. An angel in and of itself was not something that Ranuen had never seen before. Still. The obsessively green being, still caught his eye. As did the emerging from a portal, suggesting a possible new arrival. The magic swordsman approached the green angel, with a raised hand. Maybe he could kill some boredom while he was around by meeting and greeting. "Hey there. New around here?" He asked, attempting to interrupt the angel's internal monologue.
