Selena Madaki is a savannah cat who is a bookworm, a fanfic writer, and a pervert. Despite this, and due to a misunderstanding with someone she has a crush on, she adopted the appearance of a genki girl, approaching everything with a faux joviality that she lacks in her own life.
History
She was born to two loving parents who eventually broke up, her mother moving and taking her to Baton Rouge, Louisianna. She grew up as an outcast, looked down on everyone in her classes due to how intelligent she was. When she first started noticing boys, she had to find a way to put it out of her mind, and so started writing stories of an erotic nature. She's well-known online, but she tries to distance herself from that as much as possible, not wanting to be the target of ridicule once more.
She put on a persona of happiness and naivette, seeing how many people enjoy that kind of person and trying to see if that would gain her some modicrum of happiness, herself. It probably doesn't hurt that it seems to be the best way to get Rod to be friendly with her. Though, with the lack of attempts at any other course of action, that's not saying much.

Her family is from Africa, but she never specifies where. She works at a bookstore, but she technically does more by coding a game online with other people.
