She'd been aware of the feeling of falling for a while now... somehow she'd gotten separated from her pegasus during the fall. Something felt off...
Suddenly, she hit the ground with a yelp. Pain. That was pain. Ow...
"...Now I remember why I don't like the feeling of falling..." Hinoka groaned slightly, pushing herself up off the ground with a cough. "Urgh... where are we...?" She looked around groggily... before she realized that 'we' was just her at the moment. "...Aw, hell..."

The sensation of falling... It was foreign to her. She hadn't fallen off her wyvern like this since she was a young rider...
Camilla hit the ground, groaning slightly. Picking herself up from the rough landing, the purple-haired woman took in her surroundings.
What appeared to be crumbling earth. A sunrise over the... horizon, apparently. Two figures, too far away to make out any more details...
"How strange... Is this where we were supposed to land?"

Hinoka coughed again as she staggered to her feet, taking a few slow breaths, trying to get her breath back... she was fairly familiar with this feeling but it had been quite some time. She had heard the voice, though... "Thank Gods I'm not alone... urgh. Camilla, is that you?"
The red-haired woman shielded her eyes with a hand, making her way slowly over towards where she'd heard the voice... the air felt fairly cool, and humid... they were close to a body of water, probably.

That voice; it was familiar. Trying to keep her steps light, Camilla made her way over to the voice's origin. From the corner of her eye, she saw a purple smoke. She gripped her axe tighter, finding it... oddly familiar...
"Yes, Princess Hinoka, it is I."
Figures shrouded in the smoke made their way, some with mounts, keeping their wings as still as possible...
Without hesitating, or even changing her serene expression, Camilla swung her Steel Axe, knocking back what appeared to be a simple Ninja. "Alas, it appears as though we have friends..."

"Oh, well that just figures, doesn't it? It's never simple, huh..." She sighed softly, pulling her Guard Naginata out, standing in a ready stance. She wasn't used to fighting dismounted, but... well, she had no choice.
"Nothing we can't handle."

Hinoka took the initial moment to try and scope out the battlefield... much easier said than done. "I... damn it, I can't see much... all that weird purple fog is kind of blending together..."
There was a crumbling sound around them... and part of the ground just fell apart near the two. "Gah!"

"Could you girls use some help?" called another as a third female came up onto the bridge. An odd silver rapier in hand as she looked to the pair. "Not every day fog like that rolls in."
The woman wasn't really all that impressive but still had an air of confidence about her as she adjusted a black jacket.

When the ground collapsed near the two princesses, Camilla took a step back. It appeared as though it just... fell into nothing. "Oh, my... Going to have to be a little careful here. Wouldn't want to fall into the abyss, would we?"
When a second Ninja showed up from the purple fog, the lavender-haired princess smashed into it with her axe, sending it back... and into the abyss below... "I'm not averse to sending these nasties down, however."
When the third woman showed up, Camilla regarded her with a slight raised eyebrow. "Oh? And what would be the name of this darling person?"

Hinoka grimaced a bit at the thought, but nodded, tripping an incoming Samurai and sending him down after the Ninja. "That sounds like a pretty solid plan..." At the newcomer's question, Hinoka eyed her over. "...I mean... well. What do you think," she asked Camilla. "I wouldn't mind some help against these... things... whatever they are."

"The name is Beth, dear," she offered as she stabbed an incoming Spear Fighter. Beth soon jumped into the air as the Spear Fighter and the tile she had been standing on fell to the abyss. "Well that's new. Even Losai didn't crumble like that..." Her instance didn't leave her without a scratch through the jacket and shirt she had been wearing.

"Beth? What a lovely name... It suits its owner," Camilla replied, her serene expression not leaving her face, even as a splint appeared in her eye...
"You've been naughty!" With a mighty swing, a second Spear Fighter got the full force of Camilla's Steel Axe, its body dissolving into the purple fog, leaving no traces. However, the ground where it had once stood... It simply crumbled away. "Oh, my. It seems as though we'll run out of room at this rate-"
A deafening roar was heard on the horizon, although the purple-haired woman did not seem fazed by it. "Marzia? Come here, darling dearest!"
One of the figures on the horizon, appearing to be some sort of wyvern, was making its way towards the three women.
Sounds could be heard from the wall behind them...

Hinoka grimaced again as she felt more of the bridge crumbling around her. She was running out of space... but she could see Catria flying her way. And... a purplish figure riding a wyvern, with a sword... strange, but she wasn't going to complain.
"Hrrgh! I won't lose!" Stepping back, Hinoka took a running jump, landing atop the wyvern and driving her Guard Naginata through the Wyvern Lord's chest, before jumping off, spinning her weapon in the air and whistling. Her pegasus flew over quickly, the princess landing on the winged horse's back. "There we go! Thanks, Catria." She pet the horse's mane, chuckling, before flying back towards the other two. "Now this ought to make things a bit easier, wouldn't you say?"
The sounds were getting louder, and they could faintly hear voices as the wall began cracking a bit. "...How stra... really..."

"We can hope," Beth offered as she hovered about. Her eyes trained on the purple army in front of them. Part of her was watching the bonds between the soldiers and her two new allies.

"I'd say flight would make this battle much easier," Camilla replied, though turning towards the wall. But then... she spotted something glowing yellow...
"Hmm, I wonder..." Walking over to the strange light, Camilla focused...
Dragon Vein: Earth
Some of the ground shifted; pieces in the back fell away, only to replace some of the crumbled land near their position...
"This could also be useful." Catching sight of a black, unmounted wyvern with glowing red eyes, she made a running start, at what appeared to be a pegasus rider with a sword drawn... How strange, but Camilla didn't pay it much mind. "Say night-night!" She jumped, slamming her axe into the spectral pegasus's neck, using the momentum to return to the air, landing on Marzia's back. "Let's go, cutie-scales," she said, scratching behind the wyvern's frills. "I'm looking forward to this."
It was then, with a somewhat loud crash, that part of the wall gave way as... Selena and Azama tumbled out of what appeared to be a tunnel.
"What a pain..." The redhead groaned, pulling herself to her feet. "Sure, we're out of one mess, but now we're in another!"

Azama dusted his robes off as he stood up, holding his Sun Festal. "Perhaps, but look at it this way; for once, Setsuna's mishaps actually got us out of trouble. Wonders never cease, mm? I do believe our lieges are locked in the throes of battle as we speak. Shall we hasten to their aid? Ah, you first, Selena. You're the one who does the swingy-stabby thing, after all. I will watch your back."
Hinoka blinked. "Azama?! What happened? Where's Setsuna?" She flew over on Catria, grasping her Naginata.
"On her way here with the silent one, I'd wager. She triggered a trap that got our group away from a group of those invisible soldiers, though we did get split like this. It is good to see you not dead, my liege."
"......Charming as ever, I see," Hinoka sighed. "Alright. Let's get to work!"
While she took a strike from another sword-wielding Wyvern Rider, she was able to kill the soldier on her counterattack, and Azama patched her up like it was nothing.

Beth gave a quick wave to the new arrivals before darting into the fray. Her focus was on the enemy as her rapier started to spark to life with odd silvery blue runes. "Time for you assholes to freeze!" she called out before stabbing the rapier into the ground. Ice spread across the crumbling squares.
