Alex couldn't help but puff out his chest slightly at Yang's declaration. "Alex is the name. Alex Colvard." He smiled simply as he places his hands on Yang's shoulders. "Though this girl may refer to me as 'hers', and many of my friends and rivals may take to calling me 'Worst Thief'." That gets an odd look out of Skylar and Sweetie. "By title, I'm a god like figure known as the Thief of void. Which means I have powers over the realm of nothingness, and am fully capable of traveling back and forth through it, along with manipulating it to such an extent that I can use it as a weapon."
One could tell that the explanation sorta flew over Sweetie's head...
So Alex clarified. "Essentially, my power allows me to do stuff like this."
He opens a void portal on the shelf display and a display box tumbles into it....
A moment later he opens another one and the box flies out above Alex's head, allowing the thief to catch it before dispelling both portals. "And THAT'S just the beginning~."

A larger portal appears by his leg, drawing a curious look from the ponies. Then a golden figure tumbles through it in a blur, stopping only when it slams into his shin. Dazed, the newcomer slowly stands on all fours, staggering off to one side, glass clinking in its bags and wings spread to try and keep balance. "I'll... get you ye..." She collapses into a display, making the games there fall on top of her. "...ow..."
Skye blinks twice, then turns to look at Alex, brow furrowed. "...did you do that on purpose?"

Yang blinked at this. "Ummm... May I ask who you are?" her attention was on the new arrival.

?!?!?!?!? "OW!!!"
Alex started hopping on one foot trying to keep weight off his shin as he rubbed it tenderly. After a second of awkwardly hopping about, he remembered that he could hover and started doing that yeowching as he rubbed the prominent bruise on his shin. At Skylar's Question, he gave her an unamused stare. "OH YEAH, SURE I TOTALLY Summon up ponies from the AETHER every time I demonstrate my powers! Yep! Plus I also TOTALLY make them aim for my shin because HEY why not throw in a SPEED MEASUREMENT TOO WHILE I'M AT IT."
Upon saying this, he looked down at the pony, then at the store worker, who was clearly looking at the mess of games in both bewilderment and annoyance...
One thing at a time.
He decides to focus on the pony.
"No... This one came out of a rift from another world..."

She rubs her head, looking to the voice that actually addressed her. She blinks once. Twice.
Then she squeals and launches herself at the girl. "Big sis! You're okay!"
Sweetie stares blankly, not quite sure what she's seeing. In the end, she can only say one thing.
"What?"

Yang gave an even more confused look. "Okay... The only beings that call me sis are Todd and Ruby... Forgive me for asking or sounding rude but who are you?" Yang asked. This was a first for the brawler. Someone she didn't recognize calling her 'Big Sis'.

......... ......... Alex looked at Yang oddly... Then back at the pony. "...... 'Big Sis-'?" He asked, looking more then a little confused. He looked over the pony, noting that she looked oddly familiar as well... But why? Where had he seen those characteristics before-?

The pony actually looks a little hurt at the girl's words. "What, you don't..." She jumps back, pointing at herself with a hoof. "It's me, Compass Rose!" Her brow furrows, and she swiftly shakes her head. "Wait, no, Daring Do! Darn it, Sky, you got me doing it!"
The pony girl is utterly baffled at this. "...wait, what did I do?"
"You got me saying it, too!" She points at her, then let's it fall a moment from confusion. "...wait, what? When did you become a full horse?"

Yang sighed. "Well Daring. May I asked what your timeline consisted of?" She offered. Yang was not getting frustrated much like she had during initiation at Beacon. "And I think that means that there was a Faunus counterpart to yourself on her team, Miss Skye."

At Daring's blank expression, Alex decided to step in, pulling opening up a portal and likely startling her a fair bit. "I'll try to simplify this as much as I can Daring, so hopefully this helps."
He pulls out a blackboard and places it on the ground, pulling out a piece of chalk. "Now, let's say this single line here," Alex draws a line on the chalkboard, then points to it, "Represents the flow of time. For example, let's say this is your timeline here."
He looks Daring over, the Pony seeming unsure. "Tell me a bit about yourself... Compass Rose wasn't it? How did you come to live in Yang's world and call her your sister? Don't skimp on details."

She brightens up almost immediately at this, sitting down so she can gesture freely with her hooves. "Oh, that's easy! Dad found me in the woods, when we all were very young! I'm the youngest, though, and Yang and Ruby liked playing with me, we went out once to go find her mom..." She trails off, grimacing a bit. "...I probably shouldn't have tried fighting those Beowolves, as tired as I was, but still! It was fun!" She turns to the blonde girl with a warm smile. "When I went to Beacon with all of them, we met Blake, and I had Big Sis promise to help me find her a special someone before she'd get one for herself!" She glances between the two of them, frowning softly. "...apparently she broke that promise."
Skye speaks up, curious. "And... what happened before you got here?"
"Oh, I was chasing that jerk in the mask that cut off her arm..." She finally notices how the limb in question is still in place on Yang's body. "...oh."

"You went after Adam Taurus? What made you think that was a good idea?" Yang asked. She seemed annoyed at this fact. "He not only cut off your Yang's arm but also stabbed Blake in the stomach." She noticed the look towards her still there arm. "You're not the first to notice I'm a Yang that didn't see Beacon Fall."

..... Hmmm, he supposed he should've figured...
"... As you might have guessed, there's more differences in your timeline then just Yang losing her arm." He went back to his board and started making notes, on the far right he dotted the 'line of time' noting it as 'Adam attacks, Daring follows'. "Now for the sake of argument, let's go ALLL the way back to where your story seems to start. Right about here." He then dots the line on the far left, labeling it as 'Compass Rose found and adopted'. "Now starting from the earliest point in your story, let's make a wild assumption... And say you DIDN'T show up in the forest and were adopted by Ruby and Yang's family."
He drew another line skewing off from that certain point and labels it as 'No Compass Rose Timeline'. "From there you get a somewhat different sequence of events, though by the looks of things at least a number of things stay the same, such as Adam attacking Beacon among other things. Constants and Variables in other words."
Alex put away the chalkboard and looked to Compass Rose. "Sorry to be the one to tell you this Miss Rose. But our Yang here isn't the one you know."

"...you think I don't realize that?" She sniffs, rubbing her muzzle with a fetlock. "I just saw my big sister get hurt and I was helpless to stop it. I just... I wanted to hurt him so bad... to make him pay for what he did..." She looks up at Yang, her rose-colored eyes watery. "When I saw you, I was hoping that everything was a dream... but this all feels too real... and now Sky and Blake are facing Adam without..." She trails off, eyes widening in horror. "...wait, w-what? She... she gets stabbed?"

Yang took a breath. "Sadly. Just after the arm slicing... but you might have prevented that but chasing him off," she offered before patting Daring's mane. "Sorry for getting angry but if my Ruby had done something like that- I would have the same reaction. And she kinda did..."
Yang pulled out her scroll and pulled up a recent picture of her team.
