Physical Description
Obsidian is rather tall, with a toned body, somewhat tanned skin, and red eyes, although she usually keeps her eyes closed. She has shoulder-length white hair with red streaks, which spikes up at the back. Under her eyes, over the bridge of her nose, and on her shoulders and thighs are red markings, and she has a generally cheerful expression. Her outfit is... rather unusual, so the picture is a better description.
When shifted, Obsidian takes the form of a white and red, nine-tailed fox approximately the size of a grizzly bear, with red eyes, sharp teeth, and clawed paws.
Weapons and Accessories
Obsidian has minimal use for a weapon, due to her transforming abilities.
Abilities/Powers
As a fox pelt, Obsidian has the ability to voluntarily transform into, in her own words, "a big, scary, man-eating fox!" Her senses, even when untransformed, are also higher than any normal human's, especially in regards to smell and hearing.
Weaknesses
Like all pelts, Obsidian has no magical ability whatsoever, and is weak to magic-based attacks. When in her fox form, she also takes extra damage from anything meant to kill animals. Due to her canine nature, chocolate is also toxic towards her.
Skills
Obsidian is a skilled and scarily competent tracker and hunter, capable of trailing all but the best-hidden of paths, and capable of bringing down creatures several times her size, both transformed and untransformed. She is also a decent cook... once you get past her tendency to add human parts to everything. Finally, she is also good at reading people, especially men, due to that being her main way of bringing food to her people.
Personality
Obsidian is playful and flirty, especially around men. A prankster, she enjoys causing trouble for the sheer hell of it. Charming, Obsidian could lead most men astray with ease... That being said, she has a cruel streak towards human, and takes joy over slowly killing her human prey. Her pranks are also rather cruel towards humans- her preferred being offering people three food items and a piece of human meat, neglecting to mention that the three "food" items are really cleverly disguised pieces of human.
However, her nature towards humans is a result of wanting to keep her people fed. While rarely pursuing the "right" path, Obsidian lacks any care about morals so long as her people don't starve. She is also capable of reining in her maneater tendencies... should she be given a good reason.
History
Obsidian was born as the first nine-tailed fox to the fox clan of Mount Ijuf, and was named clan leader as a result. From a young age, the burdens of the clan were put on her shoulders- a role that she embraced with childish enthusiasm. Using her looks, Obsidian excelled at luring people into the Death Forest- children when she was a young kit, and progressing to men exclusively as she grew up.
In one of her outings, Obsidian fought over her kill with a dragon pelt named Flint... Only when the pair were attacked by a strange force. After fighting off their attackers, Obsidian heard of Flint's mission, and gave him the kill as proof. They met in secret several times after, although neither one has confirmed nor denied romantic feelings. She also got to know Flint's sister, Val, and their boss, Seeker, during these meetings.
One day, Flint had vanished with his sister and boss, and Obsidian went looking for him. Putting her sister, Pumice, in charge of the clan, Obsidian went through a strange portal in the Ode hunter base...
