Wario and Bryn were tugged apart mid brawl, their eyes wide and scared at the tendrils holding themselves in place.
"Uh, yeah, sensible's nice."
"Very-a good idea, girl."
"I agree, great idea!"
Solace quietly snorted in the back. It seemed she was having too much fun with this.

The huntresses hiding behind the table frowning at the turn of events, the taller one crossing her arms as she closes her eyes in concentration. If one were paying attention, they would notice that the doors and windows faded from view, melding seamlessly into the walls.
Daring, unsure what the heck was going on, uses her small size to her advantage as she makes her way to Paul and Lark with ease, stopping in front of him and looking at the two of them. She then shrugs and leaps at Paul, hugging one of his arms tight, grinning apologetically. "Sorry, we need to hear all the sides."
Enigma blinks, looking around as he's stuck to the wall, and, seeing Seeker wrapped up next to him, gives a small smile. "You know, this is actually more comfy than I expected."

"Who summoned Emrakul?" Bolas commented at the sight of the tendrils as Artemis took cover behind an overturned table.

"Almost there almost there al- AUGH!?"
Before he could make it to the door, Lark found himself tackled to the ground by Paul. The impact of the tackle sent them both flying a short distance, and Lark's bow to go flying. The weapon, out of it's owner's reach, dissolved into silvery wisps before simply vanishing into thin air. "What's the big idea, brah?! I'm an innocent man- a few arsons and flings notwithstanding! Lemme go!" And then came Alaric. "Sheesh! Talk about overkill! lemme go, or I'll be forced to, uh, use force." He mentally cursed his own physical fragility, but there was a gleam in his eye...
Seeker simply rolled their own eye at Enigma's comment. "I've had more cozy conditions in the mountains. But anyways-"
"THEIA!"
A beam of light was launched at Seeker, who had barely managed to activate their anti-magic field in time, although this did not fully dispel the tendril holding the eyepatched individual. They winced at the light spell, using their one eye to glare at Percy, who was pointing his sword at them.
"Sheesh, Perce," William said, grabbing the slight teenager by the shoulder in an attempt to prevent further casting. "But I agree with the scary one that summons tendrils that not even Seeker can fully stop."
"He's after Lark."
"Well, maybe Lark actually did something, or maybe she just needs his help...?"
"Oh, sure. Like Seeker ever needs help beyond Flint and Val."
As the pair argued, Lobo seemed to be dialing something on a phone. His long ponytail dangled over the bartop.
Making their voice as loud as possible, Seeker spoke.
"Give me the one with the white hair, and I will leave in peace. I will pay for the damages sustained- hunter's honour." They seemed sincere enough...

"Sorry. Just trying to help..." Paul hoarsely squeaked. His back was still uncomfortably sore from taking those bullets, not that Lark seemed to realize that he had, and Alaric and Daring pouncing on top of him certainly wasn't helping matters.
He looked up at the door, only to realize that it had apparently vanished, leaving nothing but wall. Given Paul's experience in this club, he got the distinct impression that wasn't the case and this was just an illusion, but regardless of whether or not his exits had truly been blocked, the people trying to restrain both him and Lark were enough to throw a wrench in his plans.
Paul looked at Alaric, then Daring, then leaned down slightly and sharply whispered into Lark's ear, "Looks like I'm not getting ya outta here anytime soon. Can you meet me somewhere?"
"HEY, HEY, HEY!!!" Soon after the light spell was cast, Kelsey summoned yet another shadow tendril to wrap around the arm Percy held his sword with. "DID I NOT JUST SAY TO CUT IT THE F*** OUT?!!"
"Emrakul?!" Tri shouted, not that anyone besides Kelsey could hear him. "I resent that, ya NERD!!!"
Once everything had settled down again, Kelsey turned to face Seeker, who had calmly struck up a bargain. Again, for the white-haired guy that Paul –and apparently a few others– was guarding. In all fairness, it seemed reasonable enough. Anything to stop the senseless violence, right? Well, call her crazy, but Kelsey wasn't exactly keen on the idea of handing over someone she didn't know to someone this openly aggressive.
"Why?"
Kelsey stepped closer to Seeker, her ice blue eyes staring intently at the one-eyed being. "What did this guy do that would compel you to enter a public establishment and threaten to shoot innocent bystanders just to get to him? And don't tell me it's none of my business. You made it EVERYONE'S business the minute you started shooting up the place."

"Thank you for the assistance Mr...." Alaric paused, uncertain how to address Paul. In any way, shape or form. So instead, he let his hunter instincts take over, and, looking at Lark, he reached into the inside of his coat, and procured a six barrel magnum which he pointed at Lark. "If you're innocent, then you have nothing to worry about sticking around, do you?" He challenged, using his free arm to continue to help Paul keep Lark pinned down. "Nobody is going to let that man kill you until we've sorted things out."
Meanwhile, Ranuen addressed Seeker, along with the others, as Seeker proclaimed he'd not cause trouble if his quarry was handed over. Ranuen glanced over towards the door where he saw Paul and Alaric appeared to be restraining Lark effectively, and then back to Seeker. "To be honest, even if you say that.... what are you going to do if we just say no?" They outnumbered Seeker considerably, and the tendrils of darkness had been doing a pretty good job of restraining him.

"Never underestimate someone, fellas," Jack offered, finally hopping down from his seat.
Bryn was sweating a little. "Even so, this Seeker person did some nasty stuff..."
"I say we let'em take the guy and be done with it," Solace shrugged.
"Says the tiny demon," Wario growled.
Solace raised a brow. "I'm not a-" she checked herself in a mirror- then her face started paling.
WHEN DID IT WEAR OFF?!?!

"Yeah, what they said." Enigma gives them a winning smile, then starts squirming, going faster and faster, his back sinking into the wall. "Be right back. Hate being constrained."
Daring, not seeing this, just looks at the gun Alaric is holding scant inches from her nose. "...is that really necessary?" She glances at the overturned table, knowing what her friend did and trying not to show that she knows. She has to make sure her concentration isn't disrupted, or who knows what they'd all be seeing.

Bolas soon stood up. "So far the sanest being in the room seems to be the one that summoned the shadow tendrils," he offered with a slightly annoyed tone. "And that's saying something. Now put the guns down, and we shall discuss this."
"Not like they're going to listen to you Boss," Artemis offered as she went to stand up.
The blue lion looked over to the pair before seeming to relax. "Need some help up fellas? I hate to say it but that dogpile can't be comfortable at all with how these floors are made."

"Why? Oh, believe me, for this man, I wouldn't hesitate to do worse." Seeker seemed nonplussed by it all. "Where do I begin... Arsons... A mysterious series of dead bodies on Mount Tsereve that cannot be attributed to the harsh conditions or wildlife... And he'll admit to them, too. Isn't that correct, Lark?"
"Bitch, it might be." Lark still seemed to be focus on something. The people piled on top of him might have felt a strange sensation coming from the white-haired man...
"That means 'yes.' But surely, it's a worthy bargain. You seem like a reasonable person..." With their attention on Kelsey, Lark was free to do what he wanted...
However, Percy and William had an idea as to what was about to go down. "Guess it's time to shake, rattle, and roll, huh, Perce?"
"So long as it gets my hand out of this tendril, I don't give a damn."
"I will say it again. Give me the one with the white h-"
"GROUNDBREAKER!!"
With that, the ground below everyone began to shake, as the floor split open in parts. Percy and William both fell to the ground and produced funny noises upon impact, although the former expressed relief at his hand's freedom. Seeker felt the tendrils fade around them, and Lark, now free, took a few steps back, grabbing his cloak.
"Hahaha! You'll never take me alive! Seeya later!" Lark began to swish his cloak in a manner that meant to cover him entirely, but he felt something- or somebody- or several somebodies grab onto his legs. Seeker gave a guttural cry and charged at the white-haired man, reclaiming their fallen gun in the charge, as Lark could feel a heavy clamp on his other arm as he, and his unwilling passenger(s) seemed to vanish into thin air...
...
"Okay, is everyone else confused or is it just me?" Lobo said, the shattered remains of what was once a phone in hand. "... HEY WAIT WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY FLOOR?!"
Percy and William exchanged nervous glances, before the shorter individual spoke up. "Apparently Lark and Seeker- the one with white hair and the psycho man with an eyepatch, respectively... Apparently there's more than a little bit of bad blood between them. Not sure why he wants Lark, but... Well, they ended up here. And you were all dragged into the crossfire..."

Paul flinched slightly and grabbed the barrel of Alaric's gun, pushing it away as best he could. "Can we... please... not do that? Can we stop threatening people before we know the whole story?"
He looked at Lark again, confused and concerned. The white-haired man seemed to be gathering his energy. Already, Paul had a feeling that he knew what was coming. "Uh... dude?"
Despite Seeker's response and Lark's sarcastic remark, Kelsey maintained her stone cold glare. Given what little information she had received, she wasn't sure what to believe, and she didn't want to jump to any conclusions based on what outwardly appeared to be little more than a rather intense grudge. Did this guy deserve punishment? Who was she to judge? She could honestly admit to committing those same crimes to some extent. She had no way of knowing how bad things really were.
At that moment, what Kelsey cared about most was keeping these bystanders out of the crossfire, but she still felt hesitant to comply with this lunatic's demands.
She turned to Tri.
"Fifty... forty-nine..."
She rolled her eyes and turned back to Seeker. "From an outsider's perspective, and not to pass judgment on anyone..."
"...forty-eight... forty-seven..."
"...I would think that someone with cause to catch someone with that kind of record..."
"...skip a few..."
"...wouldn't be so reckless as to stoop to their level to do it."
"...one."
BOOM
"GAH!!!" Kelsey stumbled back a few steps from the shockwave, her focus on the shadows effectively broken and the tendrils promptly releasing those held down.
Likewise, Paul, having braced himself from the moment the spell was announced, was thrown off of Lark and tumbled back a foot or two. Recovering quickly, he soon went into panic mode as Lark made clear his intent to leave. He couldn't just let him...! He had to be sure...! He promised Kelsey...!
"WAIT!" Without a second thought, Paul leaped ahead on all fours and grabbed Lark's ankle.
And then everything went dark. And cold...

Alaric looked at Daring for a moment. "Armed resistance, and abilities I don't know. I would say so. For all I know he could suddenly spit a fireball at us or release lightning from his fingertips. I want him to be aware there will be consequences if he does." But unfortunately, Daring had drawn away Alaric's attention from Lark for just long enough that he missed the telltale sign that Lark was trying something. By the time he heard Lark exclaim "Groundbreaker" it was too late, and Alaric was thrown off of him by the heaving earth, hitting the ground on his back with a grunt of pain.
Ranuen felt the ground tremble beneath him and split apart. "Yeeesh! What the hell is this!?" He exclaimed, realizing that it had come from Lark and had effectively dislodged his assailants. The ground was splitting between Lark and himself. While he might be able to leap it in a single bound, there were two people. Success or fail, he trusted Lark to the three that had dogpiled him. He had to keep his focus on the gunner! Seeker was trying to barrel past them. Ranuen let out a curse. "Oh hell no you bastard!" He exclaimed, maintaining his balance surprisingly well on the shifting ground and swinging his sword at Seeker as he rushed past in a swing intended to dissuade him from pursuing Lark. Ranuen had a well honed sense of balance. As long as he was braced and ready, little short of the floor flipping over was likely to knock him down. Still, it had offbalanced him, and a swing that was meant to bar Seeker's path instead would come in at an angle that it would only cause a notable, painful, but ultimately shallow wound along the other man's shoulder and upper arm if it successfully landed.
Alaric saw Seeker rushing past him again. With a final heave of effort he pushed himself up to his feet and lunged forwards, barely catching the hem of Lark's shirt. Nothing more. The next instant, there was simply nothing.
Ranuen, his attempt to stop Seeker failed, grunted in frustration as he witnessed Lark and his unwitting passengers vanish into the aether. "Shit!" He exclaimed in a guttural snarl. He heard Lobo exclaiming out, querying what the hell had just happened, and listened to the explanation. "Urgh... Inconsiderate bastards..." He growled, looking at Percy and William. "I don't suppose you two know any more than that that you might be willing to share?"

Solace was in a slight tizzy, trying to turn her illusion back on- apparently not really caring how many people had already seen her like this. Her eye gave a slight buzz, however, starting to track something that Lark was attempting to do... "...That violent sack of-"
Wario was, rather humorously, tossed straight into the air when the tremor happened, Bryn attempting to keep himself in place as everything started to crack, break or shift. Jack broke out the sticky fingers, Jumping over the expanding cracks and zipping the hand over toward the bar, clinging to it just as he was pulled on top of the smooth surface. "OKAY, the giant kaboom wasn't- WHAT THE-?!"
With a flash of blinding light, Lark had already vanished from the scene, both Bryn and Wario starting to get up from the earth rending attack. Solace, meanwhile, gave a smirk. Oh how I love this eye, she internally giggled. A teleportation spell... How juvenile to track.
...
Jack looked over at Lobo, still on the bar. "Confused... is an understatement..."

Enigma's eyes widen, and his wings grip the edge of the wall he was moving through. He grits his teeth as the shockwave hits, but quickly gets his bearings and launches himself through the air. In spite of the turbulence, he collides with Lark and latches onto his arm, determined to stop what he was doing.
The last thing he sees is another pony dragging an unconscious girl out from under a heavy table.

Bolas and Artemis were both knocked to the ground with Artemis landing on top of the elder dragon turned faunus.
The blue lion was thrown behind the bar from the shockwaves. "Oooooooowwwwwwwww," the large cat offered.
