Physical Description
Chann is a tiny, sprite-like creature with a large head and small body. He possesses distinctly wolf-like characteristics, namely his ears, whiskers and tail. He has big, orange eyes and a silver body with a white muzzle and belly, and dark grey patches on his ears, eyebrows, back, arms, feet and tail.
Weapons and Accessories
Chann himself does not use weapons, though he's certainly not above grabbing a blunt object to defend himself with.
Abilities/Powers
As is typical of kwamis, Chann can fly, phase through solid matter, and lift objects many times his own weight and size. In terms of the latter, he seems remarkably strong, even for a kwami. He also possesses possibly either immortality or great longevity.
When he enters his Miraculous, the wearer transforms into a wolf-themed superhero. This endows them with enhanced speed, strength, agility, senses and durability. They are also granted a pair of indestructible Sai, which can extend to indefinite length and be used as duel blades, vaulting poles, climbing hooks, or shields when spun; the Sai batons can also be retracted and the handles used as binoculars, trackers, x-ray scanners and phones. The Miraculous's special power, the Hunt, causes the wearer and anyone they bestow their power upon to temporarily enter a feral, werewolf-like state, further increasing their strength and bestial instinct and allowing the wearer to command their followers as the proverbial alpha of the pack.
Weaknesses
It's worth reiterating that the abilities listed in paragraph two of the previous section are not at Chann's disposal; only the user of his Miraculous. Furthermore, once the Hunt has been activated, Chann can only stay in his Miraculous for a few more minutes before he runs out of energy, at which point he must eat to regain it.
Skills
Chann is an impressive fighter, oddly enough, and is more than capable of defending himself against people many times his size. He's also a proficient tracker, hunter and spy, not to mention a parkour nut. On top of that, he's a remarkably talented singer, prone to spontaneously bursting into song in the heat of the moment.
Personality
Chann is very much a "tough love" sort of guy, overly assertive and unapologetically blunt. He tends to come across as bossy, bitter, sarcastic and rude, almost bullying at times, but he only does so because he firmly believes he knows what's best. Once you get past his rough exterior, you'll find that he just wants to do what's right and he puts on his brave face to protect what he cares about. If he's given ample reason to care about you, then he is fiercely loyal to the end, even though he'll still very much act like the alpha male. Get on his bad side, and he will NOT let you live it down.
History
Chann and his Miraculous have been around for thousands of years, passing from hand to hand and allowing people throughout the ages to transform into wolf-themed superheroes. For centuries, he was perfectly content with his lot in life, happily working alongside the heroes that held his Miraculous as a loyal subordinate, but over time, he found himself in the possession of a long line of less than noble Miraculous holders, each one using him for malicious or selfish purposes. Though he had no choice but to obey his masters' commands, Chann felt deep regret for the terrible things his powers wrought.
His string of bad luck with Miraculous holders lasted for a couple of decades, but the tipping point came when his Miraculous ended up in Great Britain, leading to an event that some refer to as "the London Incident." Few people know the details of said incident aside from the fact that a multitude of Londoners were reported displaying feral behavior, causing mass destruction and several deaths. Those with extensive knowledge of the Miraculouses have correctly deduced that Chann and the Wolf Miraculous were at the epicenter of this event, and it is believed that the chaos ended when Chann somehow managed to overcome his submissive instinct and escape with his Miraculous.
For years afterward, the Wolf Miraculous had been missing, lost and abandoned, Chann dormant inside it. Then it was discovered by a mysterious figure who, rather than equipping himself with it, transported the Miraculous to another realm, ensuring that the world Chann left behind would never again endure the chaos his powers had caused and that he would end up somewhere he was truly needed.

Chann's favorite food is meat, especially jerky. His Miraculous is a metallic wristband, silver when it's not in use and dark grey with a paw print on top when Chann is occupying it; the toes of the paw print disappear one by one when the Hunt is activated, signaling when the transformation will wear off. Though he cannot communicate with his wearer while they're transformed, he is fully aware of their actions.
