Disquietude looked over at Sky, nodding in return. He wasn't sure how comfortable he would actually be discussing these things with Adrien, but as long as he'd have time afterwards, he figured he might as well let it go and enjoy the movie. So after spending the night in the wilderness and getting to know one another a little more, Sarah and Reese, who had since revealed that his first name was Kyle, retreated to a place called a "motel," which seemed to be some sort of temporary living space. It wasn't long before Sarah got in touch with her "mom" to tell her what was going on... only for the movie to reveal that it was the Terminator pretending to be her mom. Only a matter of time before it found them again, huh? But before that, Sarah and Kyle made some explosives, Kyle talked a little more about his affections for Sarah, then they... wait, what were they doing?? They were pressing their lips together, taking off their outer garments, touching each other, lying on top of each other on the soft-looking white surface, gripping the covers and each other's hands... What was going on?! Were they in pain? Were they doing this for some kind of weird pleasure? What kind of bizarre human ritual WAS this?!" " Whatever it was, Disquietude couldn't look away from it.

The one thing he can tell, even in the darkness of the theater, is that both the people accompanying him have red cheeks. Sky just mutters, "Ask him later..."

"Mkay..." Disquietude mumbled as he slowly tilted his head, mesmerized by the strange display of human intimacy before him.
So... once that scene ended, the Terminator caught up with Sarah and Kyle, but they quickly managed to escape in another vehicle while the Terminator followed them on a two-wheeled machine. Soon enough, Sarah was driving, the Terminator was firing at them, and Kyle was throwing explosives at him, until eventually Kyle was wounded, the Terminator was pushed off his device, and Sarah flipped their vehicle upside-down. And then the Terminator was run over by an even larger vehicle. And then he forced his way inside that vehicle and tried to run Sarah and Kyle down with it. And THEN Kyle stuck an explosive inside the vehicle and the whole darn thing blew up.
Disquietude was really and truly on the edge of his seat through it all, watching with wide eyes as the villain was set ablaze and Sarah and Kyle were hugging in front of the burning wreckage. The intensity seemed to ebb, but he still felt uneasy. The Terminator couldn't have been defeated that easily, right?
Apparently not, as sure enough, the mechanical menace arose from the flames, its human exterior completely melted away, and continued chasing Sarah and Kyle into a building. Sure, it was unsettling to see this thing still hunting them down, but... the Terminator's movements seemed somewhat jerkier without its skin.
That small detail only occurred to Disquietude for a short while before he started pondering something else entirely. The persistence of this thing was to be admired, to the point where he actually found it kind of cool. A dark, powerful force to be reckoned with, seemingly impossible to destroy, relentlessly pursuing these two weak, vulnerable humans, all for the sake of protecting its kind.
It just... struck a chord with him.

For some reason, a shiver goes down Sky's spine, and she glances at Dis, a little nervous. Should she say anything? No, it'd be rude, and the two of them seem to be having fun, so it'd be bad if she ruined it due to being cold. Even so, she does place her hands on her lap, squeezing them tight to comfort herself.

Oblivious to the fact that he had a small smile on his face throughout, Disquietude reverently observed as Sarah and a significantly weakened Kyle boarded themselves up in a factory of some sorts and activated all the machinery inside, only for the Terminator to bust its way inside. After a moment of running around, hunting and being hunted, Kyle opted to stay behind and fight the Terminator while Sarah continued on. His efforts seemed ineffective... until he stuck one of those explosives into the Terminator, and when it exploded, the Terminator to fall apart, Kyle to tumble away, and Sarah to hurt her leg.
When Sarah crawled over to Kyle, she found him... ohhhhh... covered in that red bodily fluid and not moving. Disquietude's educated guess? He was dead. Poor Sarah...
"!!!" And then SURPRISE OF ALL SURPRISES, the Terminator was still alive, its severed upper half still relentlessly chasing Sarah down the corridor. Sarah continued to scramble away, eventually leading the cyborg into... some sort of narrow crawl space with a really low ceiling; Disquietude wasn't sure what it was. When she came out the other side, Sarah trapped the Terminator inside, told it that it was terminated, then pressed a button, causing the ceiling of the space it was stuck inside to push down on top of it and effectively crush the machine.
Lightning sparked from its body. Its glowing red eyes went dark. The movie went silent. Seemed that the Terminator was dead too.
The smile that Disquietude didn't even realize he had disappeared.
Finally, the movie faded to some time later. Sarah was driving through some dry, hot-looking part of the world, talking into some little device as if addressing someone who wasn't there, lamenting what she should or shouldn't tell her future son and the short time she had spent with Kyle. Looked like she put on a bit of weight too. Then she drove of towards a storm, the music swelling as the screen went black and the credits started rolling.
The house lights dimly faded back to life, at which point several moviegoers started filing out for a quick break before the next film. Disquietude just sat there, mulling over what he had just seen, still casting a blank expression at the screen.
"That..."

"Wait, so Kyle got her pregnant?" Sky frowns, tapping her forehead as she quietly thinks out loud to herself. "But they wouldn't have met if the Terminator hadn't gone back in time, so... Skynet made its own worst enemy?"

"That..."
Disquietude barely heard Sky's question, still trying to piece together his own emotions.
"...was..."
He blinked, continuing to stare ahead blankly. He felt like he had been through a warzone himself. The action, the drama, the conflict of humans vs. the future, the uncertainty...
"...AWESOME!!!"
Finally, Disquietude reached over, grabbed Adrien by the arm and shot him a wide-eyed, giddy smile. "OH MAN, THAT TERMINATOR THING WAS SO CRAZY! IT HAD SO MANY COOL POWERS AND WEAPONS AND IT JUST WOULD NOT FREAKING STOP! SO INTENSE, DUDE! THOSE HUMANS JUST BARELY GOT THROUGH IT, BUT IT WAS JUST SO COOL TO SEE THEM DO IT! LIKE, HOLY CRAP, HOW DID THEY EVEN DO THAT?! HOW DO YOU STAND UP TO SOMETHING THAT FREAKING AWESOME?! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH...!!!"
Suddenly realizing how loud he was being, Disquietude quickly sat back down, let go of Adrien and awkwardly shriveled away slightly. "Ahem... Um... I-I liked it."

The audience chuckles at his adorable awkwardness before returning to their own discussions.
Adrien smiles at his friend, patting him on the shoulder. "Glad you liked it."

"Heheh... Yeah." Disquietude beamed timidly but happily, munching on a few pieces of popcorn as his eyes flicked between Adrien and the floor. Though his enthusiasm was genuine, he was honestly surprised by his own outburst. It was just that nothing had ever made him that excited in his life. All three or four weeks of it.
"So... this next movie is like... a continuation of this one? Hmm... I wonder how they'll advance the story..."

"I hear that there's going to be just as much action, and good special effects." The man smiles and nods towards the screen. "So I think it'll be just as enjoyable."

"Niiiiice!" Disquietude rubbed his fists together and smiled giddily. After bouncing in his seat for a moment, he turned and shot Sky a grin out of the corner of his eye. "This is fun, huh?"
He then took a deep breath and leaned back in his seat. Only then was it starting to occur to him just how much energy he had drained maintaining his human form. "Although, I... gotta say, all that excitement wore me out a bit..."

"Yeah, it-" She cuts herself off, looking at him in concern. "It did?" Sky thinks for a bit, glancing over towards the doorway. "Should I go get more food, or maybe some refills?"
"Well, we do have a while until the next one starts." Adrien chuckles, holding up his drink for no particular reason. "Thank you, intermissions!"

"Y-Yeah, that's definitely helpful!" Disquietude mused, rubbing his neck. "Well... if you guys wanna get more food, I, uh... I think I'll just... be down here. For the time being."
Without a second thought, paying no heed to how it might look to an outsider, Disquietude promptly got down on the floor and crawled underneath his seat. "See you in a bit!"

"See you later." Adrien stands up and he joins the faunus in gathering some more food. He reaches into his pocket and stops in the middle of the hallway, his brow furrowing slightly before he pulls out a credit card. "...huh. Forgot I had this." He looks to the girl who finally noticed he stopped as she rejoined him. "Think this might work, here?"
She can only shrug helplessly. "I haven't the slightest clue."

Shortly after his companion's departure, Disquietude, now one with the darkness, slithered through the network of shadows throughout the theater. Quickly, stealthily, he tailed Adrien incognito, with the only sign that he was there being a small, occasional wave in the shadows along the walls. He stopped at the snack bar, comfortably nestled in the shadows behind a cardboard cutout, white eyes dimly staring out at Adrien from the floor.
It felt good to be back to normal, if only for the time being. He had quickly returned to peak condition, the darkness replenishing his strength almost immediately after he had rejoined it. It was comforting. Tempting. Part of him just wanted to settle right into it and stay there. And yet...
A sigh.
Even with the spontaneous age increase, Adrien was just... so... Disquietude couldn't even put it to words. It just felt amazing being around him, more so than anything he had experienced in recent memory. He could only hope he was making a good impression. The kindness Adrien was showing him felt so foreign that it was hard to pinpoint how exactly he felt about the young demon.
Another sigh. However Adrien felt, it certainly couldn't have been the same way Disquietude felt, considering what he and Plagg said earlier about...
"!!!" Immediately, Disquietude's train of thought was cut short when he sensed something surge through the darkness.
