Height: ? (VERY tall)
Weight: ? (A bit on the heavy side due to muscle, but lighter than you’d expect)
Gender: Male
Race: Human (with dragon ancestry)

Physical Description
Xander is tall and broad-shouldered, with pale skin, wavy chin-length blonde hair, and brown eyes, which may appear to be anywhere from red to violet under certain lighting conditions. He wears a suit of black armour with gold accents, a gold lion insignia shield, and a short violet cape. Underneath the armour, Xander wears a white cravat and a violet, vaguely suit-like outfit.
Weapons and Accessories
Upon arrival, Xander carries only Siegfried, one of the legendary weapons of Nohr. However, due to being removed from its original world, the weapon is now somewhere between an Iron and Steel Sword in power, and no longer has the magic that bestows its carrier with +4 Defence. While Siegfried can still attack from a short distance with a dark beam, Xander can no longer make follow-ups with the beam due to the extra concentration required.
Abilities/Powers
As a royal of Nohr and a descendant of the Dusk Dragon, Xander can tap into areas of power known as Dragon Veins, allowing him to manipulate the environment in various ways, although this ability is weaker than it is in his home world. While he does have some untapped magic potential, most of his “powers” are more akin to skills.
Weaknesses
While on his horse, Camus, Xander is vulnerable to anti-beast weaponry such as Hunter’s Bows, as well as enemies with the Beastbane skill. He’s also not exactly the fastest person around, and relies on taking hits to survive.
Skills
In combat, Xander has several skills that can manifest. The first is his personal skill, Chivalry, which has the following effect: “Grants +2 to damage dealt and -2 to damage taken against foes with full HP.” Xander’s adherence to the code of chivalry has him only go full-force against a perfectly healthy enemy, otherwise holding back slightly.
His next skill, Elbow Room, works as follows: “This unit deals +3 damage when fighting in a space with no terrain effects.” When unimpeded by terrain such as bushes, or not on unsteady terrain such as desert sands or marshland, Xander’s attacks deal more damage.
His next skill, Shelter, is a simple ability, allowing Xander to pull an ally into cover behind him, which synergizes quite well with his next skill.
The next skill, Defender, is another reference to the code of chivalry, and has the following effect: “Grants +1 to all stats when paired up as the lead unit.” When paired up with another unit and in the lead, Xander is determined to protect him, increasing the bonuses he receives.
Finally, while he has no recollection of learning this skill, Xander also has Rally Defense, which has the following effect: “Use Rally to grant Def+4 to units within two spaces for one turn.” Xander’s presence inspires close allies with a display of fortitude, increasing their own ability to take physical attacks.
Xander can also cook well, and is quite skilled with traditional Nohrian styles.
Personality
Xander is loyal to the kingdom of Nohr above all else, and will cut down anything deemed a threat to Nohr without a moment’s hesitation, even if he personally disagrees with such orders. He is completely resistant to change in this aspect, and has no tolerance towards traitors from Nohr, even if they are his family. He presents himself as stern and unapproachable.
However, Xander does have a more hidden tender side. He is protective towards his younger siblings, even if his sense of duty may overrule such affections. A humble person by nature, he prefers to keep such displays under wraps, believing it to be unfitting for someone of his status. Additionally, despite his battle-worn exterior, Xander actually detests the act of killing, to the point of harbouring suicidal thoughts.
History
Xander is the firstborn child of King Garon of Nohr, and the only one born to a queen, Katerina. He had no special talents and an introverted personality, which when combined with Garon’s numerous jealous concubines and his status as crown prince, made him the prime target for assassinations. He trained meticulously, which lead to him wielding the divine blade, Siegfried as an adult. When Garon brought home a child with white hair and pointed ears and claimed it was his new sibling, Xander took charge of the child’s training. At some point, he arrested a known Nohrian criminal, Hans, who Garon later employed into the army.
At some point, Xander had two unnamed retainers, but during a battle with Hoshido, they were overwhelmed and sent him away, ending with their deaths. He did not hire new retainers for several years afterward, only hiring a cavalier named Peri after her performance at a combat tournament. Later, his father would employ a mercenary named Laslow. Initially suspicious of the mercenary, Xander dueled Laslow and barely won, becoming impressed with his skill.
When the white-haired child came of age, Xander, on command of Garon, duelled them, with the condition of landing at least one blow upon him for their freedom. After being defeated in their mock duel, Xander, alongside his other siblings, escorted the white-haired sibling to Castle Krakenberg, and would later reappear to reinforce them after what was supposed to be a simple scouting mission went sour. He would later run into his sibling again, at a Branch of Fate…
When his foster brother, Corrin, chose to fight with Hoshido, Xander attempted to change his mind, only to turn hostile when Corrin called Garon pure evil. He ordered an attack, but after his defeat at the hands of Hoshido’s high prince, Ryoma, the Nohrian forces were forced to retreat.
Xander later attacked Corrin at the opera house in Cyrkensia, after Azura’s song triggered a reaction in Garon, branding him a traitor, and alongside Laslow and Peri, charged after him with the intent to kill, narrowly missing Corrin. Merely minutes later, Xander found Corrin outside the opera house, but Elise put herself between him and Corrin, allowing Corrin to escape.
He buried himself in his duties, although he did hear out Elise’s concerns as Corrin’s forces drew nearer to Castle Krakenberg. When Corrin’s forces reached the heart of the castle, Xander urged Laslow and Peri to save themselves and flee… Before going out to challenge Corrin to a one-on-one duel.
Despite the objections of Elise, Xander and Corrin dueled regardless. The fight was horribly one-sided, Xander not giving Corrin much of a chance to fight back. However, before he could deliver the fatal blow… Elise ran in, and took the attack for Corrin. Horrified, he cradled Elise in his arms, and she pleaded with him to stop fighting… before she perished in his arms…
But despite this, Xander demanded that Corrin continue their duel, outraging his former sibling, although his heart was no longer in it. Eventually, Corrin struck a fatal blow on Xander… In his last words, his confirmed that he was no longer fighting at full strength, and lamented that in another world, they could have fought alongside each other… And then, he perished…
Meanwhile…
In a world running parallel to the one above, Xander’s foster sister, Corrinne, chose to fight with Nohr, defending her against an attack by Ryoma. He fought Ryoma one-on-one, as his siblings and Corrinne’s butler, Jakob, battled against and defeated Corrinne’s Hoshidan siblings and their tactician, Yukimura. The Nohrian army was victorious, and Xander returned to Castle Krakenberg with his siblings.
Xander refused Garon’s order to kill Corrinne, and when she was sent out to quell the Ice Tribe rebellion on her own, he overheard Garon, confirming that it was a suicide mission in disguise. In response, he secretly dispatched Elise, Effie, Arthur, and Silas to aid her. Later, when she was sent to Palace Macarath to supposedly relax, he sent his own retainers, Laslow and Peri, to protect her.
As Corrinne’s section of the Nohrian army prepared to invade Hoshido, Xander attacked Corrinne to test her reflexes, before announcing that he would be joining her. As they sailed into Hoshido, they were informed that a hostile presence was on board, and deduced that it was a Hoshidan ninja… Only to have it be an outlaw named Shura, who had helped kidnap Azura years ago. After Corrinne weighed their options, she had Shura killed, and Xander, pleased with the results, sent a message to Garon.
When stopping to rest in the neutral Izumo, Xander had an exchange of hostilities with Ryoma, but the would-be duel was averted by Izana. Later, Ryoma sought an audience with Corrinne while she spoke to Xander… Only for Ryoma to be captured, as the “Izana” was actually a Nohrian mage, Zola. Disgusted with Zola’s tactics, Xander assisted Corrinne in defeating Zola’s forces, freeing the Hoshidan royals.
After the battle at Fort Jinya, Hans began to slaughter the Hoshidan prisoners. Xander, close to killing Hans and Iago himself, was forced to stay his hand when Garon arrived. When Ryoma challenged Corrinne to a duel, Xander demanded an end, and to that, fought against Ryoma’s forces outside the duel zone. After, when Iago and Hans ambushed Corrinne with the intent to kill her, he protected his foster sister with his blood siblings, killing Hans himself in the resulting battle. Believing the war to be over, Xander was incredulous when Corrinne and Azura said that they had to overthrow Garon himself.
Corrinne and Azura were proven correct, as a slimy monstrosity was revealed as his true form, and that the real Garon had been dead for years. Initially stunned, he defended Corrinne, and his Siegfried synced with her Grim Yato, transforming it into the Shadow Yato. This false Garon was quickly killed, but he barely had any time to process this, as the possessed corpse of Takumi began attacking them, knocking Corrinne unconscious.
As Xander and the rest of the Nohrian army fought against Takumi’s corpse and his entourage of invisible soldiers, Corrinne regained consciousness, and together, they struck Takumi down. Xander was crowned the new king of Nohr, and worked closely with the new queen of Hoshido, Hinoka, to maintain the uneasy peace.
At least, that’s how it went the one time…
At the Branch of Fate, Corrin sided with Hoshido and took the Yato with him, while Corrinne stayed in Nohr. Xander fought alongside Corrinne in Cyrkensia, and at her request, after the Nohrian border had been breached, brought her two of the guards that had fought there, Charlotte and Benny, and accepted it when she named them as her new retainers alongside Felicia, who had returned to Nohr.
Overall, thing felt… familiar to Xander, even as he fell to Corrin’s hand… But in his dying breath, he also warned Corrin of Corrinne’s strange behaviour…
Fortunately, this wasn’t it…
Once again, at the Branch of Fate, Corrin went to Hoshido, and Corrinned stayed in Nohr, this time taking the Yato with her. Things went much like they had the last time, but when the army fought Corrinne’s Hoshidan siblings, Corrin was there…
It came to a head after Ryoma committed seppuku. Corrin flew into a rage and took Raijinto and fought Corrinne with the remainder of the Hoshidan forces. Xander fought against these remnants as Corrinne dueled her twin brother, and witnessed Corrin’s death by self-electrocution. Once again, Hans and Iago were killed, followed by the fake Garon and Takumi’s corpse, and once again, Xander was crowned the king of Nohr, although he battled a strange feeling of sadness…
Once more…
This time, at the Branch of Fate, both Corrin and Corrinne held a Yato blade… but this time, both of them refused to choose a side. Despite the protests of the twins, Xander fought against Ryoma, trying to force them to return to Nohr. However, after his frontline commander was defeated by Corrinne and Jakob, he was forced to pull back, and dubbed Corrin and Corrinne as traitors to Nohr to be killed on sight.
He would later encounter his foster siblings in Cyrkensia, where he accused Hoshidan forces of destroying the neutral town. He fought against his half-sister Camilla, who tried to sway him to no avail, and then Corrinne and a wolfskin named Keaton, the pair defeating him. However, Xander was prepared to fight to the death against Ryoma, forcing Azura to sing a magic song to quell his battle urge. Corrinne followed after him, Laslow, and Peri, telling him to go to the Bottomless Canyon when the skies above Hoshido and Nohr changed. Xander brushed off her words as a trap set by a traitor.
Upon return, Xander’s half-brother, Leo, pointed out Garon’s strange behaviour… That Garon had ordered the destruction of both Hoshido and Nohr. Leo expressed that Corrinne’s claims of a true enemy may have been real after all, but Xander cut him off, and told Leo to ready their best troops to meet Corrin and Corrinne at the Bottomless Canyon…
After the twins defeated a Nohrian army lead by Hans, they were immediately beset by another force lead by Iago. Xander entered the battle alongside Leo and their retainers, reinforcing the twins’s forces. After Iago’s death at the hands of Corrinne, he spoke with Ryoma, striking a truce between Nohr and Hoshido. And then… It came time to jump into the Bottomless Canyon and into Valla. Xander was amongst the first to jump in, jumping alongside Ryoma and their retainers… But he would land in a scorched land, full of shifting sand...
