Full Name: William Lowe
Nickname(s): Big Bro, Will, "the guy who looks tougher than he actually is."
Age: 19
Height: 190 cm/~6'3''
Weight: 75 kg/~165 pounds
Gender: Male
Race: Human, also a quarter demon through his mother
Alliance: Heroic

Franchise: Starless Skies
Physical Description
William has a tall, lanky build, with very slightly tanned skin, a mess of dirty blonde hair with prominent cowlicks, and bright blue eyes with a rust-coloured ring around the pupil. He additionally wears a pair of ovular eyeglasses, which he is practically blind without, and each ear has four piercings. His outfits generally consist of blues and browns, and upon arrival, William has on a medium blue shirt with an eye design, a longer-sleeved light blue shirt underneath, a dark blue vest with exaggerated brown lapels, brown fingerless gloves, baggy dark blue pants, and knee-high teal boots with three bronze straps.
Weapons and Accessories
As a result of his mixed ancestry, William can summon what appears to be a dark blue sword hilt with a piece of blue apatite on top. By activating the gemstone, he can summon a blade of hard light for melee attacks, or fire off bursts of energy for ranged attacks. It should be noted that while the blade can be removed from his grasp without vanishing, the weapon will only activate for demons or those with demonic traits/blood.
Abilities/Powers
As mentioned, William can summon the strange sword for combat. He can also tap into his inner demon for bursts of power and magic. However...
Weaknesses
Being part-demon, William takes extra damage from weaponry designated as "anti-demon," although not quite to the extent of a full demon. While he can utilize the power of his inner demon, he runs the risk of losing control to the beast whenever he needs to borrow large amounts of power or use potent magic. Although this magical ability is stronger as he nears death, this essentially ensures he will lose control to the beast if he is an inch from death and taps into its powers. Finally, in a non-life-threatening situation, while he does not run the risk of submitting to the beast, William's control is mediocre at best.
While not a traditional weakness, William is terribly farsighted and reliant on his glasses. As a result, if they get knocked off, he's not gonna have a good time.
Skills
As the "fighter" of the three Lowe siblings, William was trained in swordplay and marksmanship to utilize his summoned weapon to its full potential. Additionally, in the event of being disarmed, he knows hand-to-hand combat, utilizing his long limbs and height. While not a great tracker, he also studied psychology on the side, making him better at reading people and finding out what gets under their skin, in addition to being the unofficial psychologist of the team. Finally, perhaps as a result of his own high metabolism, he's become quite the chef.
Personality
Despite his appearance, William is actually a more pacifistic type that would rather talk out a situation than actually fight. He detests the idea of bloodshed, and while he has no qualms about using violence should it come down to it, he would rather disarm his opponent than take their life. He has a generally friendly and easygoing nature and tries to keep a smile on his face even when it hurts, which makes him come off as approachable. Finally, he can be a bit dense, and is almost hopeless with sarcasm and irony in general.
His "inner demon" is a vengeful and rather cruel character, with more of its nature coming out the closer William is from death when its powers are tapped into. This beast has no issues with lethal force, and while maintaining William's normal friendly disposition, is actually a sadistic individual who is willing to perform all manner of acts with a calm smile on his face.
History
William is the older brother of Jordan and Leanne Lowe, the firstborn child of Herr Lowe and his half-demon wife, Lilith. The family lived a relatively quiet life in Linber... At least, for a few years. At the age of nine, he and Jordan witnessed a tall, dark-haired figure kill Lilith. Both brothers were traumatized from the event, and they vowed to make sure their younger sister never had to see such things. Herr Lowe moved the family to Saia, and in the interest of ensuring his children could defend themselves, sent them to the Ode guild for training.
William befriended Mort Isaac's adopted son, Percy, although he always got a strange feeling from Mort himself. Several times, he was sent out on missions with Percy, and in one distance, when the younger boy was incapacitated against an eyepatched individual named Seeker, William was forced to tap into his inner demon, nearly killing the older person in the process. He also took note of a strange female hunter named Sylvia... And perhaps some other things about her as well...
One day, Mort ordered William, Percy, and several others to go through a portal in his office...
Other
May or may not be a reference to dissociative identity disorder. High metabolism.
