"If it can do melee attacks as well as ranged hits..." Corrinne put away Yato and shifted, roaring. "This seems like the best idea... Silas, are you sure of this?" She scratched her head slightly at him. Still, she decided to hang back and allow Azura's song and aura to heal her first.
"I think we need to weaken it a bit..." Felicia said, watching out for another Tomahawk throw. "Jakob, you're probably the only one of the three of us who can survive a hit..."
"Poison will also work to our advantage. I'll lace your weapon," Kaze said.

Jakob nodded, taking a slow breath to steady himself. "Indeed. I think you're right..."
Silas turned. "After you attack, I'll pull you into cover so he can't follow up beyond his counter."
Corrin roared out challengingly. "Go!"
"Right!" With that, as soon as his weapon was readied, Jakob dashed in, jumping up and flinging the shuriken, striking the Great Knight. While the axe's blow left him reeling and bloody, Silas quickly pulled him back into cover.
"There we go. I'll get you to Azura. Corrin, it's your go now!"
Nodding, Corrin lashed out with his tail in a follow-up attack.

"Thanks, Azura. Take over healing Jakob after that," Corrinne nodded and went to rejoin the fray.
"I just wish there was more we could do..." Felicia said, trying to stay just close enough to Corrin to allow him to receive the benefits of Demoiselle.
Kaze noticed something on the Great Knight's armour... A very familiar-looking crest. "... I think that's a Master Seal. Was this just promoted?"
And then an intrusive thought entered the ninja's mind. "... I wonder." The ninja seemingly vanished into thin air.
"Hey! Where'd you go and what are you doing?!"
Corrinne had made it back, and charged at the Great Knight, hitting it with her horns, although this incurred a counterattack. "Nrgh!" Taking a few steps back to avoid a follow-up, Corrinne took notice of... "... What's that thing on its back?"

Silas dropped Jakob off, heading back into the fight with his blade ready.
The Butler groaned softly as he was set down, Azura's aura slowly healing his wounds. "...Thank you, Azura."
"Think nothing of it, Jakob. We'll leave this to them... ...Where did Kaze go?"
Corrin stood beside Corrinne. "I'm not sure... I can't get a good look at it..."
Seeing an opportunity, the Great Knight slipped past the two dragons, raising its axe towards Azura...
Silas couldn't get there in time from where he was. "Azura, look out!"

"Azura! No, get out of the way!!"
"Lady Azura, NO!!"
The armoured rider had closed in on the songstress and the wounded butler, neither of whom had any business attempting to fight back against it. The Tomahawk glinted coldly in Azura's aura, its cruel steel about to slam down on the fragile woman...
Or at least, it WOULD have. There was the sound of something being removed on its person, as the figure on its back jumped off, clearly holding something. The Tomahawk fell down uselessly before Azura, landing softly in the dirt floor. Where a Great Knight and its equally great horse stood a mere second ago was a humble Cavalier and its equally humble horse, both rider and mount seeming confused.
If Corrinne had conventional facial features, she would have double-taked. "... Well, THAT happened. Shall we double-team it, brother?" Knowing the answer, she charged forward and jumped, flipping in mid-air and delivering a blow with her horns.
Kaze landed on the ground, what seemed to be a Master Seal in hand. Seeing what he had evidently stolen off their enemy, even the ninja appeared shocked. "... It worked. That's all I can say on this."

Jakob's jaw dropped, a very unusual expression for the Butler. "...I will not complain. Not in the slightest. You just saved our lives, Kaze."
Corrin didn't need to be told twice. As Corrinne slammed down, Corrin charged, a full-body tackle knocking the now-Cavalier off his horse, dissipating him. As he shifted back to normal, a rush of energy seemed to fill everyone there... a rush of power.
"Whoa! That was..."
Azura exhaled slowly, steadying herself again. "...We won. Thank you, Kaze."

As Corrinne reverted back, she patted the ninja on the shoulder. "Good thinking, Kaze."
Kaze still seemed dumbfounded at what he had just done. "I just... I'll explain later. I'm just glad you two are safe."
As the group left for the next floor, their rush of energy seemed to remain.
[Pit of 100 Trials: Floor 20]
"Looks like another break," Corrinne said, noting the chest. "Kaze?"
"Of course." Click. Inside the chest was... A second Master Seal, and another badge, this one shaped like a hammer, coloured red with a flame pattern. "Somehow, I think my brother would appreciate this one."
"Probably."
"Ah, Lord Corrin, Lady Corrinne, if you would accept these..." The ninja made a bow, and handed the two Master Seals to the Manakete twins.

Jakob adjusted his lapel slightly as he stood, healed from his injuries fully thanks to Azura. "I owe you. Thank you all the same."
Silas leaned against one of the walls in the room, closing his eyes a moment to catch his breath, though he chuckled as Kaze talked about the new badge. "I think you're right. I wonder what that one does."
Corrin took one of the Master Seals, looking at Corrinne. "...I get the feeling we're in for a long fight. We're going to need this..." He closed his eyes, speaking.
"...Divine Light, grant me the strength to see this through... to save our world!"
Corrin tossed his head back as the light engulfed his form...
As it cleared, he slowly opened them, spinning once in place. "...I missed how this outfit felt."
Azura simply chuckled. "The look suits you. How do you both feel?"

Corrinne smiled and closed her eyes, taking one of the Master Seals. "We're going to need all the power we can get."
She then closed her eyes. "... O Sacred Darkness, lend me the strength to protect this precious world...!"
The light engulfed her, as she threw up a fist and shouted.
When the light died down, she stood in a new outfit and stance... "I missed this feeling of power..."
"You two look great!" Felicia said, smiling.
"I feel like I can take on anything," Corrinne said, spinning Yato around.

"I feel hopeful." Corrin smiled brightly, folding his arms. "With this... I think we can get through this. We need to, to save whoever's in the West... are we ready to continue?"
Silas nodded, saluting with a fist on his chest. "I am. Lead the way."
"As am I," Jakob said with a smirk. "We will follow you."
Azura laughed softly. "You've lead us this far, have you not? I believe in you both."

"We're all in good spirits, it seems," Corrinne said with a grin. "Let's get there before our pep wears off!"
"No arguments there, Lady Corrinne!" Felicia was following behind the pair. "C'mon, we can do it all together!"
"I suppose we can," Kaze said, acting as a rear guard. "I believe in you."
[Stage Clear!]
"You know, a thought occurs to me, brother... One, we left our other weapons back in that cemetery, didn't we... And it seems my pants have vanished."

"...We did. Damnation. That would have been very helpful about now... so be it. Perhaps Kaze can use that new skill of his to, ah... 'procure' us some new ones. ...And I noticed. We'll have to get a new set when we get out of here, I think."
At least, he thought, he was certain they would make it out of there. There was no doubt in his mind.
