Blendigo moved back, little snowflakes falling off of his horns. "Miss Mal, thank you very much for talking with me. ...Not many would."
"WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" Papyrus looked absolutely livid hearing this. "YOU'RE ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I KNOW, BLENDIGO! ASIDE FROM MYSELF, OF COURSE." The larger skeleton gave a hearty laugh at this.
"No-one out greats the great Papyrus," he smiled. "...but... I think a lot of people are scared of my appearance... I'm not friendly looking like the most of you are."

"You look wonderfully wicked but you seem like a cool dude. Just kinda got here myself," Mal offered.
"Being just bone does that to a person," Beth offered calmly as she watched the three.

"Being lonely isn't very fun, is it..." the big guy sighed. Papyrus patted his head.
"NOW BLENDIGO. NO PITYING A PARTY WHEN YOU'RE AROUND FRIENDS. WE ONLY LOVE YOU!" There was a pleading look in his eye as he looked at Beth. "RIGHT MISS BETH?"

Beth nodded. "He's not wrong," she offered with a smile. "I wouldn't mind helping out on that front."
Mal quietly stood back.

"...What about you? Will you be my friend too?"

"Could use a familiar face around here," Mal offered.
"That's here way of saying yes," Beth offered only to earning a glare. "Dear. I have more power in my left pinkie than you do in your body. The flashy eye trick might have worked on the Isle but not on me."

The two skeletons looked at eachother. "Flashy eye trick?" Blendigo asked. "What flashy eye trick?"

"You notice that Mal's eyes suddenly got this vivid shade of green?"
Mal glared at Beth. Her eyes flashing the mentioned color.

Blendigo blinked. "Skeletons do that anyway... So I didn't notice."
"DON'T BE UPSET, BLENDIGO. THINGS AREN'T SO WEIRD ONCE YOU GET USED TO THEM. THAT'S HOW WEIRD WORKS!" Papyrus offered.
"Well, what do HER eyes do?"

Beth gave a smile. "That my skeletal friends, would be spoilers," she offered.
Mal blinked and raised an eyebrow. "Is she always like this?"

Pap's brows furrowed, followed by an affirmative nod.
"Um... Should we be here at the museum? Why not find another place to do friend things?" Blendigo asked.

"There's a mall, a movie theater, a few parks- among other hidden gems for friend hang out places," Beth offered. "I've come here to chill a few times myself with some old friends."
"Anywhere that isn't a snooze fest sounds good to me," Mal noted.

"THE ONLY SNOOZEFEST AROUND HERE IS MY BROTHER," Papyrus sneered. "HE IS JUST FAR TOO LAZY FOR HIS OWN GOOD! hE'S SO LAZY IN FACT, i HAVEN'T SEEN HIM LEAVE HIS ROOM IN MONTHS!"
Blendigo was chuckling at this. It seemed the lazy thing had been something Papyrus has gotten onto Sans for since they met.

"Have you actually looked into his room?" Beth asked. "Some times the island randomly sends people, monsters, or beings back home. But at the down side of them not being put back exactly in the right spot in their timeline."
"MAgic that strong has to have a price," Mal noted.
"Well this island is as much a living being as any of us standing here so it can get up to tricks and pranks just as well as any of us. Heck it might flip people's powers just because it can," Beth commented as she started to walk.

"Flipping powers?"
Papyrus had a tense face as the bigger skeleton peered down at him. "...I'LL TELL YOU ABOUT THAT LATER," he sighed.
