REPORT ON ANOMALIES- CLEARANCE LEVEL ONE
Anomaly Sigma-18: “Gelatin Gone Bad” or “Hedorabs” or [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE]
Danger level: 5
Known locations: Nexus, Purgatorio, [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE]
Containment difficulty: 5 (Capture sample, kill rest on sight)
Past occurrences?: [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE]
Anomaly description: Semitransparent, gelatinous substance with some level of intelligence. Initially colourless and shapeless, they will take on a colour and shape after [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE].
After [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE], anomaly will take on shape akin to living creature and will change colour. Destruction is to be attempted before [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE], as base anomaly possess no resistance to weaponry or magic. If [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE] cannot be prevented, consult below on how to deal with anomaly.
Rust Slime: Absorbs fire, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH FIRE MAGIC. Damage will cause it to split into separate, independently-thinking instances. Individual Red Slimes are hostile towards each other. Do not engage hand-to-hand, third-degree burns or worse will result. Cyrogenic weapons and cold temperatures are most effective, as they will freeze and become easy to shatter.
Blue Slime: Water-repellent skin allows for aquatic transport. Resistant to cold temperatures; Feather Downers and other electrical weapons are especially effective. Can voluntarily divide into smaller specimens for combat or for evasive purposes. High temperatures will cause anomaly to boil away.
Yellow Slime: Highly acidic, avoid direct contact. Tolerance for extreme temperatures. Cannot survive anaerobic environments. Engage with explosives from as great a distance as possible. Smothering anomalies with dirt appears to cause great deal of pain and damage; do so if feasible.
Green Slime: Tough hide and highly resistant to most forms of damage. Cannot tolerate extreme high or low temperatures. Unlike others of its kind, conventional weaponry such as blades and guns seem to cause notable damage.
Multicoloured Slime: A result of [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE]. Lacks resistances of other slimes, but can merge with others of its type and form more powerful collectives. Known to attack in packs. Can, in some instances, [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE] consciousness maintained. Most common variety found.
[INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE: HISTORY AVAILABLE ONLY TO THOSE WITH LEVEL 2 OR HIGHER CLEARANCE]
