Physical Description
Charlotte doesn’t wear much in the way of clothing, usually. She has decent-length boots going partway up her legs that goes into a covering across her waist, sturdy shoulder armor and armored gloves, and a breastplate (that shows a decent amount of cleavage) but very little besides that. Her midriff is pretty much completely exposed, as is part of her legs. This is deliberate.
She also has long blond hair and bright blue eyes, with a white bow of sorts in her hair.
Weapons and Accessories
Charlotte’s one weapon, the only one she really needs, in her own words, is a Killer Axe. It is a slightly-serrated weapon that has a high critical hit rate, and does extra damage on critical strikes. It is very potent in her hands.
Abilities/Powers
While some might not consider it a power, Charlotte has incredible physical strength, to the point of being able to fell a tree bare-handedly.
Weaknesses
Charlotte isn’t the best at dodging attacks, being a Fighter, which can be a problem as she isn’t super-durable. She also is vulnerable to sword-wielders and tome-users.
Skills
Charlotte has several combat-related skills.
Her first, Unmask, gives her +4 to attack and +20 crit against female opponents. She drops her sweet ‘mask’ against women since she cares not about impressing them. She doesn’t hold anything back.
HP +5 is a simple skill; Charlotte can take a bit more damage.
Gamble shows how Charlotte fights; her attacks have -10 Hit but +10 Crit. Her wild swings have a greater chance to strike critically, when they hit.
Finally, a skill she doesn’t remember learning, Demoiselle. Male allies within two arms’ lengths of Charlotte take -2 damage. She has an aura of sorts about her that acts as an encouragement, helping them fight harder and take less damage.
Outside of her combat skills, Charlotte is also very skilled at unarmed fighting; she’d say it’s probably her best skill, though she keeps that hidden, usually.
Finally, she can cook; her usual cooking results could be described as Alluring.
Personality
Charlotte would like to lead you to believe that she is a delicate flower that must be protected. This is very much not true. Charlotte is rough around the edges, has a temper, doesn’t take crap from anyone, and has a very brutal side that shows in combat.
Most of her flirtatious nature is a mask that she wears with the intent to find a man to marry, as she hopes to marry someone wealthy, so she can better support her parents.
History
Charlotte grew up very poor in the Nohrian capital of Windmire, though her family was very loving and cared greatly about her; to repay her parents, as she got older, she joined the Nohrian Royal Guard, intent to send part of her earnings back to her family.
Intending to attract a handsome nobleman, Charlotte had acted like she was a fragile lady… which backfired. Her superior believed her to be too fragile to serve in the Royal Guard and she was demoted to a border guard, partnered with Benny.
When the Hoshidan army came to the Nohrian border walls, intent to enter, Charlotte and Benny fought against them, though they were defeated by the army lead by Corrin. Forced to retreat, Charlotte returned to Windmire, laying low with her family until Garon was killed and Nohr began to recover.
However, running concurrently to the above…
When Corrinne’s army came to Cheve to quell the rebellion brewing, Charlotte heard the commotion going on and came out alongside Benny to see what was going on. While she was dismissive of Corrinne at first, upon realizing that she was talking to a royal, she quickly changed her tone, trying to butter up the manakete to try and improve her position, joining the army. She would fight alongside Corrinne until Garon and the possessed Takumi were defeated. She would then return the royal guard, making a good living for herself and her family.
That didn’t quite last, however.
The Hoshidan army came to the Border Walls, intent to invade, and like before, Charlotte and Benny were defeated by Corrin’s army. However, upon returning, Charlotte and Benny were made Corrinne’s retainers. As the Hoshidan army got closer and closer to Castle Krakenburg, Charlotte could see the change building in Corrinne, but said nothing, not wanting to lose her life. In the end, Corrin defeated Corrinne and, at the cost of her life, as well as Xander and Elise’s, peace finally came. Charlotte was never quite the same after that, however…
Things reverted yet again…
Charlotte joined Corrinne’s army and fought alongside the manakete all the way through the invasion of Hoshido, taking part in the fight against Garon. She remained a steadfast retainer to Corrinne following the war, at her request. While lives were lost, peace held.
One more time, time was rewound…
After Corrin and Corrinne stopped Xander and Ryoma’s fight in the destroyed town of Cyrkensia, Garon had sent Charlotte and Benny to assist Silas at Port Dia to stop the twins. Charlotte was not happy about that, however; she was sick of her job and the low pay… so when Elise talked with her, after she realized that she was one of the Nohrian princesses, she immediately defected with the hope of the higher pay of the royal guard, dragging Benny along with her.
She fought alongside the mixed army, eventually being lead to the Bottomless Canyon, where Charlotte jumped in… though the place she and Benny wound up was somewhere she never would have expected.
