Full Name: Rinkah
Nickname(s): N/A
Age: 18
Height: Above average height
Weight: Somewhat heavy due to musculature
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Heroic
Home: Flame Tribe Homelands, Hoshido
Franchise: Fire Emblem (Fates)
Physical Description
Rinkah stands out quite a bit in a crowd, partially due to the fact that she does not wear a shirt. A sarashi covers up her cleavage, and she wears a necklace of large prayer beads around her neck, but other than that, she wears nothing up top. An oni mask sits atop her head, and she wears a mildly ornate pair of flowy pants and fur-trimmed red gloves.
Weapons and Accessories
Rinkah has two weapons available to her on arrival on the island; the first is a Steel Club, which, while on the heavy side and a little unwieldy, is reliable and strong. The second is a Great Club, which is quite large, more than a little unwieldy, but has incredible critical hit potential and does extra critical damage.
Abilities/Powers
As a member of the Flame Tribe, Rinkah has some minor pyrokinetic power, which usually manifests in her attacks having fiery effects.
Weaknesses
Rinkah’s main weaknesses are that she, despite being an Oni Savage, doesn’t hit as hard as her class would imply, though she has defenses to counteract that. She doesn’t fight very well against sword-fighters or mages.
Skills
Rinkah has several combat-oriented skills. Her Personal Skill, Fiery Blood, gives her +4 to damage when her HP is not full. Rinkah fights at her best when she’s been damaged, as she refuses to back down.
Her next skill, Seal Resistance, is not one she herself gets much use out of, but it useful to her allies. After a battle, her blows weaken the enemy’s spirit, reducing their Resistance to magic by 6 for a brief period.
Shove, the next skill, is much simpler. She can shove an ally a little ways away, useful to moving allies out of harm’s way.
Finally, she has Locktouch, which gives her the ability to open doors and chests without a key… though her method is more akin to smashing the locks, instead of picking them open. She does not remember learning this skill.
Rinkah isn’t the best cook, usually leaving meals Burnt due to her lack of awareness with the flames, though she is capable of doing it.
Personality
Rinkah has a personality as fiery as her position as the chieftain-in-training of the Flame Tribe would imply; she trains constantly, never slacks, and refuses to back down from a challenge. She tends to keep to herself more often than not, given her tribe being one of solitude, and comes across as anti-social at times, though if pushed, shows a more open side… even if that side of her is very ‘tough love’, in a sense.
More than anything else, she hates being seen as weak and avoids situations where she could be seen as such.
History
Rinkah grew up in the Flame Tribe’s lands in Hoshido, raised to eventually take on the mantle of Chieftain from her father from a very young age. While her tribe was one that did not often get mixed in the affairs of outsiders, Rinkah had lent some aid to a Hoshidan force, but was taken as a prisoner of war. While she was forced to fight against the white-haired royal, the battle set up by King Garon, she remained undaunted, fighting with all her strength.
When her opponent refused to kill her and even helped her and Kaze escape, thanks to some aid by their brother Leo, Rinkah returned to Hoshido… eventually capturing that same royal, the lost child of Queen Mikoto, and returning them home. She lent her aid to the family helping a mountain village, and again to the Hoshidan royals in clearing the plaza of strange invisible soldiers.
When Corrin chose to fight for Hoshido, Rinkah lent her strength to the young man, eventually going all the way to Castle Krakenburg where Garon was defeated, seeing peace return.
However…
When Corrinne chose to fight for Nohr, Rinkah lent her aid to Hinoka at Notre Segasse, trying to keep the manakete from reaching the Rainbow Sage. They were defeated, and when their lives were spared, Rinkah returned home. What happened to her after that is a mystery to historians, though it is known that she was among the few who did not die in Nohr’s campaign.
But that wasn’t quite right, was it?
Rinkah battled alongside Corrin and the Hoshidan Army in their campaign to take down Garon, fighting against Corrin’s twin, Corrinne, on a few occasions. While the events of the war and the lives lost were never forgotten, Rinkah became a strong leader for her tribe.
That’s not quite right either, though.
Rinkah battled alongside Corrin and Hinoka at Notre Segasse, fighting against Corrinne during her attempt to see the Rainbow Sage. They were defeated and their lives spared, and Rinkah returned to her homeland. The lives lost were something that she never quite got over, though she did her best to help restore what was lost following the end of Nohr’s campaign.
This is what really happened, however.
While Rinkah disappeared for a bit following the twins ‘going rogue’, she appeared in the Wind Tribe’s territory, stopping the chieftain Fuga from decimating their small force. She announced her fervent belief in the two, asking Fuga to not turn his blade on them for misunderstandings and rumors… in response, he issued a challenge for them to prove themselves, which they passed.
Rinkah stood firm alongside Corrin and Corrinne, believing in them. As such, when they were to jump into the Bottomless Canyon, she had no reservations about doing so, even as she landed in a place unfamiliar to her...
