"Kaze, Silas." Corrinne nodded at the paladin and ninja. "In the interest of time, we should make the initial attack. After all, we seem to take magic the best." She held her Dragonstone, as if considering the option... before putting it away and drawing Yato. "Shall we?"

"As you command."

"We'll keep you covered." Felicia had her Flame Shuriken drawn. "It doesn't seem as though Tomebreaker's going to work on these guys..."

Corrin grit his teeth, tightening his grasp on Yato before moving behind Corrinne and Silas. "I'll back you up. Just... be careful. Even if they're not using their magic, those swords they're using are very strong. I'm... not totally sure what kind they are."

Azura stood beside Corrinne, holding her naginata in her usual stance. "I wonder if it would be possible for us to get one of those weapons for ourselves... just a thought, anyway. Getting through here is most important, after all."

Jakob readied his Barb Shuriken behind the frontline. "Ready?"

Silas nodded, before moving in alongside the others, going after the nearest Priestess. "Hyah!"

Although the Priestess had sustained damage from Silas's attack, she still had enough strength left to cast a blade of air in retaliation, although stumbling back after...

As a second Priestess raised her arm, creating a bright light, Corrinne shut her eyes and smirked, rolling to the side as the holy spell impacted a wall. "Go, Kaze!"

"On it." There was a green blur, followed by a series of slashes, if her movements were any indicator. After the final slash commenced, the blade vanished from the Priestess's hand...

"Excellent work, Kaze!" Corrin gave the ninja a thumbs-up before diving to the side, narrowly avoiding the Excalibur spell sent his way. "Gods, I don't remember the last time I've been this nervous in a fight before..."

Jakob's dagger buried itself in the staggered Priestess' throat, the Butler quickly retrieving his weapon. "We haven't fought foes that fought in this manner before, either. I'd wager that's part of it. Once we're done here, we ought to look at that weapon that was taken and see if any of us can even wield it; it looks a bit awkward."

Azura evaded a Thunder spell cast her way before impaling the remaining Priestess on her naginata, wiping a bit of sweat from her brow. "Well, I suppose we'll just have to see, won't we? I think that's the last one."

"... I'm getting a bad feeling about this room." Corrinne stopped partway through their descent. "Kaze, could you take a look?"

The ninja silently approached the entrance, carrying the strange blade. There was a pause, and a tilt of the head. "... How strange."

"How so?"

"It looks normal... And yet, I can't help but feel as though something is off..."

Corrinne sighed, and slowly approached the entrance. "Let's stick together. That's all we can do..."

Corrin followed Corrinne inside, grasping his blade tightly...

And immediately hit the floor as a spell went flying his way. "Gah, of course there'd be mages here!"

"Rgh!? ... I can feel that... something is incredibly wrong..." Corrinne gripped the Disrobing Gale, firing the pink winds into the room as she charged forward. To her surprise, the knight she struck barely flinched as it lumbered towards her. "What?! How?!"

And then he struck. Corrinne yelped as she fell back, although noting that it didn't hurt as much as she was expecting... "Huh?"

"... I think I know what's wrong with this room. Kaze, Felicia, switch main weapons. Silas, do you have the Bolt Naginata? You'll need to use that. Corrin. Azura... Just try not to get killed until it goes back to normal."

There was the sound of weapons being swapped.

Corrin grit his teeth, sheathing his sword. "I'm guessing I'm on staff duty then?" He seemed to understand what Corrinne was implying.

Azura nodded in response, standing behind him. "I believe so. Let's simply stay back and support the others for now."

Silas nodded, holding the electrically charged weapon in his hands. "I'm prepared."

A flaming shuriken was held in Kaze's hand, the ninja seeming uneasy. "This is... unusual. I can only be glad this is not permanent..."

A samurai struck the ninja in the back, but Kaze only gave a slight yelp. "Although... This does have advantages..." Whipping around, the offending sword-user got two slashes of the Flame Shuriken to the face, felling the spectral foe.

"Ha... I think I've got this!" Felicia tossed the Steel Shuriken in her palm, feeling her physical power flow. Her eye glinted as she turned on the Knight that had attacked Corrinne. "You're just a stain!" With a powerful toss, the heavily-armoured foe collapsed and dissolved...

Putting away the tome, Corrinne drew Yato, nodding at Silas. "Ready? Let's get the mage and his bodyguard." With a warcry, the manakete charged for the second knight...

"Hrrraah!" Silas shouted, charging alongside the manakete, impaling the mage with the magical weapon. "This is a weird feeling but I don't mind it. Kinda nice."

Corrinne's strike felled the knight, and shortly after, a shattering sound could be heard in the room. Corrin, almost instantly, charged in, his Dragon Fang strike felling a mage that was attempting to strike Silas from his blind side. "There! I think everything's been righted for now! How many more are there?"

"Not too many more, Lord Corrin," Jakob replied, Barb Shuriken in hand. "I see four more. Two mage, two Knight. Let's be done with these folks and hurry onward!"

"I second that notion! It feels like we've been down here for years!"

With a swing of Yato, a mage was dispatched. "Hurry! It feels like this room's going to change back any second now!"

"Let's go."

Two sets of hands gripped shuriken, one flaming and one steel, in the direction of a knight. The one of steel hit first...

The shattering sound was heard again. The flaming shuriken struck the knight, felling it.

The second mage fell to Silas' Bolt Naginata, a critical blow felling the spellcaster.

"All that's left is the last knight. Let him have it!" Corrin shouted out, falling back as the room's effect activated again.

The armored warrior moved towards Corrinne, thrusting a lance in her direction.

Corrinne's head shifted into her dragon form's, Yato held in front of her in a defensive stance...

When the knight struck her, the manakete shifted into her dragon form, crushing the armoured fighter underneath, water splashing up as she stomped. As it dissolved and she shifted back, Corrinne initially failed to notice a certain development. "All right, just one more floor, right? Let's g-"

And then she fell down the hole she had created when she slammed down on the knight. A crashing sound could be heard below. "Ow... Oh, it's a Dark Knight! I don't fancy fighting this all alone!"

[Heavy dragons and fragile floors do not mix...]

"Ah, great..." Silas sighed before hurrying down the stairs, with Jakob and Azura close behind.

Corrin hurried afterwards, readying his blade as he stared at their opponent. "If it's anything like the last time, this one is going to be strong... but we should get a nice reward on the next floor. Is everyone ready?!"

Jakob nodded, holding his shuriken. "I can see... this one has multiple weapons. Be careful."

As they arrived, Corrinne was dueling the Dark Knight, Yato parrying a Steel Sword. "Be careful! This thing has Dual weaponry too!"

"Ha... Good thing we figured out that Tomebreaker skill, huh Jakob?" Spinning her Flame Shuriken, Felicia nodded at the butler.

"It's powerful, but it's only one man." Kaze noted. "Attacking from all angles should disorient it."
