Physical Description
Mara appears as a large cat-like creature, with dark purple fur and bright green, eerie-looking eyes with pale, narrow pupils. Mara is constantly grinning, exposing her slightly greenish and extremely sharp teeth. On her face, below each eye, is a pair of glowing, sickly green markings, with a cross-like marking across the top of her head, and strange marking on her chest. Her head has a certain masklike quality to it, and each of her feet ends in two sharp toes. As a show of her sealed status, Mara wears a pair of silver shackles on her ankles. In lieu of a true tail, Mara has instead nine glowing tendrils, which can grow, shrink, and bind together as she pleases.
Weapons and Accessories
While Mara's claws and teeth are definitely sharp enough to draw blood and can be used as weapon, Mara relies more on her magic due to her small size, and whoever her beneficiary is. She can also use her tendrils as a makeshift whip, or to bind.
Abilities/Powers
As a demon, Mara can imbue other beings with some of her powers by means of a Fell Contract, empowering the individual in exchange for their soul at the end; the ability to move quickly through shadows as one herself, night vision, and the ability to use demonic magic. She is also capable of casting magic of all kinds, although whether this is due to her absorbing the souls of others or an innate ability. She can hover in the air, and shift between her mask and cat forms at will. The abilities she shares with her beneficiaries are the ability to weaponize her "tail" as a series of tentacles, the ability to generate a corrosive liquid through her paws, a venomous touch/bite, poisonous blood, the ability to survive in toxic environments, an immunity to all poisons, and the ability to remove the soul of a dying or recently deceased individual from their body. Mara can also weaponize the souls she has stolen via her personal spell, the Soul Burn, in which she converts a stream of stolen souls into a burst of hellfire that damages her victim's very soul.
It should be noted that Mara is currently "sealed," in that she is forced to manifest in a smaller form and with lesser abilities.
Weaknesses
As a demon, should Mara's core, a sickly-coloured emerald, be destroyed, she will die permanently. As it stands, even lesser blows could do serious damage thanks to her tiny size, forcing her to use her stolen souls to regenerate herself. While her Soul Burn attack is a deadly, nigh-unblockable attack, Mara is forced to use up souls to attack with it; as such, it mainly acts as a last resort. Additionally, as a wind elemental, and despite her own personal spell being fire, Mara takes extra damage from fire attacks.
Skills
Mara is a manipulator and a skilled liar, able to coerce anything from anyone with enough time. She is a powerful mage in her own right, and in fact, created some of the nastier spells. To make up for her small size, Mara excels at cheating. Finally, she has a near-photographic memory and a seemingly-innate sense of direction and location.

Mara appears as calm, manipulative, and highly charismatic. She is unfailingly polite, even to those she utterly despises, and always addresses people by their proper title. She mainly obtains her goals by a combination of flattery and appealing to the hopes and dreams of others. A highly intelligent individual, Mara is capable of learning from her mistakes and knows when to retreat. Despite being a being of pure evil, Mara also has a wicked sense of humour, even at her own expense, and is willing to crack jokes.
Beneath the affable mask, Mara relishes in the suffering of others. She will stop at nothing to obtain her goal of returning to her true form, and is swift and deadly when it comes to killing her enemies. dropping her usual affability.
History
Mara was hatched on the pre-Undoing Earth, the only surviving child of her brood. Her parents would perish in a mysterious accident while she was still an adolescent, although she escaped to the Gobi Desert and became an aid to the demon king, Mastema, although his daughter, Malebolge, would always be suspicious of her. Jealous of the respect Mastema had with his people and the fear he commanded from humans, Mara decided she would overthrow him. The Great Undoing would break out after, and Mara took advantage of the multitude of human deaths, absorbing the fallen to obtain a monstrous form.
But her actions actually helped end the war, as an angel joined forces with Malebolge, who had taken up the mantle of leadership from her father, and Salsu, a young demon knight. The three combined their powers and sealed Mara away, trapping her deep into the Earth as a mask with no powers...
However... A seismic event during the rebuilding of Earth, now named Purgatorio, freeing the mask Mara. A foolish human put her on, and by taking his soul, Mara was able to re-manifest, albeit in a weakened state. She ended up in another world, where she spat with a maniacal angel, eventually returning to her hatching planet. Through a series of failed contracts, Mara began to slowly absorb souls again. Her current partner, a failed businessman that Mara broke out of Aicarmean prison in exchange for his loyalty, then gave Mara the means to speed up her absorption process via his influence... Although Mara has contemplated consuming his soul now rather than waiting for the moron to break it.
