Face down in the dirt she said...
It was a few days later and the dusk was upon her. Good had managed to keep enough money to deliver a flower to Felix each night. She was quite proud of herself for being able to. She hadn't left any other notes, just a single flower. Now she twirled with one she had found from a flower patch. She gazed at it and grinned, was he out today? Good wasn't sure, but he couldn't possibly stay in there much longer. She wondered if he was or not...would they cross paths soon? Good felt wary on that part, remembering the feeling. How hard she had to fight to not give in and run away. Good would keep a distance for a while, but maybe eventually she'd go closer....
"This doesn't hurt" she said "I finally had enough."

Felix was out. Two days had passed since that day... The day Akumu had returned and the day Felix and Masahiro had fended him off... Or, rather, Masahiro fended him off and Felix became the human punching-bag. He had felt weak until he realized Good had gotten away because Akumu was beating on him and not trying to grab her. He realized that his endurance had helped her get away. He sighed, looking around, and saw quite a lot of people roaming the area. He shied away from most of the guys he went near. He knew Good had it worse, but this was a public place... He didn't know she was here.

Good was sitting in a quieter area of the park, where no one was at. She sat in an indian-style as she played with the flower. It smelt nice to her nose, though not as nice as blood. Good wondered when the next time she'd have to feed was. She could go for a while....but not as long as she wanted to. She was still a newborn vampire, pretty much. She still hadn't been a vampire for a year. Good sighed softly as she thought about what she was. It was very unfortunate. She frowned thoughtfully and set the flower in her lap. Then she looked upward at the sky as it began to grow darker. Soon this place would be pretty much empty...few walked at night.
"This doesn't hurt" she said "I finally had enough."

Felix continued walking by. His eyes darted from side to side as if watching for an ambush. It wasn't until they looked to the right that he noticed Good. He smiled softly and then walked over towards her, but stopped a few feet away from her, not getting too close in case. "Hello," he said.

Her eyes and attention lay on the flower till footsteps caught her ears. Her head snapped up and eyes widened in alarm. But seeing Felix, they calmed to a neutral look. Good lifted herself to her feet, hands resting at her sides. He stopped a few feet away, but still she felt uncomfortable. Good hardly knew him, though, so there was a good reason. Her gaze remained on intently on him as he greeted her. Good nodded a response and then looked down at the flower she held. She held it out to him, offering it to him. A small, yet sincere, smile came to her face.
"This doesn't hurt" she said "I finally had enough."

"Thank you for the flowers," Felix said, taking the flower softly from her hand, trying to prove he was harmless. "You didn't have to, you know."

Good smiled a tad brighter at the thanks, glad to know she had done well. As he took the flower, she felt herself back away on instinct. Her eyes turned wary for a moment and she watched him as she put another foot or two between them. But she soon relaxed as he spoke again. Good shook her head in disagreement and frowned, yet she still had no wanting to speak. She wanted to remain quiet, but she knew she had to speak. Her mouth opened, but no words seemed to come out. She closed her mouth and frowned, then opened it again and forced sound to come out. "N-no..." she whispered and looked down, "y-ou deserved t-them...."

"I did not... Even saving you, I went against your wishes. While they were crazy and so driven by fear, I didn't let him take you... That's why I was hospitalized," Felix said.

"B-but..." Good frowned but fell into silence again. She looked down at the ground and gave up. Of course she was just like that, it was her taught nature. Don't argue, just listen and accept. That was how she was taught to think. Though, she knew her wishes had been stupid and wrong. She was glad she had been stopped.

"Don't get me wrong," Felix quickly added, seeing the look on her face, "I greatly appreciated the flowers." He smiled softly. "They were very beautiful."

Good nodded in a "you're welcome" and looked up at him. "O-oh...I n-ever t-told you....m-my name..." Good realized this and gave a look of apology. All this time she had never once said anything about her name. Well..there really was no name, actually. She bowed slightly, "u-uh..I-I don't h-ave a name...s-sorry...but....p-please....call me Good." She stood straight again, but still held the position of a scolded puppy. Really, that was a posture she held often.

"No name... Just like Ruby-chan, huh... Oh... You don't have to look scolded... I'm not mad at you," Felix said.

"You really have been hurt, haven't you?" Felix asked, frowning, then he sighed. "I wish you'd open up... I wanna help you... But you think I wanna harm you..."

Good had no response to that, her eyes merely saddened. She looked down in a guilty manor and began to fiddle with her fingers. It wasn't her fault fully that she couldn't open up...at least, she didn't think it was. Her mind automatically thought any male would harm her, and it made her shy away from them all. Help....what would he help with? She sighed gently and still found no words to speak. She felt guilty for fearing to open up, but not for fearing males. Really, she wasn't sure what to feel. "S-sorry...." she finally managed, but nothing more.
"This doesn't hurt" she said "I finally had enough."
