"Huh." Paul raised an eyebrow and scratched the back of his head. "Well... even if you don't know anything about it, that kind of subconscious recognition has to mean something, right?" Yeah, he was spitballing, but something about the mere concept itself felt... familiar to him.
While everyone else's attention was suddenly on the door and the new arrivals behind it, Kenny took a moment to ponder what Leanne had told him. So their universe's magic was inherent. The power came from within. He had to concede that it made sense, but if that was the case, given the powers he already had, was it possible he could...?
"HI, EVERYBODY!"
Kenny jumped. Kelsey cringed. Paul went rigid.
After letting Sophi and Percy enter the facility with Liderc in tow, Mic promptly made his grand entrance with a big grin and an even bigger wave. He took a few short seconds to look around before his attention landed on the two angels standing off to the side...
"OH HEY! I'VE HEARD ABOUT YOU TWO! We haven't officially met! Micrathene Xiuhtecuhtli, at your service!!!" He bowed to the club's owners, then he turned to greet the other assembled guests. "HELLO! Don't mind us! We were just looking to get the Keruv's wing healed!"
Kelsey's face remained in its slightly screwed up, teeth-clenched expression. "F***, you're loud."
"HA HA...!!! I GET THAT A LOT, ACTUALLY~!"
While's Kelsey's gaze flicked between Mic and Lobo as if to insinuate the latter had been given a run for his money, Paul just stared blankly at the new angels with reserved curiosity and a fair amount of concern.

"You. I've seen you before," Loba said to Sophi. "What is your story? Why are you here, and why is his wing so broken?" For someone with such a normally-soft face, her expression was harsh. She motioned for Lobo to come over, grumbling and pulling a couch, and for Percy. "Put him down on that." At last, the loud one. "... I believe you may have mistaken us for someone else."
"Hey, sis," Lobo groaned. "Why are we helpin' him out? How do we know his killing boner for us won't go off the second he wakes up?" In response, Loba conjured a watery hand, flicking Lobo on the nose. "Ugh! Iph gosph uphs mh nohse! Bleetch! Ptooey!"
Percy set the unconscious angel down on the couch, taking care to not damage the broken-wing further. "Uh... did I miss something? Like..."
"Never you mind..." Loba turned to the humans. "... I'm sorry. You can't just imagine I'd abandon my little brother like that."
"Hang on... you mean that guy is your little brother?" Jordan pointed out. "Maybe I need glasses-" He reached over and yanked William's glasses off ("Jordan! Give those back!"), stared for a moment, before returning them. "I don't see the family resemblance."
After readjusting his glasses, William shot Jordan a quick glare, before too glancing at the angels. "... My ears still hurt, but at least I can see again..." He turned to Mic, rubbing his sore ears. "Hey man, could you maybe learn some volume control?" One look at the unconscious angel, then back to the angel twins (Lobo still trying to get the water out of his nose). "Little brother?"
"Well, little half-brother."
"I don't think that's what he meant..." Leanne pointed out. "Y'all don't look a thing like each other, and that's comin' from me!" She pulled at a pink braid as if to emphasize this.
"Yeah, some family resemblance we've got," Lobo snarked, having finally got the water out of his nose. "For starters, I'm FAR more attractive."
"Sure. Let's go with that." In the meantime, Percy had managed to remove Liderc's armour, leaving him in just his bulky overshirt and tights. "So... you guys can fix that, right?" He gestured to the protruding bone.

"Things went south in Paradiso... Liderc was tried for a crime he didn't commit and exiled..." Sophi offered after shaking her head at Mic's entrance. "I told off Valravn, my old boss, and followed Liderc so he wouldn't get hurt... we arrived during a really bad part of the storm and a piece of some dislodged tree caught him on the blind side..."

Ranuen covered his ears at the booming voice that exploded into the room. "Agh! What the heck!?" He growled out, the sound magnified on his smaller ears. "Volume control damnit!" At Mic's adage that he was often told that, Ranuen hastily added in, poking his head back from around Leanne's hat. "If you hear that a lot, have you considered trying to quiet down a little?" He asked, still wincing from Mic's voice.
They were bringing someone with them though. Someone injured? Ranuen didn't get a great look at them, but from the sound of things, it wasn't good. "I take it the hosts here know these people?" He asked, craning his neck for a better look. Oh. Oh geeze. That looked painful. "How does.... OW! That looks really bad!" He explained, before shutting up to listen to Sophi. It seemed that there was an opportunity to learn a bit about these people and he intended to make full use of it. A storm caught him? "That looks.... like worse than any old storm." He noted.

"Oh, no, I know plenty about you two!" Mic happily insisted. "I've done my research into the Keruv's family! But don't you worry, I won't bore you with all that! First things first, as they say!"
As he plopped down into a seat, Mic smiled to the elder Lowe and the tiny person on the hat. "Sorry! I'm just kinda anxious in both a good and bad way! Bad for the Keruv, but good to meet all of you!" Then he turned to the two young men seated to his direct right. "Hi. You can call me Mic."
"Um... Paul."
"Kenny."
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance!"
"Y-You too." After mustering the best grin he could for the little yellow angel, Paul turned to Jordan with a shrug. "Well, you've seen me next to my brother. Can't act like we're mirror images either. Still, that... that looks pretty bad. Probably should give that wing some attention."
"Boy, it's too bad my brother isn't here..." Mic mused with a sad, wistful smile. "He could've patched that right up like nobody's business. But hey, that's why we came to you fellas!"
Kelsey didn't know what to say. She just watched the goings on from her short distance, shooting awkward looks at just about everyone.

"Let's just find him a room. Lobo?" Lobo gestured to Lobo with a watery hand. Said brother grumbled, and with some strain, hoisted the couch with Liderc on it above his head. "That's what I thought. We'll be back in a minute. ... You can come with us. It may be good for him to have someone he won't have a killing boner for when he wakes." She gestured for Sophi to follow them up the stairs, securing the unconscious angel just in case Lobo "accidentally" dropped him.
Once those angels were gone, Percy coughed. "... So, it's a day for brotherly feelings, is it? Ha... I wish I had a brother..."
Leanne rolled her eyes. "Ya really don't. It's overrated." Ouch. That was very cold for a fire elemental.
"Well, you're practically our baby brother at this rate, Perce."
"... Hang on. BABY brother?!" The brunette's face turned a bright shade of red at this. "Can't you at least call me your younger brother?!"
"Nope. You're our easily-flustered baby brother, stud. 'Fraid there' nothin' you can do unless you suddenly grow three feet and gain over a thousand pounds."
"LEANNE! Make Will and Jordan not pick on me!!"
"Nah."

Sophi nodded and followed Loba. "Yes ma'am," she offered. She knew the twins were older than she was but still she was a guest in their establishment none the less and should be respectful. "And I do apologize for our intrusion..."

Ranuen continued to rub his ears painfully, as Mic's voice, although slightly adjusted, was still too loud for him this close. Well whatever. They'd stop ringing at some point, he figured. He watched as the angels vanished with the wounded one, up the stairs and away, and then sighed, listening to Percy, Will and Leanne bicker. He even managed to smile a little bit at that. "Ahh... family." Sorta missed his own from time to time... ehhhh.... they were probably doing fine!
"Honestly, even if he did, he'd still probably be your little brother." Ranuen added, oblivious to the irony of his own statement. He glanced at Mic. "Your brother? Who is he? I'm guessing he's a powerful healer?" He inquired, now disregarding the stairwell Loba and Lobo had departed up. "Guessing you can't call him in huh?"

"Much obliged, amigos!" Mic called to the twins and Sophi as they carried the unconscious Keruv upstairs. As far as he was concerned, things could only improve from here. While they were taking care of Liderc, the least he could do was acquaint himself with this ragtag group on their behalf.
"Yeah, that seems to be the theme today, huh?" Paul mused, nodding to Percy. He kept his mouth shut while the bickering occurred, leaning his cheek against his fist and observing the scene with an amused smirk. Glad to know these guys could maintain some levity in light of the situation.
Likewise, Kenny chuckled at the teasing going on. "Just be glad my brother isn't here. Our human to a**hole ratio is already questionable in this team. It's gonna be weird enough when Paul and Scott have to play catch-up."
"Eh... I'm honestly trying not to think too hard about that inevitability anymore," Paul sighed with a shrug. "Compared to our relationship as kids, what's the worst he can do to me?"
"There are so many jokes I can make regarding your brother's chosen profession, but for the sake of avoiding your mopey face again, I will tactfully opt to use none of them. I'd also like to point out the irony in me bringing this up at all."
Mic snickered at Paul and Kenny. He could already tell he liked these two. Then he turned to smile down at the miniature human on the table. "Oh, Mino? Yeah, he's a doctor, in keeping with his subtype's assigned profession! Real master of the art if I do say so myself! Only problem...?" He shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, I don't know where he is. Little bro left Paradiso quite some time ago. Haven't heard from him since."
"So what about you?" Kelsey finally spoke up again, arms folded, eyes scrutinizing Mic. "Your friend said Lobo and Loba's brother was apparently exiled from your homeworld, right? What's that about? What brings you lot here?"
"Well, me..." Mic began with a bright smile. "I'm here on assignment! My path just happened to cross with the Keruv's! As for him and Sophi..." Then he awkwardly gritted his teeth and tilted his head back and forth. "Touchy subject matter. Probably best I don't go spreading it behind his back. But if there's anything else you wanna know, I'm an open book!"
"Uh-huh..." Seemed Kelsey wasn't sure how to take the loudmouthed angel up on his offer.

"Well, I'm gonna get away from this prick before he wakes up and tries to kill us," Lobo said, placing the couch down with a heavy sigh. "You know where the medical supplies are. For you, new girl, it's the red cross with red wings. Now if you'll excuse me, we have other guests in the house. Bar. Whatever this qualifies as?!"
As Lobo began to stomp back down the stairs, Loba's watery hands lifted Liderc off of the sofa and onto a smaller, compact bed. "... I've never heard the term 'killing boner' before, but now I have." She gave a soft sigh. "... Call me Loba. I won't ask about what happened if you don't ask about our past. Please pass me the medical kit... And get the ice ready. I'm going to have to perform some surgery to get that bone back where it belongs..."
---
"Yeah, I've got a couple questions for ya," Jordan said, rubbing his ears. "If you've been told to quiet the fuck down, why don't ya actually listen to them? Also, wouldn't be too hard for me to track that brother of your's down if he's around here. Is he-"
Thwack! Smack to the back of the head courtesy of Will. "Jordan, don't skeeve out the kid already. In advance, I am very sorry about the antics of my brother. I feel the need to apologize again because I have the feeling he won't."
"Nope."
"See what I mean?"
"So, uh... Mic, yeah?" Percy poked up. "Just what is your mission? Can I help you out?"
"If pointy-ears is gonna help ya, ya might as well make a failure report. He's like, really bad at helping people despite how hard he tries," Leanne snarked in response to Percy's offer to help.
"Ouch, Leanne. That was cold, especially for you. No need to bring my ill-fated but well-meaning attempts to help."

Sophi nodded. "Sophi... And thank you for your hospitality..." She quickly got the medical kit. "I hadn't heard them either..."

Ranuen winced as Mic's voice rang out frustratingly loud again, staggering back a little this time... and promptly falling off the side of the table he'd been standing on, and missing the latter half of Mic's conversation. "Ow." He intoned in a quiet voice as he hit the club's floor. It hadn't really hurt, more like banging your leg into a desk kind of hurting, but it was still an uncomfortable landing. He got back to his feet and dusted himself off, catching Leanne's shot at Percy, and couldn't help but grin a little at that. "Percy's not been that bad. He's helped! ...A little. I think. Not sure if it outweighs the problems he's made but he has helped with those problems."

"Oh, heheh..." Mic rubbed his neck and awkwardly grinned at Jordan. "Like I said, I don't know where Mino is. If he's here, if he wound up in your world, if he's just vanished off the face of this reality... can't say I know for sure."
"That's too bad..." Paul murmured sympathetically.
"Yeah. I miss the guy. But then again, he was never one for social interaction, so I guess it was only a matter of time." Mic bashfully sunk in his seat as he turned to Percy, briefly touching a finger to his lips. "Oh, well, uh... I don't know if Lady Bennu would be too keen on me declassifying this mission."
"I guess that's fair..." Kelsey muttered with a shrug, her gaze noticeably flicking to the right.
On cue, Tri's astral projection materialized for her, casting a smirk at the angel. "He's looking for his court leader's robot assistant."
"...Ah." Kelsey wasn't sure how else to respond to that statement. It sounded nonsensical, sure, but after everything else that had happened to her this week, logic itself may as well have been nonsense.
Tri lowered himself to the floor and rested his chin in his hand, smiling down at Ranuen and chuckling sweetly as if the tiny mage could hear him, "No. Any help Fluffy has offered does not outweigh the mess he made."
Sighing and shaking her head at that remark, Kelsey turned back to the group and continued, "Well... if no one has any questions, I... do have something I need to say. Something I'm gonna need help with."
Paul worriedly looked up at her, almost sensing where this was going. "Does this have... anything to do with what Kendall told you?
"Pretty much everything."

"I, uh, have one question, but I'm sure it's gonna get answered anyway." Will's glance shot towards Leanne and Percy. It seemed like those two were about to pick a fight, if the looks in their eyes were anything. "Just... lemme know if we can help. Right, Jordan?"
"Maybe."
"I'll take that as a yes." He turned to Kelsey. "The floor is your's. Er, the bar is your's? I dunno."
"Hey, hey, I heard there was gonna be somethin' excitin' and less annoyin' down here." Lobo emerged from the stairs, taking a seat, nodding at Kelsey. "You lot seem like more fun than the comatose prick."
---
"Oh father, please forgive me for what I am about to do... whoever and wherever you are."
Conjuring a pair of watery hands, Loba took a scalpel and a pair of scissors in her real hands, leaving a stapler and the ice pack in her watery ones. "Hold him still. We have no anesthetics, so this will hurt. I'd rather not have him wake and lash out at me, so please..." Slowly, carefully, Loba began to cut away some of the feathers around the fracture site, allowing her access to the skin and bone below.
Faint whimpering noises could be heard.

Sophi nodded and did as instructed. It was odd for the owl to hold anyone down much less the Keruv. She raised a wing to cover her eyes as her hands held Liderc down.
